I Love this place!! The Terrace at Chestnut Hill is such a beautiful place inside and out, the grounds are so lovely. This is a really calm atmosphere, all the staff and caregivers are very friendly. Ever since my Aunt moved in, she is never alone unless she wants to be. She settled in quickly. I like the friendly environment, the nurses and administrative staff is very good with her.
It is great to see her now engaging in activities to keep her active and doing things she likes. She loves the entertainment. The staff and caregivers are so great with her and are able to get her to take her medicine everyday. She loves the meals and loves being able to sit and eat with friends. Her room is very nice and because we were able to bring some of her own furniture, it feels like her old apartment. The Executive Director Lisa McDonough is the best at keeping me updated on her progress or any health concerns. She is the best. I highly recommend The Terrace at Chestnut Hill for anyone who needs assisted living.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Rita S.Philadelphia, PA048Feb 7, 2022
So very thankful that I got my aunt out of this place into a wonderful facility. It was nothing but headaches from day 4. Some of the staff were wonderful. The Executive Director was horrible and I filed numerous complaints against this facility about neglectful things that were observed (with proof). Overall, when visiting there wasn't much life to the facility or much participation with residents from family members...the last straw was when the makeshift closet fell and they blamed my aunt and her dementia. They bagged up her items and left them that way for over a week...check on your loved ones if you decide to place them here. Not at all what I expected...Several management and facility name changes in a short period of time says alot. This has to be the worst facility under Bridge Senior Living...

Management is awful. Lower and Upper Management. Don't let the appearance outside fool you. Sheep in wolf clothing. Management don't know to talk to people. Extremely high turnover. They can't keep anyone. Always short on care staff. The food is horrible. Its ALL about the money.
They say they care but those are just words. Their actions speak volumes, very UNPROFESSIONAL. Once Covid-19 came about they got worse. Meaning families were in the dark about things. not transparent, no integrity. PLEASE do your research when it comes to love one. They will tell you what you want to hear to get your MONEY. Once you in, things will be fine, phones calls and emails returned. Everything's is YES ma'am But Once they get comfortable phone calls and emails not returned. It will NOT take long for the leopard to change its spots. Do your research. Turn every rock over, sometimes 2x-3x. look and read all reviews from all yelp, google, etc. Listen to your inner voice, it will never steer you wrong. Don't let the smiles and laughter fool you.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jordana R.Lafayette Hill, PA04Jan 29, 2019
I never write a review, but I am at my wits end, I have to tell my experience here. My brother put a deposit down and paid 1st months rent, a total of 8400.00 for my sister-in-law in November. Unfortunately, she passed away 12/15/18,before moving in. We called The Terrace on the 12/17 to request a refund, and was told it could take a few weeks, but they would expedite, and rush the refund process. As of today, 1/29/19, not only doesn't he have a refund, but after 4 subsequent phone calls, he hasn't received one call back. Friday, I spoke to Lynell, who was very nice and said she would email the 2 people in charge. I called again Monday, and she said she would email them again. I have yet to get a response, and when I tried calling today, the phone kept on ringing...no voicemail , even they say they are open 24 hours a day. It is a disgrace that they are holding on to 8400.00 that's not theirs, with no response or updates, and now I cant even reach them. Tomorrow, will be calling my lawyer, as well as the news, as this is a disgusting way to do business,.
