Love the food. Quesadilla el pastor is my favorite. Found them after they moved from 17th and Baker.

We got the pork knuckles, a taco, and a torta ahogada. The same delicious carnitas filled the taco and the torta. Both were drenched in a medium spicy, thin broth. The knuckles came with a tostada smeared with frijoles. We ate on a bench near tel he car was in our laps but the food was so good. This meal for two was $25 which I suppose is ok given the quality but there are no prices anywhere so you just pay what the guy says to pay. One star deduction for that.

No no a good place tacos dorados quemados and if you said something to them they get upset and no good service

The Tacos Trompos are the absolute best!! The food servings for the Tacos Trompos come in 3 or 4 and they're a great size! I highly recommend Tortas Ahogadas La Guera!!!

3.5 stars for sure. Would have been 4 stars if the salsa didn't come in a plastic bag. A little difficult to pour without making a mess. Salsa was good btw.

I was around the area on a Saturday and decided to try it out since I was hungry. I ordered 2 asada tacos 1 Buche and 1 carnitas taco. I was the only person there at 11:15am so I figured it wouldn't take long for me to get my food, 10 minutes later a group people showed up and I thought to myself "well they might be making it fresh, so at least it'll be hot when I get it" instead when I finally got my food and took the first bite of my carnitas taco 20 mins later after ordering, it was cold as ice.

I was extremely disappointed and upset at the fact that I was kept waiting for 20 mins for 4 tacos that were cold (meat's) not tortillas because those were warm, and the Buche was extremely chewy and cold as well. The only meat that was hot was the asada but even those lacked in flavor, the salsa was spicy but no flavor, the only thing I tasted was the flavor of the tortilla which was not good either, had the same flavor as the store bought tortillas Guerrero.

I feel like I was served yesterday's meat and they didn't even bother covering up for it, I don't mind waiting for good food made on the spot but when you make some one wait for 20 mins and serve them cold meat's, that is just unacceptable. Maybe I should've gotten the tortas since that is what they are known for. I won't be coming back for more.

Everything is delicious I am from Guadalajara and had tried so many tortas ahogadas.. they are lack of flavor or the sauce has a lot of condiments. I have been buying tortas ahogadas la Guera since they were tortas ahogadas los primos and now La Guera. Definitely recommended.. and the service is always excellent. They always makes your feel as a fam.
