The Landing Pub & Grill

Should have pulled the plug right away, when the server wasn't sure if their Fish & Chips were made in their kitchen or were previously made ?
But I went ahead & ordered ....... Really bad mistake....... Fish tasted fishy & the texture was way off, the batter was soaked with oil. Expected much more.

This is our go-to pub because the food is SO good. Well worth the drive from Richmond to Ladner for the quality. The service is good with friendly servers. The ambiance is warm and cozy feeling. Comfortable chairs and large tvs all around make it a great sports bar.

The service was extremely slow considering there were seven other people and two groups other than ourselves. Doubles were ordered. The bartender was watched pouring singles. After reminding the waitress doubles were ordered she was told by the bartender that doubles were poured. There is a reason this place was empty on a Friday night. People want what they pay alot of money for.

Just popped in for a lunch and beer. Ordered the dinger for the beer and the lunch special of a pepperoni pizza. The pizza was thin crust, cooked well, not soggy. Recommend the pizza

Decent local pub. Food is okay, could be a lot better, especially presentation. Drinks are okay, could also be a lot better. Service is good and vibe is okay. Could have some music playing to set the mood.

The DJ at the landing sucks and needs better musical options. All of her music is from before 2000 and she wouldn't let

It's my local and I love it.

Prices are a little high on both food and drink.

All they need is to have Kilkenny on tap and they'd be on their way to perfection

Real slow getting our French fries out ..holy cow it's a holiday weekend w only a few people in the pub ..sheesh ..the Granville island lager came out fast tho ( but that's easy )
Lol 45 mins for a beer ( was done as the fries arrived ) kitchen bus person made the excuse they were "busy "..zzz ..well it is small town right ..

If there were a 3.5 option, I'd give this place that. The food is good - we had the prawns in butter w/garlic bread, which came as a decent portion & lived that we could order fried pickles. It was good service. Our server was friendly & timely with checking service. Also, the beer special was 3.99 for a craft beer on Friday. Nice. It's a nice casual night out. Why a slightly lower rating? It's noisy with the TV playing sports games & people cheering or chatting loudly. Also, the set up is spread out & bright; I think a bit more creative ambience would be nice. Anyway, it's a nice local pub if you're looking for beer & decent food.

Food tastes nasty! But at least the "snakebite" tasted good :) The service is really crappy -facepalm-
