The Poke Place

It's been awhile since I came out to eat due to COVID-19, finally decided to try this poke place. Customer service was great, and food is yummy! I will come back for this for sure!

3 scoops of protein: shrimp, scallop, and crawfish mix with sweet and spicy sauce! Sides I have edemame, seaweed salad, corn, masago, and spicy crab. Base I ordered half salad and half rice.

This is one of my favorite poke shops!!! The fish always tastes great and they have a large selection of toppings!! Their portion sizes are also HUGE. I've been here maybe about 3-4 times now and never had a bad experience. Absolutely amazing!! I would have taken a photo, but it was so good I just ate it .___. maybe next time, because I will be back!!

Location: Shopping plaza, ample parking. There is some seating outside.

Food: I usually get 3 scoops of fish (the medium) and it's sooo filling, I only finish about half and it's $11-12, could easily share with someone. I like getting half rice and half salad for the base. The spicy tuna and salmon is always delicious. The other ingredients are also fresh as well.

Covid: Employees are masked and limited amt of people allowed inside. Some seating available still outside.

I haven't been to Poke Place for a long time.
I decided to go back and see how's their food taste currently.
I was very impress from the social distancing enforced at the restaurant, the service, and the food.

Social distancing:
Only outdoor dinning.
One way walking arrow guides.
One entrance door and one exit door.
Masks are worn by the staff and has to be worn by the customers.
Hand sanitizers in 2 locations: by the entrance and exit.

Customer Service:
They were welcoming, attentive, and efficient.
One staff was just preparing online orders and other are helping customers and refilling their stations.
They also assist customers in building their bowls by explaining the toppings, sauces, and answer any questions.
Staff made the poke bowl building process very quick and efficient.

Delicious Poke Bowls:
We ordered the large which had 4 scoops of protein of our choice.
The fishes were fresh and the seasoned ones are very tasty.
They have lots of varieties of toppings.
I really like that they still have the sushi rice.
They also put just the right amount of sauces unless requested more.

The one thing that really stood our for me with their toppings was the TEMPURA FLAKES.

When I got home and I started eating my poke bowl, I then realized that there is not a single one poke restaurant that I've been to that has SHRIMP TEMPURA AS ONE OF THE PROTEIN! I really find this a great idea. There are some customer that do not eat the raw fish so they always order shrimp but image if they have SHRIMP TEMPURA for those customers or even CALMARI. (Mind blown)

Also, the serving here is definitely plenty. I didn't finish my bowl for dinner so I ate it for lunch.

I highly recommend this place for poke lovers.

You definitely won't be making a wrong choice choosing to get food from here.
I'm particularly cautious around places serving raw fish product and after coming here numerous times, I can say that never have I had an experience where the fish had a "fishy" taste - which is usually a taste accompanied with fish that has been sitting out for too long.
For $10-12 per person, your getting giant portions of tasty, fresh ingredients- I chose sushi rice, all salmon, avocado, green onion, spicy miso and mayo sauce with furikake and onion flakes. VERY tasty!

Definitely a "regular" go to spot

My absolute favorite poke place! Everything is always fantastic here. I will go out of my way to come here. Always fresh always amazing!

Always quick and easy to place an order. And always delicious. I'm very picky with the tastes and texture of my sushi. This place never disappoints! The staff is really friendly and the place is very clean and organized.

Love coming here for for poke.  We always get the medium with our different types of toppings.  Food is fresh and servers are friendly.  If you don't want to wait in line, I suggest that you order ahead.

First time trying TPP and it was definitely a positive experience. I got the large poke bowl (I normally get large at other poke places - typically 4-5 scoops of protein depending on the place) but I wasn't expecting so much food especially for the price! Portion size was perfect and they have plenty of options to choose from (protein, sauces and toppings) to create your ideal poke bowl. I had no complaints about any part of my poke bowl, I just hope that it wasn't a fluke and any experience I have in the future will be just as great as the first.
I would definitely recommend this to all my poke lovers as this has become one of my new favorites/go to's (so worth the 40 minute drive) whenever I am craving delicious poke!

Great place for sushi on the go! They have upgrade their container for food And it fits so much more food!!

Love the speedy service and the fresh ingredients! Choosing mango as a topping was strange but it was a good combination.

We didn't have to wait long until we order our food and our bowls were so full we had food for 2 meals, awesome place,  will definitely be coming back.

PROS: Generous portions of everything.
           Salmon is fresh.
           They have seaweed salad, which was really good.
           Service is good, workers are really nice.
CONS: I chose to get the spicy TPP sauce, which was      
            lacking spice and missing some flavor.
            Avocado is $1 extra if you want it.
           
I would come here again, maybe trying a different sauce might make it taste better. I also wished that they mixed the cucumbers in with the sauce because they were a bit dry.
