Bar none-the best roofing company. Why?

1. Safety. They came today and I've seen roofers take unbelievable risks. As a homeowner that is not acceptable. They have two people and a roof safety system.

2. Quality. I've never had such clean gutters! They emptied, washed and then cleaned up the mess on the ground.

3. Service. They answer the phone. They send you text messages to confirm. They show up on time.

They are not the cheapest. But your home is an investment and they treat it that way.

Tom Leach roofing has been the only roofers to work on our home since we've lived here which is a very long time (1974) Our roof had a total tear down this time of which it needed. The crew was here everyday and worked all day in the heat. And a nicer bunch of guys, hard working guys you just won't find. Right here I have to mention Juan & Aaron. Juan is the crew boss and brings so much to the business. Aaron is the owner and always available if need be. The mess was cleaned up daily and even more so on the last day. I actually enjoyed them being here even though it got noisy from time to time. Highly recommend.

These guys were great to work with. They did the work between the rain and ice storm and replaced the roof in 2 days. Cleanup was great. Did not find a single nail in the driveway!

Ours was not a simple, straightforward job. The cedar shake roof was the original roof on my 47 year old home. A few extra little roofs here and there - a woodshed - a garage. 5 skylights. Our driveway is steep with a turnaround that's fine for cars, but challenging for anything else.

I got 5 estimates. Tom Leach was not the cheapest, but also not the most expensive. I like the warranty. I like that all of my questions were answered. I like that this is a local company and they have their own crew.

It took a bit longer than anticipated due to rain, the challenging driveway and limited space, and the fact that the original owner used larger than usual nails on the shingles (hard to remove).

They did a stellar job! Cleaned up every night. Left everything in great shape. No harm to plants or trees. All of the roofs look great!

Worst customer service of any local company I've dealt with in the last 10 years. Don't follow through on calling back or sending emails. Not great at answering the phone (answered 2 of 8 calls during business hours over the course of four weeks).

You get a business card from one of their estimators, and it has the same generic office phone number and a generic email address - so back into the worst game of one-sided phone tag.

After five total weeks of trying to work with them, we finally get a bid. We ask one question, and despite being respectful and trying to be patient after not receiving multiple emails that they were supposed to send, the estimator backed out on the job.

Had to have an ounce of trust in them.

I've seen other people posting about the horrible experiences they've had.

Maybe you'll get lucky but considering how communication from contractors can be hit or miss, this was one of the worst experiences that I've EVER had.

Proceed at your own risk. Stetchy.

Tom Leach Roofing replaced my roof last April. I got several estimates and theirs was competitive with the others. They gave me a list of roofs they had done, and I drove around to look at the colors, which was super helpful (much easier to pick from a real roof than from a tiny sample on a board!).

I wanted to be home when they did the roof, and they were flexible about doing the roof at a time when I could be there. Juan and his crew were there and ready to start each morning at 8:00. They were very pleasant and answered my relentless questions. They cleaned up at the end of each day. The roof looks great and I haven't had any problems, and the total cost was exactly what Aaron estimated.

It's taken me awhile to do my review, but I rely heavily on Yelp and Angie's List, so I think I should be posting reviews on the stuff I do too, especially this big ticket stuff.

Do not use their services, stay away from this business.
Unprofessional, trying to raise the price after agreed quote, delayed work for months, starting to work before my approval.

Thankful to Aaron of Tom Leach for diagnosing the problem with the gutters on the Emerson Street House.

Tom Leach did the roof on the house that was ultimately deconstructed due to black mold and no rebar in the Foundation. I wish the Design/Build Contractor that constructed the Emerson Street House had used Tom Leach to install the roof. I am thinking we would not be having problems now.

His quote was on the lower side. If you want a reliable, honest, meticulous person/people to work on your roof, this is it. Just did my roof, and very happy.
