We craft wines that are terroir-driven with luscious, complex fruit. We focus on balance and restraint, so our wines age very well. Like many of the most respected wineries in Europe, we release wines a bit later than most so they have time to rest, integrate, and express their fullest flavor complexities. Host your next event in the unique, warehouse-chic atmosphere of The Woodhouse Wine Estates! We have the luxury to offer you the flexibility to transform our extraordinary space into your perfect vision; whether you are planning a Corporate Event, Fundraiser or Rehearsal Dinner, the Woodhouse event space is the perfect place for you and your guests.

Great space, A-OK wines. The Woodhouse Wine Estates offers four different wines for their tasting, which my friend I thought were fine. Nothing was too memorable, but we enjoyed the large, outdoor space that they've set up during COVID-19.
We came here on a weekday for some afternoon wine tasting, which was nice since there were only two other parties in the large tent. And when I say large, I mean, a tent for large parties and weddings. They've set up in the front parking lot. However, when we went inside to check in, it also looked spacious indoors. Something tells me this place knows how to throw a party.
They don't take reservations; however, for passport holders, they only allow tastings Wednesday - Friday. The employee who helped us was friendly and gave us decanters of the four wines to try for both my friend and me. We tried a riesling and three reds. I know I'm not a white wine fan, but as soon as I tasted the riesling it was incredibly tart and fruity, from the mango and pineapple flavors. I do love mango and pineapple, but it was hard for me to taste more of this wine. I ended up just having that one taste. The reds were better. For the reds, we tasted a cab sauv, a syrah and a red blend. Of all the reds, I enjoyed the red blend, which I wasn't sure was comprised of since the tasting menu indicates the tasting notes rather than the make-up of the wine. Yet, it was bold and far more robust than the other reds. The other reds were on the lighter side.
Glad to have checked out Woodhouse, as I had not heard about it until I saw it on the passport. Plus, it's next to other tasting rooms, with a large parking lot north of the Hollywood District. Although I found most of their wines on the lighter side, I can see myself coming back for when they host events post-pandemic. Looking forward to it then.

This business doesn't want your business.
Due to the pandemic and with some wineries extending their Woodinville Wine Pass, we checked the website for every place we visited before we went. When we went to Woodhouse's website there was no notice anywhere on it about special restrictions for the Wine Pass.
Overall we've found very few places that were not Wine Pass compliant. This was one of them.
When we walked up there was a hand drawn sign in front proclaiming that Wine Passes would only be served during limited weekday hours on certain weekdays, Wednesday-Friday from 12pm to 5pm. Um, hello? That's when people are working. So they are going to only offer the Woodinville Wine Pass holders admission for something they paid for and something the winery gets money for during a time when hardly anyone can make it?
Shame on you! We will consider coming back if the management contacts us and apologizes and reverses this nonsense. The lady running the tasting room felt a little bad and offered us a 2 for 1 tasting coupon, but that is insulting as we had already paid for 2 Woodinville Wine Passes, which means some of that money went to the winery. So they basically wanted to triple charge us. I will be contacting the Wine Pass and letting them know this winery is not compliant. What's absurd is their supposed rationale is that they're "too busy" with the COVID restrictions to be serving second-class customer Wine Pass holders on the weekend. Not only is that offensive, but it wasn't true. The place was dead empty when we got there, with maybe 1 or 2 other people in the entire large tasting tent. But instead of acting like business people they held to their silly ad-hoc policy and wouldn't serve us.

