Really tender brisket! 4oz portions, I ordered 2 and it was a good lunch. BBQ sauce unfortunately was pretty bland.

Their menu is not complicated. We got the combo plate with the choice of brisket and sausage. My spouse and I shared, good for 2 people.
Food- brisket is tender and juicy, on the salty side. BBQ flavor is not bad. Sausage I think is the highlight better than the brisket. Beans is also good. Potato salad is my least favorite, if there's a splash of vinegar in it ( it was a little too much) it became rancid. Price is high.
If you want to give them a try I recommend you share with someone. - Michael S.San Diego, CA29740125/22/2023
The pulled pork is solid, the Mac n cheese is great, but please take a look at your coleslaw recipe. There was no dressing it was like you bought a bag of shredded cabbage from Vons. For $6 that seems criminal. $20 for a plate with 2 sides is pretty expensive for bbq.

Last night I came by to Liberty Public Market and ended up trying The Pig's Gig BBQ which has a fun name. This BBQ spot has an appetizing menu and we ended up ordering the meal deal for 2. This includes 2 pieces of toast, 3 BBQ meats, and 2 sides. We ended up ordering an additional side.
The cashier was very friendly and helpful. The food came out in decent time and they notify via text when the meal is ready.
MEATS: *Tri-tip*, *Pulled Pork*, and *Pulled Chicken*
SIDES: *Baked Beans*, *Potato Salad*, and *Mac and Cheese*
Wow, my barbecue definitely hit the spot! I really enjoyed all the meats, and the tri-tip was my favorite! The sides of BBQ sauce also turned it up a notch, although not necessarily needed. The pickled jalapenos were also very tasty. As for the sides, all three were delightful!
Yummm food- tender, juicy meats made to perfection. And terrific service! - Kaycee K.Los Angeles, CA31512810710/15/2022
Got the 2 order combo- pulled pork and brisket. Â The brisket flavor was so good- Smokey and had some crispy edges. Â I wish we got a fattier piece because it was a little dry.
The pulled pork was interesting- the pork itself was tender, juicy and flavorful, but the bbq sauce was surprisingly vinegary- not what I was expecting. Â You get used to it.
The vinegar cole slaw was good- Â not overly sweet. Â Baked beans were tender and sweet. Â I was surprised to find two flour tortillas in the box too- made for good "tacos".
Would come back to try other items- still unsure about the pulled pork bbq sauce though... - Aimee R.Huntington Beach, CA342437/29/2022
The meats at Pig's Gig BBQ are great for what they're worth! Â I love going here whenever I'm near Liberty Station and I'm craving a big hunk of salty, delicious meat. Their brisket and pulled pork are my favorite ones, but their tri-tip isn't anything to sleep on either.
I took off one star though since their sides are seriously lacking. The beans are bland and the slaw is too vinegary for my taste. Not the worst thing in the world but it would definitely be better if they fixed up their sides a bit! - 1352905003/2/2022
I always try to eat somewhere new in Liberty public market and this day I landed in the pigs gig bbq. They have signs that they smoke the meat for 10-12 hours which sounded great. I had the pulled pork sandwich which came with one side. The pork was a little big dry and was lacking flavor. The mac and cheese was also lacking flavor and seasoning. The bbq sauce was okay but nothing special. Had more of a Carolina vinegar bbq taste to it if you enjoy that.

This review is based on a to-go order so that could be the reason for some or most of the issues. Last weekend I placed a pick-up order of one 2 combo meat plate (pulled pork and brisket) with mac n cheese and beans and one brisket plate with potato salad and coleslaw. I had also ordered a few bbq sauces but they were not in our order. The brisket was so fatty and disgusting so we could barely eat it. The coleslaw was ok and probably the best thing we ordered but I really did not like the potato salad. They serve the bbq with tortillas but I did not try them so I can't comment on those but just an fyi. All in all, this was a waste of money and food and I probably wouldn't try this place again for a long time.

So you ever feel like you just wasted 20 bucks.... Instead of referring to it as the brisket sandwich they should call it the "Fat Sandwich". Also the Mac and cheese taste NOTHING LIKE MAC OR CHEESE. Just boiled noodles with salt sauce. Two line of what could've been called barbque sauce was also on the Fat Sandwich, oh and of course there were no burnt ends from the brisket in the Fat Sandwich. I gave you a heads up now go waste 20 bucks.
