This review is for Sarah P- a laser tech- who regained my faith in the laser experience at the skin agency when I almost stopped going.
Long story "short", she was extremely comforting, knowledgeable and thorough- she
made my experience actually delightful.
She asked me questions prior to starting about how my results have been and how we can improve them.
I've been getting laser for about 2-3yrs and stopped for about 8 months in between- once coming back a few months ago- my results were almost worse than when originally starting...
As if I wasn't even getting laster, my tech seemed tired and checked out each time I went to her, just a lets get this done- vibe.
And by the Laser gods grace I got Sarah my last appt!
Never in my time at skin agency have I been asked how I like my results and .... If I feel like I can go higher in the laser frequency...
I've never had such great results, the hair that would grow back almost immediately is now sparse and softer just after one session with Sarah P. Which tells me that for 2ish years of just hoping that it's going to die down at someeeee point, i just needed a higher frequency- which I didn't know I could even inquire about..
Also, bravo Skin Agency for finally adding the tip option- maybe now the laser techs will care a bit more about the job they do :)
This is also a lesson for myself to always ask the weird or annoying questions, even when they're trying to get you in and out of that room in 5 min :)
So to conclude,

It is unfortunate that I have to share such an unpleasant experience. Long story short, I previously purchased a package for 3 micro-needling with PRP (used 2 out of 3). I had to delay the 3rd treatment due to iron-deficiency; my doctor told me to stop until my iron level is back to normal. (PRP requires drawing blood). So I was on iron supplements until now, and when I called to book the 3rd treatment, the lady said my package EXPIRED.
This is WRONG & UNFAIR in many ways. 1) EXPIRY date was never mentioned when I purchased the package. 2) If there is an expiry date or extension, there should be some form of communication, but no email or phone call ever received. 3) I haven't used the 3rd treatment yet due to a medical condition.
Overall, I am VERY disappointed. As a previously happy client, I was looking to finish the package + purchase more treatments. The way they do NOT want to honor the 3rd treatment is a DEAL BREAKER. Frankly, I have packages in 3 different medical spas and none of the other medical spas put expiry dates on packages. (That's how reputable medical spas should be!)
** Lesson Learned: Your package/$$ will expire, so buy at your own risk. **

First time here. The place is nice. The receptionist was very kind and welcoming. She answered all my questions and made sure I felt comfortable. I was referred over by my cousin and friends. I booked laser and Dysport. I first got laser done and it was great. The laser specialist was so sweet and made sure I was comfortable. I was nervous but didn't feel a thing.
Now the nurse that applied "Dysport" wasn't helpful or welcoming. It was my first time and I was asking her questions and she seemed bothered an annoyed. I mentioned to her that I wanted Dysport because I had done research and wanted that. She said, fine. When we were done, she said I applied, "Botox". I mentioned to her I wanted to "Dysport" and she looked at me with a face that "she did what she wanted". Bad experience. I won't be coming back At least to get injected. Love this spot! Very reasonably priced laser hair removal compared to Laseraway without sacrificing any quality. The staff is super courteous, efficient, and professional and the appointments start on time. Always clean and may I say hella cute! I mean how cute & luxurious is this lobby pictured??!
I'm 2 treatments and so far so great! I searched quite a bit to find a spa that would be safe for black skin as they're aren't all safe, so I'm happy to have found this spot. I have been here twice. I can't believe I never wrote them a review! The first time I had filler and the second time I just had some Botox. Today I really need both, so I'm going in to see if I can find a nurse to inject me. After coming in and looking at the front office staff, I opted out because I don't want my lips to look like that. I don't understand why women do this to themselves, it looks absolutely ridiculous!! Not the least bit attractive and super fake and distorted!!

I have had great experiences here as for laser hair removal other than the fact the machine overheated and they had to send me from the Downey location to the other. Please keep in mind this can happen as the nurse informed me there isn't a fan for the machine at this location due to a small room. This was an inconvenience as I had let the front desk know if I wasn't going to be seen right away then I could just reschedule. She was texting "the other location" so they can be aware of the situation and when I got there they had no idea and I had to wait.

It was my first time getting lip filler and I had nurse Inesa! She was so great and her she had a gentle hand. She definitely made me feel comfortable and was detail oriented. I couldn't recommend her enough!

This was my first time visiting The Skin Agency and my first time doing micro-needling. To say I was a nervous is an understatement, mostly because so many have told me how uncomfortable it can be.
Maybe I hyped myself up so much that the pain was minimal, or I am just stronger than I realized!
First off- the staff is super nice, I called ahead to ask some questions before booking. They were very helpful and knowledgeable. I scheduled my appointment and the following day a nurse contacted me to do a facetime call to medically clear me- which I really appreciated that step.
Appointment came- I was set to get the micro-needling with hyaluronic acid.
(though I would love to do PRP next time)
I arrived early, Jordyn was my nurse practitioner, and she was really rad! She explained the process, numbed my face, and made me feel at ease. We essentially chatted the whole time.
The actual micro-needling experience wasn't comfy enough to take a nap- but it wasn't as bad as other resurfacing treatments/lasers I've done in the past. In fact this was actually bearable- perhaps the numbing cream was the saving grace, or Jordyn was good at distracting, but regardless- she made the experience that much better.
I am home now 2 hours later and not in pain at all. Of course I look like a bright red lobster- but all in the name of getting rid of my pesky acne scars.
Onward to healing!

Rita is the best. She understands facial structure, and she's so down to earth. She really took her time to answer any questions I had, and makes you feel like you have had a therapy session. Best experience with Botox I've ever had.

Absolutely horrible management. Their equipment broke down during my service. They still charged me full amount and told me to come back another day. I've been trying to get a hold of their management for over a week now. Nobody ever gets back to address any of the issues.