Stopped here on a Saturday. They have ample parking and some in the shade. We ordered 2 different tastings and really enjoyed the wine. The staff brought our dog water since it was a little warm. The patio plenty of shade with their big umbrellas. We bought their Malbec and it is so tasty. They have food but we didn't sample any that day. We will be back to visit because you can avoid the crowds here.
This shares the same parking lot with Sumerian Brewing Company so you can really make it a good afternoon getting wine and beer.
Thank you again for a great afternoon!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Amie B.San Francisco, CA02Apr 16, 2023
We were able to throw the most lovely rehearsal dinner for my son and his fiancé! The venue is beautiful with plenty of space, and large kitchen/serving area to make catering easy. The service was wonderful too. Francine was awesome to work with- making sure everything went smoothly, and that we were able to provide the perfect evening for all of our family and friends. The wine was lovely as well-wish we could have had a white option, but it was sold out for the season. This was everything we wanted, and the price was affordable! I highly recommend The Woodhouse Wine Estates for your next event.

Pretty good wine, and nice music. They have cheese plates available too, but it is a bit pricey. Love the outdoor seating area- people brought their dogs. Wish there were some vegan snacks-- I do not think outside food is allowed. Sometimes they have live music as well. Didn't talk to the staff too much when we were there.

I really love this space - they offer very good wines and have live music and performances on their calendar pretty much throughout the year! The folks who work here were very welcoming the couple of times I've been and the tasting is quite generous. While they operate out of an industrial space, once inside you don't feel like you are in a warehouse, but rather a shabby chic country home of sorts. It's hard to resist the Archer jokes when you're enjoying wine at Woodhouse, but they provide a consistently fun experience that will have you smiling from your first taste regardless!

One of our favs from the 2018 passport to Woodinville. Not one of the "big ones" but definitely not small.
Large warehouse style tasting room. More elegant than many of the warehouse style rooms we've been to. Large kitchen spave which we've learned is used for events and cooking classes with local chefs.
No outdoor food allowed but a generous meat and cheese platter with gluten free crackers is available to order for $22. (reasonable value)
We tasted 5 wines. 1 white (riesling) moderately sweet. 4 reds. All distinct flavors. Great descriptions provided.
Overall a perfectly enjoyable tasting experience. We'd definitely consider coming again.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - May 8, 2017
I love this place! They have tasty wines, and very helpful staff to give you a tasting! They have outdoor seating, which I love and on Wednesdays they do a late happy hour with live music! They also have local art on the walls which changes all the time and is fun to buy! Great location and lovely spot for a glass of wine!

I forgot how much I loved this place until today. I took a friend that had never been before. I wanted to show her the incredible kitchen they have in the tasting room. Of course we stayed for some wine tasting and of course bought some. The space where the tasting are is so beautiful and elegant but totally cool and warm actually just like the people. They have these chandeliers that are so beautiful they set the relaxed vibe.
This is where I want to have my 40th birthday party it is totally perfect. They also offer cooking classes that they pair their wine for each course. even PIE. We are really so fortunate to have quality wineries in our back yard like this. Under one roof they offer 5 different lables that are all kick butt and they are priced very fair.
Today I bought a killer Hudson Shah 2006 Malbec $16.00 and and my favorite Kennedy Shah 2008Tempranillo $20.00. as my husband would say it was a "value play" @ Woodhouse today.
Go make a date with your man or your girlfriends and experience this super cool winery.
Thank you Donna for being so knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the winery. You made it fun for us.

The Woodhouse Wine Estates is a great place with great people but perhaps doesn't quite have the best ambiance given that it is located in what seems to be a warehouse district which is cause for the one-star deduction. Our group of eight really enjoyed our time at Woodhouse as the last stop on our wine tour.
We were the only people in the tasting room for the entirety of our stay which was rad. The peeps working at Woodhouse were amazingly friendly and patient with our very drunk group. I recommended to the group that we skip the tastings and just order bottles of wine, so that is what we did which turned out to be perfect.
The crowd favorite was the 2010 Kennedy Shah Reserve Tempranillo although the 2012 Kennedy Shah Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon was also delectable.
Can't wait to return with the ginger husband!
P.S. A note for Woodhouse, if you are reading this... I would never have purchased your wine in a store because I buy based on the label when buying unfamiliar wines and your label needs dire assistance, which is a shame because you make kick-ass wine.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0
