Great price for a monthly package. They have so many great machines. It's been hit or miss with the friendliness of the staff, but I get everyone has a bad day and you can't be happy all the time.

I have nothing but good things to say about Glo. The girls working at the front are always super kind and helpful. The salon itself is very neat with plenty of options available whenever you come in. I love the $69 a month membership to use whatever machines you want as much as you want. All in all, Glo is excellent.

Staff is super friendly! Prices are way worth it, especially if u get family plan with a friend. Found my new fav tanning salon.

I went in to redeem my coupon and was helped by Erin, she showed us the facility and was well informed about the spa treatments. Beautiful facility, can't wait to see the renovations! Will definitely go back!

Coco is such a ball of sunshine! She was seriously so helpful and uplifting! This girl needs a raise!!! She helped me get a membership and took her time showing me all of the lotions! She was very informative and made me feel comfortable the whole time!

What a great experience! I went into Glo looking for information on the spa services. Not only did I get a thorough tour of the facility, I received detailed information on all of the services. Erin was SO great! I was leaving for a Mexico and she helped me make a 3 day schedule in preparation for my trip, including spa services and spray tanning. She set me up with all the products I needed to make the most out of my experience. Friendly and knowledgeable .... Erin is a gem!

I don't know if it really matters if I write a review. The young unprofessional rude girl didn't seem too worried about it, but I really don't care what she thinks. The first time I was there, I purchased the Luxury membership option for $69.95 a month. It was my second visit to the Glo on Buchtel and Colorado Blvd. The first time I went, the person that helped me was very professional and I was treated with respect. The second visit was a whole other story. I was ignored when I first came in and when I did ask for help, the young unprofessional rude girl there was bothered that I had asked her. She said "what do you want to do? I said I don't know, it's my second time there. She was put out that I even asked for help. She was too busy helping this low creepy looking guy with black painted eyebrows who was there the whole time I was. And that was over an hour. so, low class. She was wrapped up in helping her "weird client" the whole time I was there. So, she rushed me back to the red light stand up one, didn't even tell me how to turn it on. I had to go back and "bother her" to tell me how to turn it on. Then she said, what else do you want to do. I said again, "i don't know." That seemed to bother her again. All I needed was some guidance, but still she would only pay attention to this creepy guy with black painted on eyebrows. Then, I said how about a tanning bed, so in her rude way she sort of cleaned it off and said ok, it's ready. Someone had just been in it. However, when I got in, it wasn't even turned on. So, once again I had to "bother" the prima donna again for some help. She turned it on, but not for very long. So, ok, I just hung around while she was helping the creepy guy. Then thankfully, another girl showed up. I said I wanted to do a spray tan, and she helped me! She showed me what to do, I said it was only my second time! I would like a refund, but was told I couldn't get one. So, unfortunately, that's the closest one to me and I might have to see the rude unprofessional girl again. Too bad I didn't get her name, but she was there on 6/3/23 and I got there around noon I think. She was the only one there. I really don't care what she and her scumbag "client" think of me. They both told me off. Yes, not just her, but the creepy guy too!

This company is a complete rip off. The personal is incompetent and the equipment is dirty. I cancelled because they have a bug infestation problem that management was aware of in December. This company kept charging my card beyond packages I purchase (Buchtel Blvd location). I ordered a 3 month red light therapy package and full training package. They continued to charge me after the 3 month period ended. I called to request a refund for the months they overcharged me and they told me to email the owner for a refund. The owner name is Keith I believe.
When my girlfriend asked them about my account they lied to her as said it was canceled in December. See by the photo below they continued to charge my card today and refuse to refund the money... Laurie M. review is consistent with my experience.

Sorry to hear you are so angry with us. I reviewed your account immediately after you called our store today to complain to our employees. We responded to you within an hour of your phone call, yet you still decided to give us a 1-star rating and leave such a horrible comment.
As we responded to you, here is a quick summary of your account:
1. You signed up for two memberships on 8/2/19.
2. When you signed up for your two memberships, you signed our Membership Book, which you then acknowledged that if you wanted to cancel your memberships, you understood that you would need to come in to our store to cancel in person and to sign our Cancellation Book. As you acknowledged, we do not accept cancellations by phone or email, which we do to protect our client's account from an unauthorized cancellation.
3. Since we had no idea that you wanted to cancel your memberships until you called our store today, and you never came in to sign the Cancellation Book, we continued to charge your two memberships as we have done since August.
4. I see on your account that the last time you used one of your memberships was on 1/25/20.
5. I also see on your account that you were not charged for your February payment.
6. Additionally, as we responded to you within an hour of your call to our store today, we wanted to show our apology for how upset you were with us, so we went ahead and refunded your charge for your March payment.
Thus, with all of this said, I am not sure why there is so much hostility towards us when we did everything we were supposed to do, you did not lose any money, and we even went ahead and refunded your March payment.
Either way, I have personally ensured that your two memberships were closed. You will not be charged anything further, and I made sure that your refund for your March payment was made.
I have closed your account permanently. I am sorry that we could not meet your tanning needs.

I first visited The Palms back in, what, 2009? I recently got back into tanning, and The Palms was my first and only choice. I enjoy indoor tanning to get a nice glow, and to help my body make vitamin D. The Palms is the only place I'll go, because they have great equipment, the salon is clean and well kept, and the staff are friendly, professional, and kind. And their great pricing and membership structure really helps--no high-pressure sales tactics, just great tanning!
I also love double dipping (they call it cocktail tanning, where you can tan in a sunbed and then get a sunless/spray tan). I leave the salon looking so bronzed and feeling great! And I like how their membership pricing structure is straightforward.
I've been using their level 1 & 2 beds, but at my last visit I splurged on a level 5 bed, and it was fantastic. It had a flat tanning surface inside, and it was so spacious! Their equipment is top-notch and kept in impeccable condition, which I appreciate.
The relaxation and feeling great from a minimal time investment is important to me, and I love The Palms for helping me to look and feel my best!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information
