Fabulous! Friendly. Professional. 5 Donelle is wonderful. My hair grew out perfectly at every length and the color was perfect.

I went to Tanglez after deciding to get my long hair chopped into a short pixie style. I normally cut my hair myself with the help of a friend to get the back and the last time I got my hair professionally cut was when I was 8, so I was excited to get a salon experience. I was happy with my cut but my experience was very lack-luster. I didn't feel welcome or well cared for.
My stylist was Tammy. Maybe she was having a bad day, maybe because I was her last appointment she was tired, or maybe she is just a curt person, but I felt like I was burden to her. She was late and when she arrived she went through a standard meet and greet with me and went down to business. I felt like she wanted to get me in and out quick. I was expecting a little more finesse in her "bed side manner". Even though I was ready to go short, I was still a little nervous, but she made the first cut immediately without hesitation or comment and I guess I wanted her to commiserate with me a little. She didn't warn me before she put the chair upright after my hair-washing, so I felt kind of jostled around without a heads up. When I decided I wanted to go shorter than originally planned, Tammy said she thought it would be ugly but it was totally up to me. When she wiped the back of my neck, she used a stained damp towel taken from her waste basket. When she took off my cape, she immediately started talking with the next stylist over about food or something and our session was done without any closing statement. I kind of felt like I was left hanging. I waited for a little while, but just left my seat when I realized she wasn't going to give any sort of closure.
In the end I was happy with my haircut (even though Tammy thought it was ugly, haha) but my overall experience sucked. It was only $20 before the tip, so maybe the inexpensive price makes up for the poor customer service.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
