Excellent service with a very detailed review of all of my vehicles. Results are sent to you by text with associated casts that you can approve or reject on the text message. Timely repair of the approved work. I take both of my vehicles there!

Do NOT use the "Request Pricing/Request a Quote" system on yelp. ToyoMotors charges $120 to provide a quote on any vehicle. Even if you present a competing quote and just want their price for those exact items. They are abusing Yelp's quote request service. I don't understand why some in the auto repair industry aren't transparent about and keep their pricing behind paywalls.
Update in reply to owner: Businesses can Opt-Out of the quote/pricing feature, as many businesses do. They can turn on "Messaging" instead, if all you want to do is collect $120 from everyone before providing a quote. Also, hundreds of valley mechanics do not charge for quotes. Different business strategies are fine but I'm unconvinced that the business can't turn off quotes on Yelp. Also, I sent the owner a screenshot of a different mechanic's break down of the specific parts and labor work I was looking for another quote on. Business refused to tell me what they'd charge for the same work. Weird. Instead, I'd have to pay them $120 for them to tell me what they'd charge. If their quote is $$$ more, too bad, I'm out another $120. No thanks. I wasn't asking for a complete maintenance inspection on the vehicle for free. Apparently this business has too much work.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Thank you for the feedback Tom, unfortunately Yelps quote request feature is not something you can just undo, it’s part of their platform. We have a free estimator on our website for customers to use for general work, but in over 44 years of business we have never provided blind estimating, too much room for error, and we would need to pay a dedicated quote person just to keep up with the average of 37 price shoppers daily. We wish you well.

Friendly and accommodating people.
The estimate didn't breakdown the labor and parts separately until I called.
The parts were priced higher the local Toyota dealership.
The labor was quoted at six hours yet took another mechanic about an hour to install the same parts listed on their estimate.
We save $800 on a $2000 repair by going elsewhere.
I see the business is well rated, so this might be an outlier situation.
Still, wanted people to know.Helpful 0Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Verified REAL Client- Hi Joshua, we appreciate the kind words along with the constructive criticism. We are also glad you found a solution that fits your budget. To be fair, this was not a normal repair, it was fixing items damaged from running over something in the road. Additionally dealer pricing across the parts counter or on the web is much different than Retail Dealer Service Center Pricing. Our efforts are not to mislead you in any way. We are not the cheapest in town, but we are honest and great at what we do, and therefore charge accordingly. Thank you again for the feedback.

Amazing customer service and fair pricing. This is my new favorite automotive shop. They understand my Lexus and I can rely on them.

Quality work at reasonable prices. Good people worked there. My car came in at under what the initial estimate was by over five hundred dollars.

I have been going to Toyo Motors since 1987, I haven't gone anywhere else since then. Always happy with the repair and notifications of other pending issues I might need to take care of. Recently brought my car in at noon on Friday before driving to Long Beach, CA for a scout outing on Catalina Island, they got it done for me and my scouts! I truly appreciate their commitment to established customers!

ToyoMotors is worth the drive to keep our old Toyota running well. They tell us what really is needed and they find needed reasonably priced quality parts. The mechanics and office staff are great!

ToyoMotors took great care of me and my GX470 truck. It's great to have mechanics who know and love the type of car you have, and take care of it like it's their own. Price was what I was quoted and they were very up front about any recommended work and in getting my approval.

I've been dealing with these guys for several years and can say they've only demonstrated the highest level of service, professionalism, and reliability. I'm a Rideshare driver who drives the sh*t out of my 2012 PriusV with 310,000 miles. Toyo has replaced the battery and engine, repaired the brakes and some other minor work and it was all done well and fast and at a fair price.

Really 2 years later they respond and update Their post to say I need new rotors cause they are pitted when I went in to replace brake pads and rotors to begin with? I don't even own the car anymore. Don't waste your time. I rather go to the dealer. You can't clean up your dirty deeds.

Verified REAL Client- Rainey says that the brakes touched the wear sensors 4 months after we said the brakes were fine, which we did indeed say. Now mind you, we are certainly not in the business to turn away work if it actually needs to be done. So I reached out to him personally to investigate what happened or where we had gone wrong, I also stated that if they were down to the wear indicators we would replace them for FREE! Rainey was angry, belligerent, and refused to let us look at it. We tried on multiple occasions to come to a resolution but learned the absolute truth to you cannot please everyone.
Nov 16, 2020Previous reviewI wanna like this place but I need to share my experience. Took my 2013 Honda CRV in a July and wanted them to replace my my brake pads and rotors. At 125K miles I think it was time. They came back and stated my break pads were at 60% and did not recommend replacement but........ the rear struts were leaking, brake fluid was dirty and air cabin filter needed replacing for $700.00. I appreciated their honesty and had the work performed. Today, Nov 16, 4 months later and about 5 thousand more miles, the brake wear indicators are grinding. Imagine that! Not going back. Disappointed, thought I had found a legit place.
