The Local Healing House

The treatments here are heavenly!!!!! It had been so long since I had a massage I was nervous because I was so tense but Erin worked wonders I left a new woman! I booked my next appointment the same day! Great prices and such a calming atmosphere.

I was genuinely excited to try The Local Healing House after hearing about their diverse range of treatments. However, my experience fell far short of my expectations.

To start with, their appointment scheduling system is antiquated and inefficient. I called several times before getting through, only to be told I had to wait weeks for an appointment. When I finally got in, I was kept waiting for nearly 45 minutes past my scheduled time with no explanation.

The ambiance, which is crucial for a place specializing in relaxation and healing, left a lot to be desired. The rooms were dimly lit and had a peculiar odor, almost a mix of stale air and herbs. Not exactly the calming environment one would hope for.

I tried both the lymphatic therapy and acupuncture. The lymphatic therapist seemed unsure and hesitated multiple times during the treatment, making me question her expertise. The acupuncture, on the other hand, was rushed and far less precise than sessions I've had elsewhere.

Moreover, I overheard staff discussing personal matters loudly in the hallway, which only detracted from any sense of relaxation I was trying to achieve.

Considering their extensive list of services, I expected a high level of professionalism and expertise. Unfortunately, that was not the case. I left feeling more stressed than when I entered and lighter in the wallet with nothing to show for it. There are better places to invest your time and money if you're seeking genuine healing and relaxation.

Every time I have an appointment here I leave feeling stress free. The facility is easy tongued and once inside you feel like you've left the country.
I won't go anywhere else to get a massage.

It was a long time since I had a deep tissue massage and when I met Erin she explained to me what she was doing she recommended some other techniques to loosen up my muscles and when she did it was a hurt so good massage. The atmosphere was conducive and relaxing. I am going back for another session as recommended.
