We are from Maine and I would say this was the best lobster I have ever had. It was loaded with meat and the mayo was light and not over done. Service was friendly! There is quite a wait but for a good reason.... it's a great place!

This place was outstanding. The Lobster Quesadilla was the best thing I had over our 5 day trip to Maine. The place has an outstanding vibe and the bar service was great. We went here after a 7 mile hike and we are so happy we did.
Everything we had was great but the quesadilla stole the show. The tortilla was perfectly cooked and the portion was huge!

No Frills but damn good Lobsta! Family owned. Owner out every am bringing in
the fresh ones.
Best Lobster Rolls sooo worth the stop.
Service by family members who get it done
smiling and friendly. Chowder good as well.
Gave a four for the open air patio on busy highway. Always a line though.

My wife and I came here for lunch as the rest of the family went to Acadia to get in some rock climbing (which ended up getting cancelled due to them witnessing another climber fall 20' onto his back before they even got started). Our meal at Travelin' Lobster was excellent.
There was a line, so others must like the place. We got to the front quickly, and ordered. They also have an outdoor patio bar for alcohol. We grabbed a table in the shade and waited for our food to come to us.
We went with a lobster bisque, clam chowder, lobster salad, and a Captain's Vacation, which was Captain Morgan, Sprite, and pineapple juice. Everything was delicious. The lobster salad was 3oz of meat and choice to have it plain or with butter/mayo. I chose plain, and the salad was a bowl of garden salad. They even threw in some blueberries as this is Maine. The soups were hearty and full of flavor.
They have two port-o-potties and also a small shack for selling t-shirts and hats.
Was about $70 including tax for the two of us. I'm always happy to support local businesses.

Pricey, but tasty, Our AirBnb host recommended The Traveling Lobster to us. After 7.5 hours of driving from NY, we decided that a quick stop for a lobster rolls was in order.
The lobster rolls was very good, but for $40 I wish there had been more of it!
We had our two dogs with us and we were able to sit on the patio with the two of them while we enjoyed our lobster rolls.

We had our one and only true lobster dinner experience here and it was a delight! It was a hot day but fun experience. The other items looked great! Also shared some blueberry pie and ice cream. Good stuff!

So far my favorite restaurant for lobster rolls. The clam chowder is delicious. The blueberry pie is *chef's kiss*. Lots of outdoor seating and dog friendly.

Came here three times on vacation because it's THAT good. The atmosphere is laid back and fun. Sometimes they have live music too! Plenty of seating and also dog friendly which is a plus! I got the warm lobster roll and my girlfriend got the chilled one. This thing is PACKED with lobster. Both of ours were delicious. We also split a lobster bisque and it had huge chunks of lobster in there as well. I ordered a hard blueberry lemonade and I wish I could bring a case back to PA with me because it was so delicious. This place lives up to all the hyper it receives.

Probably my favorite of the many roadside lobster shacks on MDI. The lobster roll is solid, but their lobster bisque is my favorite on the island and they have a really solid slice of blueberry pie as well. Seating is all outdoors, picnic-style and lines can be really long at peak times.
