Cute spot to enjoy some good food, refreshing beer and chill :)
The Chicago Dog was delicious! Ingredients were fresh, peppers had a nice kick and the poppy seed bun was yummy. My daughter loved the kids chicken tenders, fries and cherry italian ice. I enjoyed them as well :P
The patio has plenty of seating with tables, chairs and stools. The patio faces the water area, 24 hour fitness and is close to the Kids Climber.
Service was super friendly, helpful in providing recommendations and the food came out fast.
Can't wait to back :)Helpful 8Thanks 0Love this 7Oh no 0 - Nov 30, 2018

Woof woof doggie doggie! Slaw Dogs has a patty melt. Marbled rye, American cheese, double patty and grilled onions get a 5!
Arf arf arf, Slaw Dogs has a Flatbush: sauerkraut, deli mustard, and spicy onions (though I did not find them very spicy). Dogs get a 4. Generous serving -- not a spindly little dog! Ruff ruff ruff, fries were quite good! 5 for the fries! Grrrrrr.....soda was weird and weak......the Stubborn brand tastes odd to me. Gets a 2. Grrrrrowl, disappointing soda. Woof woof wooooof -- sweet server! Nice patio! Fed my pug bites! Overall, it's a tail wag. Bow wow wow ruff ruff!!!Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Ana P.West Hills, Los Angeles, CA1407336Oct 7, 2018
We just love this place. Vegan with allergies here.
Staff is more than on board to have you happy with your orders!
The menu is rockin
We got the Reuben modded for vegan, and the impossible burger with sweet potato fries.
They always have interesting beers on tap.
This is a regular stop for us vegan locals, LOVE!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 286577450Jul 11, 2018
My friend RAVES about the vegetarian dog here. She was craving it so bad so we decided to stop by here as we were walking around the mall.
I ordered the la dog. It sure was tasty! The hotdog had bacon on it and a mayo sauce. My friend enjoyed her veggie dog. We also split an order of garlic fries. These were great to munch on as we were eating our hotdogs. Too bad it was SOOO warm outside, we were sweating! There was only one girl working inside the shop so I felt bad for her! Next time, I'll have to get one of their shakes too. :)Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Ngozi N.Encino, Los Angeles, CA693110Aug 9, 2018
I haven't had a hot dog in more than 5 years, so when my co-workers suggested The Slaw Dogs for a group lunch before the 4th of July, I was down with the cute idea.
I had the the fuh-get-a-bout-it, without olives. It was delicious! Apparently hot dog eats have come a very long way since I was a kid. I felt a little whimsy, simply because I was eating a hot dog. There is something about eating a hot dog that made me feel like a kid again.
I loved it.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Feb 15, 2016
(+) Excellent customer service, staff was very friendly & helpful
(+) Diversity and creativity of the menu, plus ALL DAY breakfast
(+) Discovered how delicious peanut butter is with sweet potato fries (they were out of banana so they subbed those) on the PBBJ
(+) Yelp deal, appreciate the love
(-/+) Patio seating can be a little tight when its crowded, but it's prime people watching real estateHelpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Prianka S.Playa Vista, Los Angeles, CA625260529Dec 3, 2018
We ordered the Reuben and the Korean Fried Chicken.
The KFC is well flavored, hot, and tasty! Worth trying and I'll come back for it. There's a bit of salad at the bottom of the container, which is nice to clear up your palate.
The Reuben- we thought it was a hot dog, but beware- it's actually a sandwich! It has lots of things going on in it, including sauerkraut and a sliced up hot dog, etc. a bit too much going on to be completely honest.
I'd come back for the fried chicken.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Dec 7, 2017
Used to visit the original Slaw Dogs on Ventura ages ago (at a Yelp Elite event, the first time!), but it was super small with not a lot of parking. Cue their spot in The Village at Topanga. The spot is still super small (there is no inside; it's just a stand with a mini-patio), but at least there's parking.
The menu isn't exactly the same and I was bummed to see that they didn't have the Ghost Pepper Dog anymore. We ordered the closest substitute, which is the C4 Dog. It was featured on the Travel Channel and has a Ghost pepper hotlink, habanero pickled onions, jalapenos, sriracha, chili, cheese, pastrami, tots, grilled onion, wrapped in a giant tortilla. That was way more carbs than I was looking for, but, truth be told, it was pretty good!
The way the spot is set up definitely makes it seem like some late night (as late as The Village is opened, that is) drunk eats, or a quick bite as you're cruising by. I do wish they had a real spot; I'd likely find myself there more often.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0
