Q:
Coming tonight for a birthday celebration with family, what is appropriate attire, are jeans acceptable?
A:
We prefer 'buffet pants' for all of the food, haha, but jeans are totally acceptable. Casual to dressy. Fun place!
Q:
How much does 1 individual usually pay here for a meal and no alcohol, trying to figure out how much money to bring?
A:
Hello - My best guess would be anywhere from $30-$60 it would be reasonable guess. Most menu items are built for two. $30 is my suggestion only. I have never gone as an individual.

First time customer and I was impressed with the restaurant decor. Nice high ceilings and a warm atmosphere made me excited for a fun evening.
The menu is daunting, but when our server explained everything, it was much easier to understand. You can go ala carte or do a four course meal. 3 of the courses are fondue, with the salad being the only one without.
I started out with a yin and yang martini. It looked so pretty, and tasted ok, but nothing like a martini. I think the ice cream was overwhelming and I tasted no vodka or Godiva liquer.
My husband and I opted for the four course dinner. We picked the Quattro formaggio fondue which was served with a variety of dippers, such as broccoli, carrots, celery, apples, bread and pretzel bites. Everything tasted great in the gooey cheese. We weren't even finished eating that and they brought our salads. I ordered the strawberry spinach salad and it was excellent.
I would have liked a little break between servings, because it is a lot of food, but they kept pushing us along. For the main entree we shared a steak lovers and a land a sea, and had a broth fondue. The pots are right in front of you and you spear your protein and then let it cook in the broth. The steak on the steak lovers wasn't as tender as we anticipated, so that was disappointing. We also had salmon, shrimp and chicken. The chicken had an odd spice that didn't appeal to us.
Lastly was dessert. We chose a bananas foster fondue and the server lit it on fire in front of us for a little show. The dippers were brownies, blondies, marshmallows, rice Krispy treats, waffles and fruit. Everything was wonderful and I was full beyond belief.
This place isn't cheap. We each had a drink and our bill was $156.
The experience was fun and certainly a different way to dine. Service was excellent for the entire time. My biggest negative was I felt rushed. You didn't get a chance to breath between courses.

I finally experienced the Melting Pot, something my family and I have always wanted to try. I will say this: the service was excellent, and everyone worked very hard to make our experience as great as they could.
My family and I all ordered the Bigger Night Out full experience with the added lobster tail.
We all agreed that the cheese fondues we received with the bread and veggies was very tasty. Our salad that we got was also awesome.
When it came to the actual "meal" part, we were a little underwhelmed--and overwhelmed--with how this part went. The meats we received were "okay", but we all personally thought the filet we were given was off-putting. It didn't taste right. Also, the preparation of our own meats in either the broth or the grill was overwhelming, and wasn't as good as we expected it to be. The sides that came with the meats (potatoes, broccoli, etc) took WAY too long to cook in the methods provided. The "boiled" version of our meats was not something we'd ever do again. We opted for the Coq au Vin pot, and it just didn't do it for us. The grilled was better, but again...took too long. We finally realized that something happened to the table hot plate, and it wasn't even on. When we finally got this all working again--it still took too long to cook for a whole table of people on one tiny grill. It was just a not-so-great experience with this part of the meal. If everyone would've had the ability to cook their food--this may have been better. But, with a $400 check to have 7 people trying to cook their meats/veggies on two small cooking apparatus--when you're all hungry--just didn't cut it for us.
The dessert was awesome. We tried the original milk, the one with the crunchy peanut butter added, and the turtle. AMAZING.
Final verdict: We'd go back again for a cheese fondue app and dessert, but you'd probably never catch us in there again for an actual dinner.

Atmosphere - Excellent. The restaurant is located in the Station Square complex, the restaurant has a modern vibe. There are various types of seating that range from rectangle high tops, to low top tables, the booths. The main dining area is on the dark side, which provides a little romantic atmosphere.
Service - Good. The servers were attentive to the point of our feeling rushed. We arrived at 6 pm on a Friday night and the staff was very eager to move us quickly through the 4 courses.
Food - Mixed experience. The cheese fondue, using breads and veggies, was very good. The salad was also very good. It was fresh and the house dressing excellent. The main course was good, but not great. We selected the vegetable broth. I ordered the all meat entree. The filet mignon (4 bite sized pieces) was good and tender. The chicken was OK, but the seasoning was a little off putting. The teriyaki steak OK, but some of the pieces were chewy. The peppercorn crusted sirloin was virtually inedible. The crust was too peppery for my taste and the meat was so extremely tough that even cutting it into smaller, thinner pieces was a waste of time. The I chose the bananas foster for desert and it was delicious. In fact all of the deserts selected at our table were excellent.
Overall Value - average. The experience itself is very nice. However, at $90 pp for the 4 course meal, I should not have been served four types of meat in which 2 were just OK and one inedible!

