Had the pleasure of dining back here for our anniversary dinner. We were able to book last minute dinner plans & the staff was extremely accommodating.
Just want to give a shout out to the host- that was in the front, he was super quick & efficient. And, our waiter JAYLEN. Even though she was busy, she was super sweet, and helped us without giving us an attitude when we asked for a different cheese.
The perfect 4 course menu for two people is $109+
Which is not a bad deal considering the amount of food you get! We left full and satisfied.
This melting pot location is like no other. Every time I am in Orlando, this is my go-to spot to celebrate.
Love the fondue experience & definitely worth the money.
Again, thanks jaylen for providing amazing service.

Thank you for the amazing review & kind words, Nancy! We are honored you chose to celebrate your special day with us & are so glad we were able to make it a memorable experience! Happy Anniversary!

Made reservations for my birthday/valentine's day on 02/12 at 7pm and we were seated right away.
The location/atmosphere was very nice, it looked small when you first walk in but it's actually a big restaurant.
Staff- the manager checked on us as well as the waiter, I liked how they were able to help us.
We orders the four course experience, we ordered the classic and a create your own. I liked the classic because it came with the basic meats such as steak, chicken shrimp. We also ordered different meats and tried the duck meat which was interesting.
Cheese course- cheddar, excellent taste to go with the bread, vegetables and fruits.
Salad- California and Caesar salad. Both a great combo to try. One on a fruity aspect. The candied pecans really hit the spot for me.
Chocolate- Flaming turtle was delicious!!! Again, candied pecans go well with the milk chocolate.
Drinks- they have a variety of drinks, from beers to wines etc. I ordered the local favorite called "mangolicious," I thought it was average. I didn't really get the mango taste just the liquor. We also had the sangria, and again it was just straight up wine not really any fruity aspects to it but overall it was fine.
Our bill came out to $133 and everything was so far so good. This place is a bit pricey but the food overall is great as well as the experience.
Also, when you check in, you get a free box of chocolates. The chocolate covered strawberries were AMAZING btw.
There was a Photobooth in the back which is awesome because they added a fun thing to do after for couples, friends and families who are a having a night out.
I usually go to the melting pot in Cooper City, so it was definitely a different feel to it. Both great though.

4 people for dinner @8pm
Pros
A wonderful and fun experience.
Their food quality is excellent.
While most places seem to be cutting costs or quality- MP has consistently remained high quality.
Reservations are easy to make.
Cons
You should have knowledge of and a like of different fondues.

Thank you for sharing your wonderful review & rating, Derek! We appreciate the compliments and look forward to having you visit us again for more fun & fondue!

Melting pot is a experience. So if you are in a hurry, don't go there. There is a time for being the drinks, to turn on the cooktop, brings the cheese, melt the cheese, clean everything, bring the oil or broth, heat up, clean, chocolate...
I've been there twice. So I try two different things.
Cheeses are ok, and you can ask for more sides for your cheese, without any up charge.
You have to choose how are you going to cook your meat, first time was in a broth (didn't like it) and second was fried (l liked it), and you have the sauces to dip. You can ask for more bread and vegetables, no meat, or it will be extra.
Chocolate was very sweet for me. The first time, my sister wanted with the caramel, she loved it, I don't. And second time, I ordered the dark combination, it wasn't that good.
Overall is a nice place to go out with you partner, it is a very romantic place, if you are luck to don't sit near of a very noisy couple.

Thank you for the candid feedback Mariana! We pride ourselves in being a fun and interactive dining experience. On average, the experience does take about 2 hours total for all four courses. You can order a la carte as well which is a great option for guests who want to pick the specific courses they like best and it cuts down on the time too! We do offer a number of different options for each fondue course and are always more than happy to swap out anything if it isn't to your liking! We can't wait to have you join us again and are always open to hearing any additional feedback on how we can earn those extra stars on your next visit!

Came here for Magical Dining! Which was a great deal to get a dining experience at a place that I probably wouldn't normally visit. Parking was super frustrating....had to circle around the lot a few times on a Thursday night because it was quite full with so many businesses in one plaza.
We got sat right away. This place is a maze! It has a bunch of small rooms with only 8 or so table per section which makes it feel quite intimate and private which I appreciated.
With Magical Dining, we got to choose a cheese fondue, entree, and chocolate fondue. My table went with the Bacon and Brie & Wisconsin Cheddar, Pacific Rim entree with Coq au Vin and Mojo cooking styles, and Dark and Dulce & The Original for dessert. There selection of cocktails looked delicious although I didn't partake.
I personally didn't like the strong wine flavor of the Bacon and Brie, so I stuck mostly to the Wisconsin Cheddar, although it didn't stay at melty after a while so made it a bit hard to fondue at the end.
I enjoyed my selection of meats with the Pacific Rim. Mostly cooked mine in the Mojo flavoring. I appreciated the mushrooms, potatoes and broccoli that also came in both our entree pots. You also get six sauces during the entree course. We loved the gorgonzola and teriyaki sauces best. My overall experience with the entree course was overwhelming. There were too many choices and flavors that it wasn't an enjoyable experience honestly. I don't know if it was it was because my first time at the melting pot, but it overwhelming haha I would possibly try this all again but with less options to choose from.
My favorite part was of course dessert! The Original was milk chocolate and crunchy peanut butter and was part for dunking the chocolate crumb coated marshmallows and bananas. The dark chocolate and dulce de leche was perfect for the other sweet treats making it a decant ending to the night.
Our server was personable and funny but at times was slow to clean up between courses, and at one point when we asked him to clean the table before dessert, he just pushed the crumbs to the ground. (We were slightly disturbed by that.) Our whole meal took almost three hours which according to my dinner companions was longer than usual. I may try the multiple course meal again but honestly might just stick to dessert if I come back.

