Q:
How much is it for to people to eat and have a four course meal?
A:
Around $95 if you're doing the four course dinner for two. They also have à la carte so you can just straight to picking entrees without all the extra. That's around $29-30. Cheese and chocolate fondue is priced at $22

I truly enjoyed having Paige as our waitress! She was extremely attentive and accommodated all of her needs! We had the butter cheese fondue with the Merlot dip with the filet mignon and chocolate covered strawberries with the butternut coffee for dessert.

I made reservations ahead of time, I HIGHLY recommend doing that. The restaurant was so empty! I'm we loved it. The one thing we like about covid. Our waitress and the training waitress was great. They ha sled things well.
Our cheese dippers were interesting. We had Persian carrots... I think that is what they are called. We could not wrap ourself around the texture of them. I prefer the normal carrots. Our bread dippers were a little hard. The salads were great. The meat was delicious, same with the veggies. The potatoes were already cooked. Normally we got raw potatoes. I was nervous because they did not look well. But, turned out they were ok. Our chocolate after heating up had chunks in it. Not sure what that was all about.
Other than that we had a good time.

I've been dying to try out this place and I'm so glad I finally did. We made reservations ahead of time on OpenTable. My boyfriend and I tried it out for our 7 year anniversary and they were so kind. We got the anniversary package and received balloons and chocolate fondue wafers. They also took our picture and put it in a frame for us to take! The food was great. I was a little skeptical because of the size of the meat since it was so small. It was all very filling and we loved having the ability to cook our own food. The food was very seasoned and delicious. We got the Dinner for 2 (around $95) and it did not disappoint. We especially enjoyed the service. Jeff was amazing!! We will definitely be back and we hope to see Jeff again. Everything was just amazing! Thank you for a great anniversary dinner!

Coming to this restaurant was the highlight of my weekend. Me and my son loved it! The restaurant was cleaned and had a nice setup. The staff was extremely pleasant and attentive. They really helped us enjoy the experience there. The food was awesome!! The cheese fondue was really good. The entrees.....they were sooo good. I really didn't know what to expect but I was really impressed. The dessert....blew us away. I highly recommend this spot for special occasions such as dates, celebrations, or birthdays. It was well worth the trip. Parking is good. There are tons of parking available at the location.

Nancy,
Thank yo for the 4 stars! We're glad you had an enjoyable experience. &, we can't wait to serve you again, soon!

I have been wanting to try The Melting Pot so bad, as my friends have only good things to say about it. The restaurant is very nice and classy. I cant eat cheese, so unfortunately I had to skip that portion. My salad was delicious! The greens were very fresh, and nuts sweet and adding such a good flavor coupled with the dressing. The broth was very good, and it cooked the food in minutes. Although I go crazy over meat, my favorite part was actually the veggies. The veggies were so tender and so flavorful after being cooked in the broth. I really liked the mushrooms. The dessert was such a nice way to end the meal, all the options and combinations you could do. Luckily, my date doesnt ready like sweets so I got to eat most of it. All-in-all, it was a nice experience and the food was excellent, but it's not my preferred method of dining. I think everyone should try it out at least once.

We had a good experience. Loved the cheese fondue (classic alpine) and we had a build your own for dinner and the pacific rim. Tuna and shrimp were delicious. Nice date night or night out for a special celebration.

Take heed in eating here for the possibility of you to undercook your food is quite high; they serve the food raw, and you cook it yourself. The atmosphere is delightful, however, you can easily sleep because of the dim lighting and stale air, which can slightly dull the experience. Once the food was cooked it was delicilous! Although my date liked it better raw. The prices are quite high, but you're paying for the experience. All and all it was an enjoyable time a we will go back.
Cheaper alternative: cook food on an electric grill in a cheap motel.

Review Update. No one from Melting Pot every called or reached out to me. Sad, right?
This is why I prefer to go to small restaurants where the people care about you and their reputation. Eat small this week and see what happens.

So how does a usually great restaurant earn a 1-Star review? Let me give you the run down.
Start- 5 Star
We show up on time (a few minutes early actually) for our reservation. Hostess tells us it will be a few minutes because the "tables are dirty". A little TMI for me but no problem. We wait and wait and wait. No one is smiling. I make a comment about the business cards on the counter and ask if either is the hostesses. She tells me no and then says she's a realtor and she has a card for that. WHAT? My Sketch-o-meter begins to twitch.

We get to the table and being gentlemen we let the ladies slide into the booth first. Unfortunately, simultaneously both women hurt their legs on sharp metal boxes under the table holding the thermostats. These two devices are set so you must slide past them and no one warns you. I am shocked but everyone is already injured and not happy. Waitstaff ignores whole scene.

We order drinks. A person comes out with a small carafe of wine and pours it. I see the two people on the other side of the table staring at the glass on the table. Why? Because, upon inspection there is a bug floating in the glass.
1 Star
We tell our waitstaff and she says, "I'll get you a fresh one". A glass is brought back and set on the table. The ick factor is at 1000.
When she comes back to the table we tell her, "please, just take this away." She offers to bring the original glass back and promises this is a new glass. We just don't want it. Then she says something like, "it's so hard to keep the bugs out, there is not much we can do".
Negative 1000 Stars
Yelp, can I put Negative 1000 Stars in a review? Yelp says, "No, Sorry".
Ta Da, Melting Pot earns a generous 1 Star.
Avoid this place.

I love coming here for special occasions. They are especially great for anniversaries. The service is seriously top notch and I always feel well taken care of when I dine here. I can rave all day about dipping bread in melted cheese and fruit in chocolate. If I had to nitpick, I would have to say I probably would have preferred they went a bit more modest on the amount of wine mixed with our cheese. The last time we dined here, they went a bit heavy with the wine so it was a bit overpowering. I also wasn't a big fan of cooking the meats in the broth. I would recommend anyone go for drinks, appetizers and dessert. It is pricey but absolutely worth the ambiance.