This was my first time having fondue and it was great! We tried the classic alpine and Quattro Formaggio and both were delicious. The classic was exactly that, cheese forward, while the latter tasted more like basil and sun dried tomatoes. I got the Pacific Rim as my entree and my favorite was the duck breast. For dessert, we tried both the Flaming Turtle and dark chocolate. I preferred the plain dark chocolate; however, the Flaming Turtle was good too. I also got a Melting Pot mule and I thoroughly enjoyed the kick of the ginger. The overall meal was definitely more of an experience and it was so much fun.

We went to the Melting Pot on Monday to celebrate my mom's 50th birthday. We got there at 6 o'clock (our reservation time) and were seated right away. Our waitress was wonderful - she helped to thoroughly explain the menu, answer any questions we had, etc. She was attentive and always around for refills. We chose the $96 experience for two (one experience per couple). Both the Fiesta and Quattro Formaggio cheeses were amazing. We all got Caesar salads which were tasty as well. We got a number of meat entrees between us and had the coq au vin and grill cooking styles. We finished up with the Original and Milk Chocolate fondues (the Original is my favorite!!). Overall, it was a great experience but so. much. food. Next time I will probably just opt to do the cheese and chocolate courses.

We visited The Melting Pot on the Wednesday before Valentines Day. It was a cold and snowy night but it was still SUPER busy. I was surprised to see people at every table but all staff was donning masks so that made me feel okay about things. I do get nervous about how many unmasked people there are in an area though so it would have been nice to see most distancing between tables.
We were seated at our reservation time, were greeted by our waitress immediately, and got instructions for using the online menu. We decided to do the Wisconsin Cheese fondue pot and the Classic pot for the main (but no shrimp because I'm allergic). Everything was delicious.
We didn't truly have room for it but we opted for a chocolate fondue at the end because heck, it's practically a holiday, right?! That was seriously the best part of the meal. We decided that next time, we might just get cheese and chocolate.
Our bill before tip came to just under $80 and that's with waters to drink so it's a little on the pricier side but it's also more than just a meal - it's an experience too!
We'll be back. This will be a nice date spot but I don't think my kids would enjoy it.

We went here for an 8th anniversary dinner. I had a red velvet martini which was delicious! My husband and I had two different fondues--he had mojo and I had coq au vin. We both had filet mignon, brasa chicken, teriyaki sirloin, pacific white shrimp. To me, the best part was the dessert--chocolate fondue which had fresh fruit, Rice Krispie's, brownies and blondies. I only wish the desserts were homemade (you know when something is); the regular fondue was ok--I don't think we will be back; we didn't love it but it wasn't terrible either. It was a different place to try for an anniversary dinner.

This was the first time I've been here since they moved across the street from their original location. The ambiance of the restaurant was nice. It's definitely somewhere I'd like to come back to for happy hour or wine and cheese fondue.
We were here for a birthday dinner and Alex, our server, was beyond accommodating and very patient. He was great! We did the dinner for two which was reasonably priced for the cheese fondue, salad, entree and chocolate fondue selections.
The drinks were just as good. The black cherry cosmo and white peach cosmo were very tasty!

The Melting Pot is a great place to take a date or even have a double date. I've been here three different times and each time was as great as the last. The food here is always on point and service is excellent.
I suggest you do the 4 course tasting dinner for two which I think comes out to about $100 as a total for two. They start you off with the cheese fondue which you can choose from about 6 different types. My personal favorite is the Quattro Formaggio. They bring out apples, carrots, different types of bread all to be dipped in the cheese which sits on a burner in the middle of the table. Next Is the salad, the strawberry one is sooo good it has candied pecans on it to dye for. I think they also sell their dressing too if you wanted to buy some for home. After salads the entree is brought out. Normally I do the pick 4 and pick 4 different things which range from chicken, shrimp, raviolis, steak, and lobster. They also bring a bowl of vegetables out with potatoes, broccoli, and mushrooms to cook. To dip all that in yoh get about 8 different sauces which are all amazing. You pick your cooking liquid also or you can do cast iron. I do not recommend the cast iron as a lot of the stuff can't be cooked well on it. After all that comes my favorite part desert. They have a bunch of options to choose from and a really cool thing that a lot of people don't know is you can change any of the styles of chocolate to whatever chocolate you want. For example I like the turtle chocolate which comes with milk chocolate but I sub dark chocolate. It is amazing. The banana fosters is also really good they set it on fire and use real bananas. Along with the chocolate you get a board of brownies, cheesecake, marshmallows, fruit, and cookies. Also!! Don't forget to add a wine flight it's only $20 and a glass of wine is paired with each course!
Overall I highly recommend this place for a date night. It's not the most amazing fancy food in the world but the experience is unbeatable.

Yes we took my girl here for her birthday and it was our 1st time and my experience was a good one I was was a bit nervous having a four course meal but great portions to share very clean a mask is required to enter very clean restroom great social distance meat and veggies well seasoned I'm differently coming back not a ever day dining but a special occasion night
