The Madison Diner is a great place to stop by for brunch if you're in the area! The diner is in a retro- looking trailer.
We heard about the long lines, but luckily my group was able to get seated within 10 minutes (we came around 10:30am). The menu has your usual brunch items such as benedicts and coffee. I got the crab benedicts and it came with has browns. Although, it didn't seem like a lot, the portions were huuuge and was worth the price! Would definitely come here again!Business owner information

Want great friendly service with awesome diner food? It's worth the stop here in this retro feeling diner. First off, I love diners and the design of them.
As it was brunch time, I grabbed a frozen peach mimosa which was absolutely delicious and was a nice cool down after a brisk walk through town. Â
Now down to the food...absolutely delicious. I got the corned beef hash, sunny side up eggs and toast with fresh strawberry jam. The hash had chunks of tender beef with peppers and onions. It was topped with hash browns and cheese. The toast was delicious and the strawberry jam is some of the best jam I've ever had. I could have ate it by the spoonful. As for the eggs, cooked to perfection with bright yolks.
For the service, the waitress was the nicest person and helpful. Service here is spot on!
I can't wait to come back when I'm on the island next. This hit the spot for diner food.Business owner information

Located in the beautiful city of Bainbridge Island, The Madison Diner is a cute restaurant that provides delicious food in an inviting atmosphere. Â We ordered the Pork Belly Hash, the Two Eggs Breakfast, Chicken N' Waffles, and the Pork Belly BLT. Â Every item was delicious. Â The portions were plentiful and the service was excellent (thanks Joanie). Â Come check out The Madison Diner the next time you visit Seattle. Â You are just one ferry ride away. We are glad that we did.

Still operating at 50% indoor capacity as of this post due to low staffing...let's get back to work America.
Third time here. Great old school diner atmosphere.
Pork belly hash, and steak and eggs this time. Both meals were very good (steak portion was generous), just thought the pork belly hash was a tad heavy on the potato to protein
The nitro coffee and fresh orange juice are a must. - 80471027663/6/2021
Oh my! What a cute little diner! The whole diner reminds me of the retro diners from movies.
I was actually looking for a brunch place that served Country Fried Steak and The Madison Diner had it and it did not disappoint. It also comes with hash browns, eggs and choice of bread.
A friend got the salmon eggs Benedict and it looked so tasty too.
Yeahhhh come here! - 9172485/17/2021
My parents have come to this diner for years, every Saturday that they've been able. Rain or shine, they are there when the diner opens and eat the same thing.
Believe it or not, I haven't been there ever...until a couple of weeks ago when my folks felt good enough to step out again after recent illness.
What a menu! Â I got so excited wanting to try the pork belly, only to hear "we have everything BUT the pork belly." Â Aw, snap!
Plan B: my husband and I are literally on the hunt for the best Corned Beef Hash on the West Coast, so, naturally, I had to give that a try. Â I admit to not being sure about cheese on my hash, but hey...when in Rome, right?
I did ask for poached eggs and I have to tell you: I have low expectations of diners getting poached eggs right...but these guys NAILED it.
The corned beef was sliced, not chunks so my guess is that this is the same corned beef that gets used on sandwiches for lunch. Â I prefer chunks but this wasn't fatal...corned beef was tasty and moist. Â Potatoes were their hashbrowns, nice and crispy and way plentiful.
What floored me was the biscuit. Â Oh, Lordy...what a flaky, tender and TALL piece of baking that was. Â I don't normally eat biscuits because they invariably disappoint, but these were so good it might make me brave biscuits and gravy again.
Sadly my parents weren't feeling up to going back last Saturday because I was hopeful pork belly would be available. Keep your fingers crossed for next weekend though. Â Maybe I'll get lucky!
Also, Amanda (aka "Amy" -- my dad can't remember her name) was a friendly and gregarious server, a fun addition to great food!Business owner information

WOW! Â Thanks for the good word. Â And all the detailed feedback. Â Our team will love to hear the good news. Â We try not to 86 items but that Pork Belly has become a force to be reckoned with...next time!

Amazing egg's Benedict with homemade Hollandaise, best soft biscuits I've ever had, good bloody Mary's and awesome chicken and waffles. Crispy moist chicken, not greasy and a light waffles. Not dense and rubbery like most diners. Crab Benedict has a healthy portion of fresh Dungeness meat on top, crispy hash browns. Wait can be long but it's worth it or opt for the counter. So happy to have this on our island. PS - bring the pancakes back.

Unique atmosphere with the traditional 1950's diner style building. We loved it for their eggs benedict and they used to serve chocolate chip or blueberry pancakes, a big crowd pleaser for the kids. No more since the pandemic. We'd been frequent customers for the past 9 years since living on the Island. We recently decided to treat ourselves and go anyway for the eggs Benedict. For three people the bill came to $70 with tip, because they made many items a la carte that were previously included in a single meal.
I understand the difficulties and challenges facing restaurants due to pandemic. But I am disheartened because, unlike most residents on the Island we are of a lower income demographic, so sadly we can no longer afford to patronize their business.Business owner information

Hello Lula, At The Diner a main goal of ours is to serve high quality food at a reasonable price. Â We will not sacrifice quality. Â And unfortunately cost of goods have increased significantly. Â . Â I'm sorry that you did not see the value and I'm even more sorry that we will be losing you as a guest. Â David

The wait time might be a bit long, but the area is so cute and we just stood there and talked. I believe the food was worth the wait.
The servers were super nice. They came by often to check if we needed anything and how the food was.
I definitely loved my food. The orange juice was so fresh...I wanted to order another glass just to take it to go Â
The hash brown did need some salt and pepper, but I much prefer that to something too salty.
The eggs were perfectly cooked for my Benedict and the crab meat was shredded and plentiful.
I highly recommend coming here. - Leo T.Bainbridge Island, WA099307/16/2022
I love this place. Â Who doesn't love a train style diner? Â The food was excellent and when I had a special request they accommodated with ease. Â I'll be back often!
