I absolutely love this place! I've been here for lunch 3 times this past week :-)
They have great lunch specials, which is a big reason why I come! They are $9.99 and you get a big portion of food!
Their lechon asado (roasted pork) is amazingggg! I always get it with yellow rice and black beans.
I just started coming here, but I'm in love. Knocked off one star because I do see gnats at times and it's annoying. Overall, it is clean inside, though.
Customer service is great as well. Try this place out if you haven't already!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Rashida M.Fairburn, GA0514Jan 28, 2024
I haven't done a review in a while. This place blew my mind. I looked it up in Yelp, after reading a few reviews I was sold. The only draw back for me was the lengthy time of the reviews. 3 months and great. I still decided to check it out.
Upon arrival the parking lot showed potential. Walking in everything was just as the pictures. The greeter was super friendly with a beautiful smile. Just as mentioned in the reviews the band was setting up. After being seated our server came and took our drink order. Again big smile and pleasant demeanor.
I had the signature mojito with guava. I promise this is the drink of choice. We also ordered the sampler appetizer. I truly apologize for not getting a picture. Which was again better than expected. The portions were perfect for two people and more.
The band was awesome the atmosphere great. It was a perfect place for a good clean time. Now when the food came...OMG!
I ordered the Arrozz Mariscoto, my guest ordered the Oxtail with black beans and yellow rice. The smell, the flavor, the texture was perfect. This location you can trust the pictures. I will be back!
I know I got the name of the dish wrong, but I tried
Yes the band was great! Had people off their feet dancing and even I was clapping.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Christian R.Clifton, NJ680232Apr 1, 2024
Read the reviews and followed the trail. Pretty good size. Place needs a little updating. The food made up for the decor. Usually try drinks and appetizer to get a sense of taste. The drinks were a little disappointing. Had a Sangria and a Mojito. The Sangria lacked flavor. Tasted like watered down wine. The mojito needed a little kick. Started with the Trifongo as an appetizer. Ful of flavor, you could taste the garlic and yuca mixed with the plantains.
Moved in for the main course. Hemingway Chicken. Had tostones with white rice. The helping was only two of the tostones. Misunderstood as a salad included as well. The tostones were crispy and fully cooked. The rice was well cooked and fully popped. The chicken was well cooked, mushroom cheese sauce flavorful was a great addition. Definitely excited to try this place again.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Anne H.Peachtree Corners, GA05Apr 3, 2024
¡Me encanta Tortugas! Cinco estrellas

Hubby brought us here for dinner after trying it first with his coworkers at lunch a few days before and really enjoying the food. Everything we ordered was very flavorful. Hubby had Lechon Asada at lunch previously and insisted I get it for dinner. It was very tender and delicious. He opted for the Palomilla Steak and although he really enjoyed the flavor, the meat was overcooked and chewy/tough - it's hard to cook steak that is that thin. I had flan for dessert and enjoyed the strawberry sauce that accompanied it on the plate. It was a nice change of pace to chocolate. Service was great and when we dined the restaurant was empty, but as we were leaving three groups were getting seated. We enjoyed a cocktail each and they were tasty but a bit on the weak side, nothing to complain about - just a note for those who prefer stronger drinks. We look forward to returning, but will probably steer clear of the "thin cut" beef dishes.

I love this place so much. Every time we come here the service is fantastic and anything that we order is muy delicioso! Usually the Hemingway chicken is a little bigger and before our food even came out the manager told the cook (who is new) to make us more chicken. The Churassco steak is their specialty dish and I would fully recommend it. It is so goooood. It is my favorite dish so far but everything here is good. The tres leches is yummy and the authentic Cuban coffee is so good. I'm telling you, you really can't go wrong here. They do have live music in certain nights which is in but you can dance to the music at any point in time as the dance floor is wide open. It is a full experience at Tortugas so if you're close by and ready to eat I would recommend stopping in

Parking is plentiful and free. The food comes out very quickly and is perfectly seasoned. I got the mofongo appetizer and the lechón asado lunch special. Prices are ridiculously good, and the portions are generous for what you pay. Service is friendly. Sad it took me so long to try this place out but i think it's fantastic. Would love to come back and try everything else they have to offer.

We visited on a Saturday night when Cubana Song performed. They have lovely voices. It was a fun and lively atmosphere with people dancing. The food was average for us. I ordered the jerk chicken and my friend ordered another chicken dish. Both dishes had dry chicken. Hers was dry but had a good flavor. Mine was dry and lacked flavor. I unfortunately had to send it back. The yellow rice and beans were good. I did enjoy the empanadas. The were nice and crispy. The meals and appetizers are reasonably priced.

Excellent service and food! We went on a Tuesday for lunch and everything is fantastic. The empanadas trios, Cuban sandwich, stewed oxtails and fried fish are all amazing. Every tasted amazing and the waitress was super nice and attentive. Must try!

I had a great experience here! This was my first time visiting Tortugas Cuban Grill
The location is great and easy to find. There is plenty of parking as this restaurant is located in a plaza. The ambiance inside is chill, very comfortable, and clean.
I ordered the mofongo with plantains and chicken. The chicken was seasoned SO well! The mofongo was delicious too. I wanted to try a few drinks, getting the Malta and guanábana drink. Both of which were great.
The service was awesome and professional. Our server answered any questions I had about the menu with a friendly demeanor.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0
