The Stables

This place has awesome Mexican food. I crave the taco salad and hot sauce. Nachos and burritos are great too. The staff are friendly and inefficient. Nothing fancy, just good bar food and beverages.

Great food and service. You have to try the fried perch dinner. Great proportions and delicious fish. Nice little hometown atmosphere.

The food isn't bad. I think it really depends on what you order. The southwest wrap isn't bad, but the amount of ingredients inside the wrap doesn't seem to fit the $10 I spent to get it. The guy who waited on me was super friendly and had great manners. The older lady, wasn't very friendly at all. I think if you aren't a regular or with a regular, you aren't top priority to her. That's just my take on it. She seemed fine with everyone else inside. They all do a turn around and stare when you walk through the door.
Side note. Use cash. They have a sign by the cash register that they charge 4% to every bill if you use card. They don't say it out loud to you tho.

The staff was friendly, attentive, grateful, and attentive. The food was very good. Had taco fries and could eat them forever. The ambiance is an old-fashioned, small-town bar which I thoroughly enjoyed. Very clean, great booths, dark wood, etc. I would go to Stables again in a heartbeat.

Great place with good food. Normally come on a Thursday for the perch dinner/basket. Have a variety menu with Mexican food, bar food, salads and pizza. If you're ever in Quincy, it's worth a stop.

We had a great meal at The Stables. My wife and a cheeseburger and fries and I had a beef and bean burrito. Very good.

Beer is cold, loaded fries weak but do have. Burgers and rest of meals looked good but don't try. They do have Keno. N

This seems to be the place girls go after trying on wedding dresses since its right next door to one of the biggest wedding dress retailers around. Always groups if girl's here from a wedding party.

Food is decent and service is good. They have great tasting burgers and dogs and if you order a side of frys be warned because its enough to feed 2!

HIGHLY DISAPPOINTING & HIGHLY DISSATISFIED Had the absolute worst and rudest service ever this afternoon here at the stables. The woman was very rude. Kinda tossed/dropped the silverware and menus on the table. NEVER offered a refill. NEVER smiled. And as soon as her daughter and granddaughter came in she started smiling (with her family), and acted like her other tables didn't exist any longer. I highly doubt I'll ever return due her and her awful body language and rude demeanor. Used to be a great place...not anymore!

Small place, but great burgers!!! Been to this place many times and they never disappoint me! Burgers are big and juicy!! Cooked to order! Sadly I can't comment on the rest of the menu... I stick to a good thing lol
