Killing it on the gluten free options! I have celiac and they have a separate fryer for corn empanadillas, which made my night. The service was great and the flavors in everything we had were on point! Will be back for sure.

Hello Laura,
Thank you so much for the fabulous review and for having dined at The Voya. Please come check out our brunch one Saturday or Sunday. - Rebecca Y.Irvine, CA628142Sep 8, 2018
Amazing experience, garret the bartender was extremely attentive and we have some dietary needs that he ensured would be taken care of, lots of options for those who are gluten free or even vegan! Food was absolutely delicious, attention to detail and great drinks. Definitely would consider coming back!

This fairly small restaurant is across from Cinemark Century 16, next door to Starbucks. Small parking lot. Quite a few small tables easily movable to accommodate larger parties. Bar and outdoor seating available. One unisex bathroom that's actually decorated nice. Love the partially open kitchen that's located next to the bar. Gluten Free options available.
Our order 8/20/2015:
Kobe Burger: ($17.75) 7oz Kobe Beef, Lettuce, Tomatoes, Pickles, Gruyere cheese on a Brioche Bun served w/ a side of Truffle Oil Fries
Cochinita Pibil: ($19.95) Yucatan-style braised Pork, Pickled Onions, fresh Oranges, Tortilla, Queso Fresco, Creamy Plantain and Cilantro Rice
Ceviche Trio: ($15.75) Cabo (Mahi Mahi, Lime Juice, Mango Puree, Sweet Plantain chip & Habanero), Ahuachile (Cure Prawn in Lime, Pico de Gallo, Avocado, Cucumber), Peruvian (Red Snapper cure in Lime Juice, Pico de Gallo, Cucumber)
White Sangria: ($12) Glass
Affogato: ($6) served with 2 scoops of Vanilla Bean Gelato, shot of Espresso topped w/ Whip Cream & a dash of Coco Powder
I had selected this restaurant for our group before our movie due to its proximity to the theater. It is a little on the pricier side and the decor and atmosphere matches that. The lighting is dimmed and there are little pillows along the bench seating. We weren't sure if we were going to be able to dine there as most of us were in t-shirts & shorts, but we were still seated.
The White Sangria was very fruity and I didn't really taste the alcohol (dangerous!). Very easy to drink, unfortunately, so I had the Asian flush very quickly. I had the Ceviche Trio and selected the Cabo, Ahuachile, and Peruvian options. All very fresh and came with plantain and taro chips. The Peruvian Ceviche was the most tart of all the ceviches (almost too tart for me as I nearly made the sour face). Good thing I had started with that dish first. The Cabo took me by surprise as it was a ceviche on the sweeter side (never had one like that before). The ahuachile is a ceviche that taste more like the ones I'm accustomed to and wasn't too overwhelming. I tried a bite of the Cochinita Pibil and the meat was very tender. Our friends who had the Kobe burger thoroughly enjoyed it and quickly polished off their plates. The affogato was yummy: the ice cream was very creamy and the espresso wasn't bitter. It was a great way to end our meal.
Since the restaurant is so small, it's fairly easy to grab someone's attention when you need something. However, after we got our dishes, no one stopped by to check on us or refill our drinks. I ended up just drinking my BF's. Still would probably come back since it's so close to the movie theater and try other items.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0
