I'm breaking up with Towne Lake Car Wash.
Gave it another shot after the last terrible wash- this was just as bad.
For seven years I've been really happy with this place.
Extremely happy.
All good things come to an end, I guess.
I won't be back. Nor will my wife... or daughter.
My son either
Haven't seen any of the awesome guys/gals that I'd ask for (Salvi, you are missed!).
That should have been the telltale sign.
I know it's "just" a car wash, but at thirty-plus bucks a crack? Disappointed is an understatement.
Laughable.
Pics were taken immediately after pulling in my driveway after picking up (four minutes away).
I didn't have the energy to point this out to the kid.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Aug 25, 2015Previous reviewAnother positive experience! Lost a ring once... the detailer found it and placed it on the dash! Just walked back from a haircut, truck done, looks like new in and out.
Armando, ask for him, does a great job on the interior and wheels! - Mohamed H.Atlanta, GA394166320Mar 3, 2021
They changed management and ownership. They have are just terrible. One advertised price abs one price inside. Make you pay upfront unlike before where you paid after you were satisfied. Been coming here for 5 years and after the change never going back. Avoid at all costs. I had to clean my 4 runner more after coming back home. Miss the old
Ownership. They were good.
Like most things new isn't always better. Absolutely avoid.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Ralph S.Woodstock, GA15151204May 31, 2019Updated review
Boy this place is falling apart. It's so dirty inside I chose to wait outside in the heat.
Car washes are still great and affordable with my senior discount however will consider the new Carwash behind Bruster Ice Cream the next time.

First, I had to pay $35 for outside and "they'll touch the inside". I pay $22 or $27 for other places I go for the same service. Second, the job they did was garbage! It looked like they had ONLY "touched" the inside. There was still stuff on the front seats, dog hair in the back, and the (rubber) floor mats were WET. The guy who worked on it said, "I did as much as I could before it started raining".
Ummmm.....
It was sprinkling, not raining. The outside had already been washed at the tunnel. Are you going to melt if you get a little wet?
But I digress. I took my car here years ago and was very disappointed in the results. I took a chance with them this time because it was NYE, I'm a Lyft driver, and had to get done. In fact, that's why I didn't just do it myself. I trusted these "professionals" a second time. I will not return!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Hal K.Woodstock, GA09Jun 13, 2021
Awful and overpriced since the ownership changed. You are greeted with a maze of signs, none of which tell you need to know. I thought I might want the "Peach" until that was explained - sort of. I finally got a guy to work me all the way through the messed up menu. What I wanted is called a "Basic Wash" everywhere else. Not here. Anyway: $35! Seriously? A trip throughthe tunnel, a kid with a towel and a quick vacuum is $35? I drove away. The former owner was great. (BTW, a peach is a fruit. You buy them at Publix)

I have a brand new 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe. I just bought it in august and know for a fact that I didn't cause the following issue.
I purchased the $120 full interior detail and they told me it would take two hours. I am pregnant and had gotten sick in my car and told them the reason I was bringing it in was to get the vomit stain out of my driver seat. They assured Me that they would extract the stain. When I came back to pick up my car they asked me if everything looked okay. I loooked and I noticed the stain was still there and did mention it. He said he did his very best to get it out and I believed him. I thought the rest of the car looked good so I still left a generous tip. Upon arriving home, I noticed a BURN in my passenger seat! There is no hole, but clearly something they used to clean or dry my seats left a distinct burn mark in my seat. Okay fine. The next day I went to my car to retrieve the shampoo and conditioner I had purchased from my hair salon a few days prior and it was no where to be found. I have only been at home. I asked my partner if he removed it and he didn't. I know that I didn't either. Okay so now I'm pissed. I hardly ever splurge on myself and purchased the shampoo and conditioner to treat myself and was excited about using it. It cost me over $60 for the combo. I called the car wash and they said they couldn't find it. I'm just confused on why it was removed in the first place? It was the only thing in my car and they took it out and put it where? I don't understand it either. The manager called me back and said if I wanted to purchase the shampoo and conditioner again and bring them a receipt they would reimburse me for that purchase. But that means I'm still out of $60 for the original purchase and I paid $150 for a good dashboard wipe down, vacuuming and my original complaint was not addressed. Not to mention the burn in my seat. Waste of money. I could have done better and saved a ton by doing it myself.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kimberley O.Woodstock, GA1424821Aug 17, 2020
First time visiting. Asked for inside/outside cleaning, rainX, stain removal on seats. A hand wash was suggested. They got the seat stains (coffee and water marks) out however, I think I would've gotten a better exterior wash running through the tunnel. They body/paint had several large missed spots. None of my glass was touched and neither were mirrors (front and back). Tires looked decent.

Do not go here. It started with the manager yelling at an older lady because she wanted why she was paying for. This was happening in front of a lobby full of people. Than I watched the automotive service people (apparently a separate company) mislead two people about air filters. Bedsides the rude shady people the car was was straight garbage. I pointed out a few things that they missed before I paid them. The person doing the interior did take care of the issues. But once i got in the car and drove away i notice the driver window was not washed the center console was not washed a major section of the dash board was not wiped down. The cup holder still had crumbs in it. It's hard to tell from the pictures but this place did a terrible job. I plan to go back tomorrow and have them re-wash the interior Based on how the neophyte manager treated the older lady it will be a long day.

I went to Town Lake Car wash on 9/6 to have my car detailed. When I gave them my Visa card to pay for the service, they told me my card had been declined, so I put the charge on my American Express.
When I got home, I called Bank of America regarding my Visa card they had declined. They told me that they had not declined the card. So I checked my Visa account and Town Lake Car wash had charged my Visa $100 even though they said the card had been declined.
I trusted them when they said it was declined and put the charge on my AMEX card. Now I have paid $200 for a $100 car wash detail.
I have disputed the charge on my Visa.
So if you decide to use Town Lake Car Wash be very careful with your credit card. From my experience, this is a really bad thing they are doing to customers. I will never use them again and I will NEVER recommend them.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
