I grew up eating fondue so it has a special place in my heart. It was a really fun social meal with my boyfriend. We shared the biggest option with lobster tails and everything was delicious.
I will say, it was not cheap and with 2 drinks + tip it was $180. Part of me would rather just make it at home with my own pot.
The service was great, but I did share we were celebrating our anniversary and I wish there were a little bit more of a celebration, especially for the price we paid.

Visited Melting Pot for a quick dessert stop. We arrived just after they opened and despite many open tables, we were informed they had many reservations and the only open spots were at the bar. As we sat down and got our drink orders, we were then luckily told there was an available table. So we picked up and moved to our seats, where we proceeded to order the Turtle Chocolate for 5.
The tables you sit at have burners built into the center of the table. The chocolate was brought out in a fondue pot that was set on the burner and lit on fire. You could smell the delightful chocolate and caramel aromas! You were also brought skewers and an array of dippable delights to enjoy in the warm, melted chocolate. This included various fruits, brownie pieces, marshmallows, rice krispies, and much more. Then you pick your skewer and begin dipping away. I particularly enjoyed the fruit and chocolate combination!
Upon leaving, we had much chocolate leftover and the staff was kind enough to package it up to go. They even gave us fresh dippables to go, as well. Which we later enjoyed at home!
Melting Pot was a fun fondue experience that offers dessert and meal choices (chocolate, cheese fondue with meats, and much more). Although it was a great experience, I didn't quite feel it lived up to all the hype I'd heard. But still melted chocolate and cheese....you can't really go wrong!

We loved Melting Pot. The food was delicious and we had a wonderful time. The best part was our waiter, Kyle, who was attentive and a genuinely kind and thoughtful waiter. We received wonderful service from him and even met the managers of the establishment. It feels good to know that managers care enough to check on tables and the waiters/waitress care enough to check on us every step of the way. Made a dinner on our honeymoon all that more special.

Come here for all your cheese and chocolate fondue cravings!
The 3 of us had a small Classic Alpine cheese fondue, a 1-person portion of the Pacific Rim with Cast Iron Grill cooking style, and a small The Original chocolate fondue.
Here are the highlights:
- The Classic Alpine is the most popular for a reason! The pungent raclette taste was mellowed out by the other cheeses, giving a rich and fragrant fondue. Dippers were unlimited and included broccoli, carrots, celery, a variety of breads, and Granny Smith apples.
- In my opinion, Cast Iron Grilling is the best cooking style for the entrée. With the other methods, the different proteins can easily be over- or undercooked.
- The chocolate fondue was decadent. Peanut butter coated with melted chocolate is amazing. Dippers were unlimited and included marshmallows, pound cake, brownie and blondies, rice crispies, strawberries, bananas, and pineapples.
- With 3 courses and a slight transition waiting time between each, the service pacing was fairly slow, so don't come here for a quick meal.
- Our waiter, Dustin, gave us recommendations and checked up on us often. He was very nice and attentive, and he brought us more dippers when we ran out.

I've been to Melting Pot one other time. Valentine's Day 2013 with my ex husband at the Providence Place Mall. I absolutely hated it. Since that visit, my opinion of Melting Pot has done a 180.
My husband never had fondue before and wanted to go to Melting Pot for Easter. Given my past experience, I was a bit skeptical. I am so glad we went! Every single thing we ordered was incredible. We ordered the Quattro Formaggio, two Caesar salads, two Land & Seas with the Mojo fondue, and lastly the Flaming Turtle for dessert. The Land & Sea with the Mojo was my personal favorite. The Flaming Turtle dessert was my husband's personal favorite. My only complaint is that I didn't care for the candied pine nuts on the Caesar salad. The sweetness of the pine nuts just didn't pair well with the dressing.
However, Melting Pot is now added to our rotation of special occasion restaurants. And I ordered a fondue set from William Sonoma last night.

What a great dinner last night. Casual dining at its best. The 4 of us were there for over 2 hours. The wait staff were so attentive. The fondue was outstanding and the chocolate fondue dessert as so good. Highly recommend it.

Such a fun experience! The waiter made the experience. He had great sauce recommendations, he was great with the kids, explained how to best enjoy our experience. I wish I remembered his name, he was young and around 6'3. The food was delicious, we did the fondu for two. We got the Quattro formaggio, Caesar salads (personally, it could do without the sweet nuts on it, but again that's just personal preference). we cooked our fondu on the hot plate. Our waiter suggested mixing the curry and teriyaki together. Sooooo good! Then we got the truffle chocolate to dip in. Our little ones loooooooved the chocolate. They also had a blast cooking on the hot plate as well. Anything interactive is fun. I give four stars just due to ventilation honestly. It got quite Smokey and it lingered. It didn't damper anything, just an observation.

Tool the wife for our 4th year anniversary and it was simply awesome and delicious all over. We ended up getting the big four course meal, first when we saw the food we had thought its a little of food, nope we were wrong 3 courses and we were stuffed enough room for dessert. Their chocolate fondue was really, really good. It was everything i expected it to be, my wife loved every bit of it, at first she was a bit nervous about the chees fondue but after tasting it she couldnt get enough of it. We will definitely go back.

Fondue should be a special occasion! And when we visited (prior to the coronavirus lockdown) - we celebrated with the four course dining experience!
Our food was fabulous, but our main service was lacking. A few smart answers, not knowing the menu very well and beating around the bush instead of just saying "you know, I'm not sure about that question. Let me find out for you!" - it made the experience less than it could have been. We did, however, get checked on quite a few times by managers and other servers, so overall, we were fine.
The experience of fondue is fun and all, but the course I'd GLADLY skip is the main course. Just sign me up for cheese and chocolate with a salad please. The main course, mainly consisting of various meats and potatoes, were inevitably overcooked because it's hard to know how long the various items are cooking for! The broccoli and potatoes easily turned to mush (because I forgot about them). Basically, it's just easy to mess it up. Cheese and chocolate though?? Worth the calories every time. Lol.

Please don't come here hungry!!! The food is decent and it's a cute date night but again, not if you have an appetite. The service is kind of slow along with having to cook your food whenever it gets to your table, but the staff are nice and it is a romantic spot. If I could do half stars it would be a 3.5 star rating
