Top Cash Pawn

Folks that follow me on Yelp know I'm somewhat of a bargain shopper. If I'm out in Austin, I hit every pawn shop I can find. Sometimes (OK always) you find the junk; other days I find a treasure for a decent price.

High end watches are usually my game plus some interesting old world jewelry for the wife. Hey, you never know what your gonna find. I've actually made some purchases for Christmas gifts at this Top Cash Pawn last year.

I ventured in a few days ago and after viewing the entire store I finally (among the sea of crap) a gun that caught my fancy. Lets review here. Born and raised on a 100 acre ranch; shot a gun as early as 5 years old. Not an avid collector; but I let a .22 pistol go when I shouldn't have

Just came in to look and absolutely found an amazing ring that I fell in love with and couldn't let go. A woman by the name of Nicole helped me and was very helpful, very nice also she helped me get my ring for a GREAT price. No body asked me for a review either, just naturally good service.

I would put no stars but one is the lowest option.
They will gaslight the hell out of you to bring in your stuff to get it looked at then go straight for offering you a quarter of what they quoted.
Even had the audacity to lie and say there's one on eBay way cheaper while I had the current cheapest eBay option opened up on my phone.

Very nice, clean and helpful staff. When I've called in looking for a particular item they are sure to check the store and other locations to help you find what you are looking for. They are very well informed on the most up to date items so they won't sell you something that isn't in excellent working conditions. I've sold some items in the past and bought from this location. Each time has been a positive experience. I would definitely recommend them for used electronics, instruments, and jewelry.

Yes bought a laptop from this store dead equipment computer is slow as hell spent $180 I guess that's why they don't have a return policy.... not happy about my purchase at all.

These guys are fraudsters. Beware of the Craig's List bait & switch. Travelled all the way down to south Austin just to find out they were trying to sell a router for the price of an airport Time Capsule. Total BS.

I visited does pawn shop last night at about 7:15 p.m. I showed up with a smart TV which did not have the remote. I also had an Xbox 360 I wanted to pawn. I am a single mother with a six-year-old and was in a bind. I was only trying to get 20 2 $40 to get us through the next few days. They watched me carry it all in and then proclaimed they are not taking smart TVs or Xboxes at this time. The gentleman helped me carry the television out and then they went inside and were laughing. They then locked the doors and started closing. I am completely disgusted please don't shop here.

I saw Store #2 (Brianna) Craigslist ad for a pictured YELLOW GOLD
Christmas Tree Charm and asked her to hold it for my son to pick up
for me. NO where in the ad did it say the color but when my son brought it to me it was 925 SILVER. The manager, Daniel, told
me yes it DOES appear yellow in BOTH photos but your son shouldn't have bought it as no where in the ad does it state what color/type gold it was so I was out of luck. I then contacted the Slaughter Ln. Store and spoke to Denise who told me she contacted the upper management and he said I was out of luck because it wasn't their fault that my son bought it and that I couldn't rely on photos due to lighting issues! Yet, I have the photo and ALL admitted it is clearly portrayed as Yellow Gold. And still they'd do nothing about it. A poor way to run a business -- but lesson learned; I'll never return! They'd rather a poor review than to have a satisfied customer; I would have welcomed store credit or partial refund but I got absolutely nothing. I should be able to rely on the photo for an accurate photo. I understand lighting issues but this one is clearly YELLOW GOLD. Oh well....lesson learned. I did read yelp reviews before my purchase but decided NOT to heed their advice.....you'd do well to heed MY advice and avoid Top Cash Pawn.

Walked into Top Cash Pawn a few weeks ago and was immediately greeted by the sales staff and directed to the loan counter. I needed a quick loan on my Macbook to help out one of my friends, and I was helped quickly and given top dollar for my computer. The one month free interest is really helpful as well. The staff was professional and fast, and the manager Denise was especially kind and knowledgeable. I will definitely be coming back next time I need a loan!

Best pawn shop in Austin. Went in just to look and ended up finding he most gorgeous ring. The selection was incredible and the staff was super friendly and nice! The manger Denise was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and sweet! Prices are good and everything is negotiable. They really want to help you get whatever it is you need/want. Between the amazing staff and great selection I will definitely be back soon!
