The Melting Pot

LOVE, LOVE, LOVVVEE! This is such a unique experience. I went with my sister and mom for a little family "date" night, and it was so much fun. We did the original deal (which is intended for a date night meal for two people) and our waitress let us order it for just us, without adding on the price of another person. It was still plenty of food. We left stuffed and happy.

For those who haven't been there, you start off with a fondue of your choice and you get some dippers (bread, apples, vegetables, etc) and that alone is very filling. Then you get salads (if you're doing the meal combo, which I recommend). Next you cook your food in a hot pot style. Finally, the chocolate!!

It is perfect. It allows for great conversation, too. We ended up being there for 2 hours, when we would normally be in and out of a restaurant in less than an house. Highly recommend!

I love the Melting Pot. Every meal here is fantastic. Service is consistent, their happy hour is great, and I can't forget the chocolate fondue! Great place for a date, celebration, or just because you're craving that cheese fondue.

This is our go to place for birthday and special occasions. The service and food is always great, besides fondue is a lot of fun for everyone!!

Go chocolate and cheese! What's not to love?

Love this fondue restaurant! It's fun and relaxing I only come once a month but it's a great experience every time! The cheese and chocolate are always delicious and delightful. The staff is courteous and polite, if your looking for a special occasion this would fit the bill!

I went last night with some friends for the first time and I was disappointed. To start with the server we had named "Kate" was horrible and she was not very friendly. She quickly asked our order did not make any effort to make our dining experience pleasurable. Then when it came to the dippers and the cheese fondue, the bread was stale and the cheese fondue was all chunky because the server Kate did not prepare it properly. To skip to the dessert portion, I will say the milk chocolate dip was good but the items given to dip in it were subpar. The marshmallows were not soft and overall it was not a good meal or experience.

This was my second time here and my fiancés first time. We were celebrating my birthday and oh em gee! Was it special!? We had the 4course meal for two. We started with the fiesta cheese dip which was accompanied with the traditional bread, broccoli, cauliflower and apples. Then came our salads I had the California salad and my fiancé ate the Wisconsin wedge salad. Both salad plates were cleaned! Our entree came out with the mojo cooking style (recommended by my sister). My fiancé was super confused at first because he didn't understand that we would be cooking our own food (I kinda snuck that in at the last minute) but eventually got the hang of it and enjoyed the experience. Our final course was dessert and it came with a happy birthday plate and a candle on top of a piece of cake. Super special super fun  I definitely recommend. Oh wait and their drinks  AMAZING!

Wasn't really expecting to drop in and sit down at a super nice place. Wait staff were one of the best I've experience since living in Tallahassee for 8 years. Food tasted amazing. The desert was by far the best part of the meal. The s'mores chocolate fondue was amazing and I don't think much can compete to it. It was also interesting watching them stir and mix the broths as they start to heat up. Your really getting what you paid for!!

We are regular customers but Sunday evening I was very uncomfortable.   We made reservations at 5 pm intentionally to not be in a crowd due to covid.  Everything was going well. Food was excellent great service and then they sat another party next to us and I was sitting with only 1 foot between me and the person seated next to me. If I loved my elbow I could touch her elbow. WTF!  I get pretty uncomfortable being placed in this situation. My party could not love as we were already cooking our dinner. There were plenty of open tables in the restaurant but they had to put a party right next to us!!! I am very disappointed in what happened and being placed in a very uncomfortable situation.

What a fun place for dinner! If you've got a date or just want to savor your meal and catch up with some friends or family, this is the spot to do it. The food is delicious, I mean, who isn't a fan of food dipped in cheese and chocolate? There's plenty of options too, so you should be able to find a few things that your party can agree on!

The atmosphere is nice, every table feels secluded so you can enjoy you time with your group. The food is definitely on the pricey side, but so delicious and worth it!

Ladies! Make sure to grab your girlfriends and go on the last Wednesday or Thursday of the month! They typically do a $25 3-course special for ladies night, so it's a price you can't beat! And college kids! Wednesday's they have deals on cheese and chocolate!
