The Ugly Rooster Cafe

I was in the area all afternoon and had packed a lunch but wanted something a little sweet to tide me over, so I walked over to the Cafe and asked what desserts they had. I was told they had some chocolate cake, and that sounded good, so I purchased a slice to go. The price was reasonable, and they got it ready for me real quick. However, it was just okay cake... a bit dry with not a lot of frosting. Perhaps it had been sitting around for awhile. A glass of milk would have been really great right about then.

THAT they have a Chef!!!Fast service!!!Great Food!!!!Do they deliver by Door Dash, Uber Eats, or another company? Also, how much is Catering? At someone's house?

We always enjoy the great things to eat at The Ugly Rooster. The people are very friendly and make you feel welcome.

We come in here every now and then and the food is great! It is always fresh and delicious. The service is wonderful and I love the little store in the back where you pay. It's a great spot. I have to go up to Malta and try that location soon too. The atmosphere is a bit loud as it is set up open like a cafeteria but usually is not too bad.

Very busy almost all the time, and appropriately so. Always good service, interesting and diverse menu, and the best homemade corned beef hash in the area.. The interior local, is a great improvement over the former Malta diner. Gives you the idea that it's warm and inviting.

Food has been great every single time i've been there. The services is friendly and on point, servers are patient and always have great suggestions for new things to try. The vibe is family friendly, safe, and definitely welcoming

Great services although I only ordered two eggs for breakfast. Next time I will try something yummy for lunch.

The Ugly Rooster is the perfect mom-and-pop breakfast and lunch experience! The food is so good, I will definitely come back here anytime I am in the area! Everything is made with love and the service is extremely attentive, infused with small-town care. Diane, our server, was amazing and a pleasure to chat with, what a legend! The Huevos Rancheros and corned beef hash are both a thumb up. The Ugly Rooster is a no-brainer!
