Tin Lizzy's Cantina - Atlanta

Woo hoo for a place that stays open late!!! We came to Tin Lizzy's after a Brave's game and we were desperate for some food. We saw they were open late and decided to give it a shot. And let me say for being served at around 11:30-12 this was awesome and I am so grateful they served us with such grace!!

I ordered the classic margarita to drink and we got the chips and queso to starts. The chips are gtg eat and seasoned and the queso was delicious. To eat, I got the chicken quesadilla which was also awesome! They have a great patio and here and I would love to try it again at a normal hour!! Woo hoo for Tin Lizzy's!!

Met up with a colleague here and it was okay. Free parking in the garage and in front of the restaurant which is a bonus.

It was our waiters bday and let's just say she could have just not came to work. She didn't check on us regularly and we frequently had to ask other staff for service. She did the bare minimum unfortunately.

The quality of the food was decent. We each had a skinny margarita and they were okay, couldn't taste much alcohol and my colleague had to get their re made.

The guacamole and shrimp were good, and I'd definitely go back for some more buffalo shrimp. The mango shrimp quinoa bowl on the other hand wasn't anything to write home about. Overall, the quality of food was decent but still better than the service. I would probably give it another shot honestly and understand that it was her birthday so she was trying to chill lol.

Hallie was our Server, yet Chris (AGM) aka Super Man (says his belt buckle) stepped in to accommodate my Vegan/Allergy needs. More so, he circle-backed a few times to ensure we were good.

I like that TL's offers a Vegan option with the Impossible Tacos. Yet, would rather see the filling crumbled as opposed to a patty sliced up...it was good nonetheless. My Daughter had the Mahi Mahi tacos which she enjoyed due to the freshness & preparation. We can literally eat their signature/seasoned tortilla chips non-stop, hence the bag we took home. All I need now is a Sangria option without liquor & it could be Taco Tuesdays every day.

Aside from the plethora of taco combinations, the menu offers salads/bowls, finger foods - quesadillas, nachos, shrimp, wings, tots, a sole tortilla soup, a few combo plates for the Kiddos & desserts.

Great patio (enclosed) vibes with plenty of seating & umbrellas. Echoing the parking options with the garage behind the restaurant, a few spaces at the drive-up ATM & a handful of spaces up front that are "designated" for take-out or accessible needs.

Easy on pockets for good portions, great customer service & an energetic social scene.

This last visit was for a work event and the buffet had quality ingredients and a range to satisfy vegetarians also: beef, chicken, black beans, rice, queso, shredded cheese, tortillas, salsa, chips, pico, guacamole, leafy greens, sour cream, and a number of dressings. Service was friendly and stayed on top of refills. The patio area was comfortable despite being December about 50F due to being mostly enclosed. The glass and concrete made for a very noisy environment.

I was browsing yelp to find a place to watch the Georgia vs. Alabama game this afternoon when I came across this cantina leas than a mile away. I walked in without a reservation and was seated immediately. My server, Jimmy, was nice and brought water and took my appetizer order quickly. Service was super quick and the HOT MESS was so delicious. The meat portion was generous too considering the low price. I drank a peach margarita made with casamigos and that was great. For my main course J tried to Philly Cheesesteak taco and Buffalo Chicken taco-- good but not as good as my appetizer lol. There were plenty of tvs so it was easy to see the game. I will definitely return.

My boyfriend and I want to like this place. We really do. The food is good, and so are the drinks. But the service is always lacking. We live within walking distance so this place is very convenient - that's why we have continued trying. EVERYTIME we go, service is VERY slow. Busy or slow we have gone 15-20 mins sometimes longer without seeing our server. To the point where one time we left empty handed after 25 mins of not seeing our server and trying to get someone's attention. And no one noticed (we hadn't even ordered waters...) As someone who spent years in the service industry I understand people have their nights. But after 5 times of trying and different servers, I think we will just have to drive somewhere further for better service. If they can fix the service issues, I would be giving a 5 star review. :/

Surprisingly this was my first time at Tin Lizzy's. Was in the area and was craving tacos so we decided to try this. It is a bit hard to find, but it is right next to the Truist bank. There's a small parking lot attached but it's probably easier to park in the lot adjacent and walk.

We came on a Saturday at around 3pm and were seated rather promptly. It wasn't too packed so we were serviced right away.

I ordered three tacos:

Low Country Boil 8/10
Korean BBQ Pork 7/10
Steak and Philly Cheese 9/10

All of the tacos were extremely good, so don't let the ratings deter you. The low country boil and steak and Philly cheese were definitely my favorite.

Ordered the freaky tiki as a drink and it was good, but either it wasn't strong or I'm a heavy weight! So if you're looking for something strong, I'd choose something else but it was a nice drink for a Saturday afternoon.

I'm looking forward to coming back and trying more drinks and tacos!

This is a pretty good location. The parking lot is very small so you'll probably have to park in the bank parking lot. Service is great, fast & friendly. Everyone was so nice that we encountered. I got the nachos without meat because I'm a vegetarian and they were swinging! I wish they had more vegetarian options but you can always get something without meat and try to ask for extra beans and whatnot. The margs are pretty pricey and weak for what you pay.

Conveniently located across from Perimeter Mall. Good food. Weak drinks, tasty but weak. Slow service, I had to get up and find a server to take our order after waiting 20 minutes. I was thirsty. At least come bring me some water. The kale and mushroom quesadillas is my go to. I forgot to take a pic of it but TRUST, you want it in your mouth! The jalapeño margarita was flavorful and pretty, that's it. It had no real kick to it. My daughter ordered a kale and mushroom taco, she said it didn't do what needed to be done. The server was nice and took it off the tab, not because we asked him to, but because he was observant and noticed she didn't eat it. He earned some additional tip $$ for that.

There is a free parking garage right next to this location. I thought it was convenient until I got back to my car after leaving the restaurant. Someone had busted the window of the car right next to me and stole items out of the car. Glass was everywhere. Police were all around looking for whatever they were looking for. I probably won't park in there again, because I am spooked a bit. That aside, parking is convenient.
