Fantastic visit to the winery. Arrived on a Sunday afternoon and Robert hooked us up with a couple of bottles and a deck of cards, we sat on the patio and enjoyed the wine and friendship. Robert then gave us a tour of all the plants and trees on the property. I have been to many wineries but never have I felt as welcome as this one. Great wine if you get a chance stop by and see Robert.

It was a random house in the back of a neighborhood. When we called they said hi we asked about a tour and they hung up.

WARNING! Tastings are $22 per person (which was not disclosed up front), and it's all muscadine wine... definitely an acquired taste (I think it tastes like vinegar). We arrived during regular business hours but no one was there. I called the phone number and they said someone would be there in 10 minutes. So we waited for someone to arrive and open up... unfinished facilities with ants. Pretty unprofessional for a $44 tab.

Impossible to get ahold of. Called multiple times on different days and no answer. When they called back, it rang once and ended. I called back and again no answer. Wine was pretty gross because of the strong vinegar taste

Went with a large group. They were very generous with their pours. When you first get there, the spot looks odd but it's behind their home I surmise. Good muscadine wine.

**Review based on ordering during COVID-19**
My BF and I weren't able to visit the winery so we ordered bottles from their site.
I'm definitely not a wine expert but here's my impressions:
Magnolia - This wine was my favorite!!! It's a sweet white wine.
Noble - Another sweet wine and my second favorite. Slight apple cider vinegar (ACV) aftertaste.
Noble Rosé - I prefer sweeter versions of Rosé and this one was not. There was a strong ACV aftertaste. I love ACV but it may be a bit tart for someone who doesn't like it.
Carlos - This is the red wine. I can't give a fair review because I prefer white wine.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 1012281082Jun 3, 2017
A winery in our backyard... A pleasant surprise at an affordable price... Heading home to enjoy our wines... We called at 6:10pm after the suggested close time in hopes of them being open. The owner stayed open late for us and gave us a history and tour. If you are in the area give him a call he may be working in the vineyard but he will meet you. It was a lovely surprise to find this local business. Tilford winery has great tasting wines for all taste buds. I will be back with friends for another wine tasting...

The people were very charming . But the wine was the worst I ever tasted in my life it was not drinkable. I think there wines are made to be cooked with. It's has a vingear tastes that will make you throw. I will never order from them again