Tracey, thank you so much for your candid feedback! I understand your frustration on the parking! With Magical Dining going on & having a number of restaurants in the plaza, it can definitely get busy. So sorry about this! Although the cheese fondue recipe does call for wine as the base, we are always more than happy to switch it out if you're not happy with the flavors or help try to customize it! In regards to the experience timing, for a party of 2, it typically takes about 2 hours on average and sincerely apologize for any long wait between courses. We'd love to have the opportunity to look into this and make up for this impression. I will also be passing along the feedback in regards to the table cleaning that occurred as this isn't the proper way we transitio onto the next course.
We are thrilled you enjoyed our entree course & dessert! You truly can't go wrong with melted chocolate!
We would like to make up for the shortcomings you experienced on your last visit. If you could please send a copy of this over to orlandomeltingpot@gmail.… in addition to the name/date of your reservation, our management team would love the chance to discuss this!

A popular spot to go and celebrate a special occasion, the Melting Pot offers a novel experience of cheese fondue appetizers, "cook it yourself" entrees, and chocolate fondue desserts. They have an à la carte menu but also have set courses, particularly for special days. We went on Mother's Day and they had a set menu where we could choose between specific appetizers, entrees, and desserts.
For appetizers we chose between different cheeses, our table selected the brie and bacon and cheddar. They prepare the fondue in front of you, melting the cheese and adding all the garnishes, it's certainly a nice touch. The fondue was served with a platter of breads, fruits, and vegetables. The cheeses tasted pretty good as well.
For the entrees we selected between several different cooking methods. We picked the grill option as well as a pot of oil to fry with. This was served with a selection of meats plus salmon and shrimp.
And of course for dessert we picked between different chocolate mixes. We had the flaming turtle, which they flambé in front of you! And the the Yin and Yang. They serve various fruits and sweets to go with the chocolate fondue.
All in all it was a pleasant experience. Though to be honest the food wasn't that amazing, especially considering the price. But it's definitely a good place to go at least once just for the experience.

Who doesn't like cheese, meat and chocolate? I am a huge fondue fan and believe it or not, each fondue place or chain serve different types of veggies, seasoned meats and things for chocolate dipping. Its a great place for a date or double date and very affordable. The dinner for 2 was only $100 and we were stuffed.

What a beautiful night, from start to finish!!
My boyfriend and I were in town for my birthday and I wanted a nice dinner out while there. Reservations were easy and we were seated immediately when we arrived. The ambiance was great. Our waiter, Brett, was super nice and accommodating. He did very well with helping us make great decisions and describing everything. We ultimately went with the "Big Night Out," a four course meal that starts with cheese fondue, then a salad, your entree and then chocolate fondue dessert. Kinda pricey, but I would say you definitely get your money's worth. I was stuffed by the time dessert rolled around and the experience within itself was different and fun.
I told them I was celebrating my birthday and the manager brought out a cute little card and wished me a Happy Birthday. As an added bonus, we got a half dozen chocolate covered strawberries for checking in on Yelp!
On top of all that, my boyfriend popped the question! I said yes, of course and we were given two complimentary glasses of champagne as a "Congrats" from them.
Like I said, a beautiful night from start to finish. It's a must that I return whenever I'm in Orlando again.

Breanna, HAPPY BIRTHDAY AND CONGRATS ON YOUR ENGAGEMENT! What an amazing and memorable evening. We are so honored to be a part of your special day! We can't wait to share your kind words and compliments with Brett as well. We hope to have the pleasure of having you again soon!

The melting pot was an exquisite experience. We came on a Wednesday without a reservation and were promptly seated. We were celebrating my birthday and it was our first time. We were seated in a nice private area where our server Cody explained the menu and assisted us in making choices for drinks. We went with the "Bigger Night out" MOJO style. The 4 courses were Devine. Cody was a special treat who went out of her way to make it a very enjoyable experience. The manager Tom even brought over a card, greeted us and checked on us throughout the night.
The flavors were incredible especially the lobster, the food is well seasoned so it is hard for even the most inexperienced cook to mess up, but you are in charge of the doneness of your meat and veggies.
While it isn't an inexpensive date. I highly recommend it and believe it is worth the price. I would suggest doing the 4 course option to truly appreciate the experience with the bread, salad, main, and dessert. We will absolutely return to this location. The ambiance and experience make it very special

Happy Birthday, Elicia! Thank you for coming in to join us for such a special celebration. We appreciate the kind words and excellent rating. We can't wait to share your compliments with our team and look forward to serving you again in the future!

The Melting Pot is known as a "special event" restaurant for good reason. The servers really go out of your way to actually "take care of you" and even though the food is great as well - that is what really makes the experience for me.
Speaking of food - you really should always go for their prix fixe specials which include cheese fondue, salad, main and desert. It's a good deal and you really do want the whole progressive experience if you are there for a special event. Everything is yummy and the table side prep touches make it even more special. The only bummer is how tiny the salad feels, but you have enough food overall so it isn't a big deal.
They are taking Covid seriously which is great to see, staff is all wearing their masks properly and they are enforcing it in the restaurant. I was especially happy to see they had tables set up outside as well. The weather was lovely and it was a great way to experience dinner.
Overall, I wish I hadn't waited so long since my last visit and I can't wait to go back!
