The Henry has amazing customer service. We placed an order through Door Dash and it arrived incorrectly. When we contacted the Henry to request assistance, Anthony went out of his way and offered to remake and personally deliver new food for us. He didn't hesitate to make it right. This is just one of the many reasons why we love the Henry so much.

I really liked this restaurant. It came as a recommendation from a friend.
The service was very attentive and quick.
The food was prepared really well. The have a very good variety on the menu. I really enjoyed the tuna tartare on crispy rice, the shrimp cocktail sauces were both really good.
I got the Korean skirt steak for my entree and it was really tasty and cooked perfectly.
I did try the bread pudding. The sauce with the raisins was good but a little too sweet. I would've liked more pecans sprinkled on and less raisins to balance it a bit more. Maybe ask for the whiskey sauce on the side to regulate how sweet you want it?
I ate outside and the weather was great. The service was also good outside and you didn't feel forgotten.
Based on my experience, you couldn't go wrong eating there.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mar 17, 2024
We came here tonight as a family of 8. We had a reservation and were promptly seated at a nice large table. Loved the atmosphere and feel of the restaurant. We had 2 toddlers with us and they provided booster seats quickly for us and even gave my little guy some coloring sheets. We usually bring our own coloring because I know some places don't have coloring pages anymore and when we arrived he realized he had left his coloring at home and he was devastated. So I was so relieved when the hostess came back with a couple of coloring pages and crayons!
We ordered drinks and appetizers. Our appetizers were the truffle fries (excellent) and the bread. I didn't have any of the bread but those who ate it loved it.
I really wanted the avocado chicken salad (I've had it before at a different location out of state) but I noticed that it was no longer on the dinner menu. However, when I asked they said they could still make it. I was very grateful for that! Everyone enjoyed their food. I forget what everyone ordered but there were short ribs and a few orders of the fish tacos along with some other items. Overall the food was great and our waitress was also great.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Mar 16, 20241 check-in
Service was great. We had made reservations and made them for outside. It was kind of cold, but they turned on the heater for us.
I ordered, the crispy coconut shrimp, guacamole, and tortilla soup. Hubs ordered the bolognese pasta.
We have been to the one in Coronado and had fantastic food there. The only item we reordered here was the guacamole.
I will say all of the appetizers, to me, were extremely salty. The tortilla soup, was beef broth with 2 small pieces of chicken, with a couple of cheese curds melted and thrown in top, and a few tortilla chips. It was not what I was hoping for at all. It was not a tortilla soup by any stretch of the imagination. It was like a wanna be french onion soup with a tiny bit of chicken and tortilla chips. So odd.
The Bolognese Pasta, was the best item that we ordered. After, we ordered coffee drinks at the coffee bar, and I also got a macaron. My coffee was good. I didn't like what my husband ordered. I think it was a dirty chai with vanilla, flavoring.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 215204255Feb 25, 2024
A friend stopped in for dinner on a Thursday night and the place was packed. The parking lot was full and the way people drive, almost got in 3 accidents due to people not paying attention.
We were able to get a couple spots at the bar and the bartender greeted us quickly. He suggested a great cab for my friend while I had a Pinot Grigio. For dinner I had the hamburger with Parmasan truffle fries and my friend had the short ribs. Both were delicious.
I was disappointed the club sandwich is not on the dinner menu.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 1 - Feb 28, 2024Updated review2 check-ins
Popped back here for happy hour and a quick bite.
As always, the location, service and quality of the food and drinks are excellent.
We had the spicy tuna and crispy rice roll.
We turned up at 4:15 and were able to sit and order pretty much immediately.
Always a winner in our eyes.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Feb 25, 2017Previous reviewHad a date night here. Long wait for a table - staff were apologetic and kept us informed of how much longer we would have to wait. We probably waited at least 30+mins for our table (was a relatively busy night). Server took a drink order so we could sip and wait, as the bar area was full.
Once seated, our server was straight onto taking orders. A quick ask of what was good gleaned some great results.
The food was really good - I can't remember what we had from the menu as this review is some time after we dined there. Their white truffle parmesan fries were really good.
The quality of their food was very fresh, and the service was great. Nice wine list also. - Feb 19, 2024
I've always been a fan of the Henry. This visit was a brunch on the patio for a birthday. It was an excellent day, so naturally, the patio looked and felt glorious!
We ordered the Korean prime skirt steak, all American burger, and the harvest bowl. All of these were very well made. With flavors, ingredients, and seasonings well thought out. At first, the portions looked small, but we were stuffed by the end of it!
The waitress was very friendly and kept her visits frequent but concise with enthusiasm. Overall, we had nothing bad to say! I recommend it for any type of occasion!Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - Mar 17, 2024Updated review2 check-ins
Increased my review from last time due to great service and good food. Didn't go for 5 stars because the prices are SO HIGH.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a nice review. We appreciate your business. Hope to see you at The Henry again soon…..
Sep 24, 2023Previous reviewPricey and small portions.
I ordered avocado toast with the coconut shrimp appetizer. I'd consider the two items equivalent to an entree. If I just had the avocado toast I would have def still been hungry. With a glass of wine the bill was about $50.
Server was good and patio was nice. It was hot but in the shade w/ misters it was ok. - Jan 20, 2024
Stopped by for lunch today with a girlfriend to celebrate her new job! Well, really it was just the interview- so as was lunch instead of dinner!
First thing- lunch time parking is a nightmare!! They do have valet, and the valet line is crazy!
So once you finish working on your patience, you go get in line to wait for a table. That part isn't too bad because they have both indoor and outdoor seating. Today was just a little nippy, so they had the outdoor heaters going! Yaay!
I ordered the seared tuna chop salad- it's my favorite since they took away Houston's down the road. It was delicious! So many things in the salad just a few pieces of tuna- but I'm not complaining.
My friend got the Brussel sprouts, which were really good, and she also got the hummus. It was so pretty I forgot to take pictures of it. My bad!
Anyhow- definitely go! The vibe is pretty chill!!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Dec 18, 2023
Came here for Sunday brunch and enjoyed the whole experience, from the ambiance, to the service and food, everything was great.
The place was absolutely packed, but luckily we had reservations - something that seems like a must for brunch.
We ordered the Blackened Fish Tacos and Rancheros Breakfast Bowl to share. The amount of food was more than enough for two hungry people to share. We sadly weren't able to finish everything no matter how hard we tried, and we did try because damn was that Rancheros Breakfast Bowl amazing.
The food was super flavorful, while both items were really good, I would go back here specifically to get that Rancheros Bowl again.
For the most part prices were on par with other nicer brunch spots, the tacos were a little pricier than I'd normally expect to spend on fish tacos, but that's probably the coastal Californian in me.Helpful 12Thanks 4Love this 14Oh no 0
