Shout out to three of cups winer. If you haven't been here, please come in and check it out! Lisa has a great selection of wines to taste and buy for later. We just had the 2017 Le Bateleur (cabernet sauvignon Red Mountain) and as always an excellent one to have with dinner.
Although we no longer live in Washington state, it was a winery we refused to let go when we moved away. The wine we just enjoyed was on our fall allocation. Every they come out with a new blend or two to get excited about.

Lovely tasting room in Woodinville! We visited Three of Cups last weekend for some wine tasting, where there's something for everyone here.
Because of COVID-19, we called ahead of time to ask if we needed to make reservations. They allowed us to visit the tasting room half an hour before closing and dogs are allowed! The tasting room is in the north industrial area, so parking is super easy and is walkable to other tasting rooms. When we arrived, almost all of the tables were taken. Busy Saturday!
The tasting flight included eight different wines! Since they were happy to reopen, they mentioned that they were allowing visitors to try all of their wines, so it was a big win for us to visit when we did. There was one white, one rose and six different reds. As with a typical tasting, the lighter wines were tasted before the more bold ones. I liked the last four wines we tried, with le bateleur/the fool, a cabernet sauvignon from the Red Mountain region as my favorite. It had a more savory, pepper taste, which I like in reds.
Three of Cups offered great wines to try, with a good range of different types of wine. Again, something for everyone to enjoy here! We also loved how friendly the staff were. You'll feel welcomed here. Glad to have checked it out.

Fast forward 3 years and a never-ending pandemic since I stood in the parking lot and told my husband I wanted to join this wine club.... And we continue to be happy happy club members!
After trying a number of wineries in Woodinville Three of Cups continued to stand out for us. We loved the wine, the vintners made us feel like family, and they just seemed to embrace the Woodinville community.... We'd see their name for events, Purple bought one of their wines for their restaurant (bummer for us because it sold out before we realized life was not complete without a case, but hurray for Three of Cups!)
The wine club is one of the more flexible set ups we've seen (you pick 3, 6, or 9 bottles two times a year).
Ironically, we joined the club to get some date nights on the release parties and between, last minute changes, and COVID, we haven't made it to an event!
HOWEVER! We did participate in a great joint Mystery dinner event between Three of Cups and Chef Anne Marie. This was a great date night in. We thoroughly enjoyed our mystery meal - as well as the wine!
Looking forward to being part of this great community for many years to come.

This was an adorable, bright tasting room. Some original paintings on the walls. Lisa, one of the owners was lovely and personable. We enjoyed everything we tasted - one white blend and 6 reds! This is a small-ish, local business looking for new opportunities. We hope to continue supporting them in the future.

Have been here several times. The owners are always onsite and pouring wine. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Many wines to choose from. We liked the SB and the Grenache best. Bought a few bottles which were reasonable price wise.

My wino friends and I love this place! The wines are quite good and reasonably priced, especially for Woodinville. Mike and Lisa are great. They treat us wine club members very well.

Wonderful place to wine taste with a variety of wines! Also on the Woodinville Wine Passport! We had bought a bottle of their wine at Purple before, so it was great to actually visit the winery and taste more of what they had to offer. Our fav was The Star or L' Astre which was a Syrah. Def recommend a visit, or more. :)

We found this place through the Woodinville Wine Pass. They are pet friendly.
This place really knocked our socks off. One of the ladies serving us was one of the co-vintners, and we made it a point to tell her what a great job she had done. The service was friendly and accommodating, even after I accidentally broke a wine glass, they replaced it and graciously said it happens and didn't sweat it. I was impressed.
Now, the wines. When it comes to wine we are picky. We don't drink a lot, and we have acquired a fair amount so it takes a lot for us to even buy one bottle. That said, we were amazed at the quality, especially given the reasonable prices. We are seriously considering their wine club even though it's been over a decade since we were in one.
The Grenache, the GSM, the Cab, the Malbec and the Syrah were so good we had to buy all of them. I cannot overstate how good they were. The noses were soft, the bodies flavorful and the finishes all smooth. Rarely have I seen one single winery get so many different varietals right. I hope they keep doing what they are done. The price-point of $18-25 was a bargain for the quality of these wines.
We will definitely be back!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Amanda N.Bellevue, WA479777712Feb 20, 2021
Really great service! You get to pick 6 wines to try and they're very generous to allow you to revisit. I would absolutely recommend the rose. Smells like cotton candy but actually tastes much drier.

We visited Three of Cups on a rainy Sunday. The wine maker/owner, was in the back crushing grape when we walked in the tasting room. He is super friendly and gave us a tour of his warehouse and showed us the equipments, and also explained the wine making process and science to us. He even let us taste the fresh grape juice coming out of the impressive machine. It was the sweetest and most delicious grape juice I've ever had! This is such a fun and wonderful experience to me. I really enjoyed it and won't forget for a long time!
We tasted all the wine varieties they offered, and we like most of them. Most of them are red varieties, but we did like their white wines too!
We are happy to see they stay on the wine passport for 2018. We will visit again soon!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0
