So after loading 20 bags of mulch onto a cart and proceeding to the cashier I was told sorry sir all the credit card machines are down & we aren't accepting checks - cash only. I said then why don't you have a sign up saying so when customers walk in - I was simply given a shoulder shrug!

This is the laziest, worst run store ever! I stood in the paint department for a half hour waiting patiently for help. No one showed. I finally saw an associate who desperately tried to avoid eye contact as they scurries past. I asked if they could send someone and they yelled over their shoulder that they would as they broke into a full sprint for the break room. Another 10 min goes by and still no help. Now I call the store from my cell phone. I was on hold for 7 min with no answer! I finally gave up and went to Lowe's. Up yours Home Depot. I hope you go bankrupt!

Now military discount has gone to loading onto cell phone site--not honoring ID cards anymore. Not only that, it's a $400 max a year of discounts allowed. Do you know how many people don't have cell phones, old and just can't grasp the idea and use? My husband doesn't know how to even unlock the phone. Poor, not very well thought idea. Lowe's is now our place! N.W.

DON"T buy an appliance here if Hackbarth Delivery is supposed to make the delivery. We bought a refrigerator on Mother's Day May 8 and scheduled delivery for Monday May 23. I got a call Friday May 20 from Hackbarth in Mobile AL giving me a 2:45 - 6:45 window for the delivery on Monday May 23. I received an email from Home Depot/GE on Sunday evening saying my refrigerator was already on the truck and I was the 11th delivery. I tracked it during the day Monday and the count got down to 2 deliveries ahead of me. This was around 6:30. Ok, I supposed they were running late and my delivery would be later that evening. At 7:00. I called the Mobile AL number for Hackbarth to get an update. The lady checked and said that my delivery was already rescheduled and the driver had talked to me. I checked my phone and a call from 606-369-2908 at 6:37 was block by my spam filter. The call was not completed and no message was the left in voicemail. The Hackbarth lady confirmed that the 606 number was their driver. The driver did not tell the truth when he said the delivery had been rescheduled. She sent a message to the local office trying to find out what was going on with this delivery. I heard nothing else from them.

This morning (Tuesday May 24), I went to the local Hackbarth terminal and talked to the manager Patrick. The delivery is now scheduled for Thursday May 26. I told him that was unacceptable and they are trying to make arrangements to get it delivered today.

Two important points - 1. The refrigerator was on the truck with 2 deliveries ahead of it. Go ahead and make all the deliveries even if it is later.
      2. The driver should not have said he talked to me and rescheduled the delivery when he didn't.

Anthony and the sales team at the Teays Valley store are great to work with. This is the third appliance i have bought from them in the last 15 months. There have been problems with Hackbarth on every delivery.

I will shop local the next time I need an appliance.

An employee named Sylvia was very rude and aggressive about signing up for a Home Depot Credit Card, I also saw this employee get frustrated with another employee for what seemed to be not a big deal. She needs to be reprimanded

Bought a refridgator on April 7th 2021 It was free delivery, but I paid to have my old one picked up. Salesman told me not to sign off untl it was unpacked setup and plugged in, The delivery guys said it was drop off only and refused to even unpack it. I called the delivery service and he said they shoul have unpacked and set it up. The next day the mananger came here himself and set it up. The Refridgator ended up being damaged, April 17th Home depot switched it out for a new one. on the second delivery they said the same thing it's a drop off only, but I called the mananger and he instructed them to unpack and plug in, but still refused to set up the shelves and drawers and were suppose to change the door from a right swing to a left swing, called the store and went through 3 people including the assistant mananger,Was told they would send someone to set up on May 4th... Never happened
fininaly went ahead and did everything I could myself the doors still haven't been switched. I will never buy a large appalance from Home Depot again and woulden't advise it. This went on from April 7th to May 4th, no one has ever called me, but every time I called they promised it would be taken care off. I gave up

Tried to order a entry door from web site. Description said 60 inch was available. When put in cart, only 64 inch was available. This was for all MMI doors. Called the store and no one seemed to care or willing to help. Did not have much knowledge about doors, even thought he worked in doors. I even called the on line customer service. No help

Enough is enough with Home Depot. In the past 6 weeks, I've found it impossible to get things done. At least get them done fairly. I went in to order some windows, but the person manning the department wasn't present. Someone walks by and they page them for me. 20 minutes later, I go to the front and have them paged again. 20 more minutes (I know, I can't believe I waited this long) still no one. Finally, someone comes to the back and offers to help me. I tell them I need to order some windows and they inform me that they can't do that and only the person who is currently there to man the department knows how to order windows. I ask for a manager and am told that there are no managers in the store, I didn't believe them, but once he told me this next bit of information I decided I wasn't going to wait around to talk to anyone. The gentleman told me that the person was on lunch and they wouldn't be back for an hour. HD employs get an hour for lunch? They get an hour for lunch and 40 minutes to disappear without question? I ran down the road to Lowe's and ordered my windows, which have since been installed and look fantastic.

A couple weeks ago I call them about doing some custom installs in my home. They tell me that I'll get a call from a number, which they gave me, and we'll go from there. Well, a number called me which wasn't the number given, so I didn't answer. I get a voicemail and see that it's HD about the custom work. I couldn't call them at the moment and planned to call them after work. I get some more calls from them, but I couldn't answer it, so they keep leaving voicemails. 1 call is enough in a day. I get home, call them, no one answers. It was a little after 5pm. Next day, same thing. They call me a bunch, I can't answer or am not near my phone because of work, and when I call back, no one picks up the phone. By the 3rd day, I just said screw it. I was tired of the ridiculous amount of calls, which comes across as very shady to a potential customer, so I just blocked their number. That's when they started emailing me. I could understand if I didn't return their call during business hours, but they had no understanding or patience.

This evening I go into the store looking for plywood sheathing. I load some up on a cart and go to the back to get it ripped in half. I'm then told that it would cost me to rip each board. What? Excuse me? What? You're now going to charge people to rip boards? This takes a few minutes. The cost to HD is negligible. Especially when you factor in all the employees who are just standing around doing nothing and the future moneys lost from customers who now refuse to patron this company, like myself. It's insulting to the customer to charge for something like this. What next, are you going to charge for the nylon string to tie things down? Are you going to start renting carts? There are certain costs you don't pass down to the customer and this is one of them.

Currently Home Depot is doing very well financially, so they decide to gouge every penny out of their customers. If I'm going to pay more, I'd rather pay more at a local business. Good day, HD.

Not good customer service or very helpful when wanting to purchase a major appliance from the Home Depot store in Hurricane. I do not recommend this place at all.

This is one of the worst establishments! The employees are rude, they can't help you with anything. I actually heard a woman say she couldn't work, she needed to get to the bathroom before she pissed down her leg! We had wood cut, the employee couldn't do simple math, seemed stoned and bitched about doing it. Not to mention we get home and it's not straight. I suggest you go anywhere but here for home improvements unless you like things done wrong, being talked about while your waiting for the "qualified" employees to do their job and then only to be barked at by the cashier at the self check out. This place needs to be completely restaffed asap. Horrible just plain horrible. Avoid going here at all costs! I wish I could give this place no stars.
