Really digging this place. Nice folks behind the counter, really good food to go. The Quinoa salad is spicy goodness. Call ahead not necessary, but recommended.

What more could a pregnant lady want??? Lol, I found this place by accident but am happy that I stopped by. Small place but their menu is huge!!! Delicious beef barley soup that tastes all the better cuz I know it's made with all of the good stuff :) I love the fact that they are affordable, honest, and have delicious food that doesn't require me to question what I am eating or second guess the ingredients :) keep up the good work!!!!

Fresh and organic, who could ask for anything more?
After hearing about this new place through a coworker who knows my wife's and my penchant for local eateries that feature farm-to-table, organic/GMO free, or locally sourced ingredients, I knew I had to try it. Finally, I decided to stop in, and I am glad I did!
Tucked into the front corner of a strip mall just off bustling Pacific Avenue, they're a welcome relief for the hum-drum blah of Parkland pit stops to refuel the body and the belly. The employee in the dancing carrot costume was my first clue I was close, and it was easy to spot once in the parking lot. Note that this is a walk up location only (kind of like a food truck, only no truck) and you have to take it to go or head to your car to munch on the goodness. Come summer, they will have sidewalk dining, but for now, there's no option for seating.
The menu is posted on the wall and man, it's extensive. Pictures of their creations help the undecided, and they have something for everyone as I noted a good selection of sandwiches, salads, pizzas, and other choices to fit your cravings. I opted for the French dip, and the employee, whose name I failed to get, met me at the window and was beyond friendly as she slid the glass open to take my order. After placing the order, I couldn't help but to watch them make my food in the expansive kitchen which is very clean, organized, and professional looking. The French dip comes with chips and a pickle, but I told her I'd pass on the chips and was offered a chocolate chunk cookie instead. Trust me when I say this -- take the cookie! It was soft and its flavor abundant. Super great cookie, which set the tone for the rest of the place. Facebook reviews are favorable all around, and I can see why after tasting the cookie.
French dip has long been one of my favorites, and this did not disappoint! It is a good sized sandwich, with pillow soft, chewy bread that has the perfect consistency for sandwiches and the ideal blend for French dip. The meat and cheese was very tasty, with no fat on the meat, and the au jus was so good! Easily one of my favorite French dips in recent memory, and I'm so glad I can get it again without much of a drive from my house.
Not food related, but of mention is how fast they reply to reviews and recommendations from customers. I had noted they use compostable food containers, but still use polystyrene and single use plastic bags, cups, and utensils. My inquiry was as to whether or not they had plans to replace the plastic options with compostable or more environmental options, and was given a great explanation as to what their plans were in the future. Thank you for the quick and very thorough reply!
Healthy options in Parkland have been almost always been non-existent, but that's now been remedied with the presence of The Organic Lunchbox. Fear not, organic fans who beg for a tasty, healthy meal, for they are spot on and not likely to disappoint. I'll be back for sure!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Mike Y.Tacoma, WA242May 18, 2017

Renee D - it would be rude to go into a restaurant 20 minutes before closing anyways. Some people just don't know anything about consideration. And to review a place a one star when you haven't even stepped foot inside? Why not save your reviews for places you've actually experienced. Or call the store manager and complain directly before writing a review and ruining business for these people? For all you know, there could have been an emergency. Yelp should delete her review.

Finally!! A place that offers healthy things to eat in Parkland. I came across this place by accident and I couldn't try it because it was the weekend (they are closed weekends) so first thing I did today (Monday) before going to work was to stop by here at get something to eat. I love that there are many things to choose from and I know I will be back again!

I had the smoked chicken and bacon on a bagel. I think it was awesome. Good flavor, chicken was marinated well spicy veggies were awesome. My only critique is to toast the bagel just a bit.

So glad you liked it!! We do toast every bagel sandwich but our taster has been finicky lately, we will make sure to keep an eye that the toaster is toasting to our standards :)
