So, the store isn't much to look at. It's very small. If you aren't looking for it, you might miss it. I was expecting more for sure. But we stopped in and got a couple pieces of fudge and some toffee during our trip to Maui. I got the Road to Hana fudge -- chocolate, marshmallows, macadamia nuts -- delicious. Kinda funny story -- we took the fudge to the top of Haleakala to watch the sunset. My daughter took a bite and didn't like it. So I took a bite, and another, and another. My wife said, "you can finish it, she doesn't want anymore"...I had finished it a few minutes earlier. :)

We liked it so much that we stopped in the day we were leaving to bring a few pieces home for our friends and family as gifts from Maui. And I just ordered from their web site. I saw a couple of reviews that noted issues with web orders -- mine was perfect. Order was super easy and I was updated via txt at every step of the way.

I'd highly recommend this place. I've had the Road to Hana and Turtle and both were delicious. Sure, it's not cheap but what is on Maui?!?

My husband and I were in a rush on our way to dinner at Lahaina Fish Co. when we walked by the fudge company and the employees were handing out samples. They were so nice and polite that after dinner we returned and bought a "Maui" box full of fudge.

I'll admit, they have some of the best fudge flavors we've ever tasted best it's also the most expensive fudge we've ever purchased too.

My order was incorrect. Sent an email and message via their website and no response. Phone number goes right to voicemail. The items that were correct were good but not the intense flavor I have expected. Visuals don't match the taste. Maybe new owners? They just rebranded as Hawaiian Sweets Company. The company did reach out after my messenger message. They are refunding the incorrect item. So I'm happy.

The store is very, very tiny. The woman who helped us was very nice and we sampled two types of fudge. Maui Mud Pie and Chocolate. Bother we're delicious. They had a promo sign stating "Buy four at $7 each and the fifth one is free-$38.00" so for $$39.60, we got 5 types.

They taste nothing like what we sampled. Every single one is awful. The coconut taste like mint, the Maui mud pie is stale, the chocolate taste like perfume...ugh!!!

There is a number on the bottom...is this the expiration date? Was is last year? Is it when it was made?

      Buyer beware!

We opened it to slice a sample of each for dessert with a group. Everyone agrees something is "off" with this award winning fudge.

Feeling very disappointed and irritated that I'm out $39.60. I should've just put two $20s into the trash, cuz that's where this is going.

I first saw Hawaii Fudge Company at Costco when they had a table set-up and were giving out samples. The second time I saw them was at the Made In Maui County Festival. Both times, I really really liked their turtle fudge. Unfortunately, they were only selling it in boxed sets and not individually. I just wanted that one flavor!

The third time I saw them was when my husband & I were randomly strolling through Front Street in Lahaina. I thought to myself, "That packaging looks really familiar... Oooo, they have sweets. Let's go in!" Sure enough, it was the same company with the turtle fudge AND they were selling them individually. The girl at the counter was really friendly and informative, telling us how the fudge is all made on Maui, how they used to make everything in this tiny Lahaina shop, but now have 2 locations (another one in the Kihei Triangle). In the Kihei location, they also hold their fudge making class, which I've heard about and have been wanting to try. I had no idea it was the same company. It was all coming together!

The same girl proudly told us she had samples of every single flavor and happily obliged when we asked for specific flavors. As much as I loved the turtle flavor, I ended up randomly getting the Maui mud pie. Go figure! I "just knew" I would like that flavor and I do! She also gave us a sample of the toffee and I picked up a box as a gift for someone. Both are delicious ~ Actually, all their flavors are good!

In addition to fudge & toffee, they also sell taffy and coconut candy. Everything in their little shop is $8.50. $8.50 for one little block of fudge, you say?! YEP. I'll pay for a good product that I want & will enjoy ++ you're supporting local. I've paid less for other fudge on island and most of it goes to waste :( This stuff is legit!

They do offer a small kamaaina discount and I was given a rewards card to use for return visits. I definitely recommend them, especially if you are looking for Maui Made goodies to give as a gift or to just enjoy for yourself!

I love that this place sells SMALL pieces of fudge. Everywhere I go, the smallest amount you can get is a half pound and I don't need that much of one flavor sitting around for me to eat by myself.

You'll probably find someone waiting for you just outside of their door to offer you a sample. That's what got my attention. Lol. They had their version of rocky road (with macadamia nuts). Pretty yummy! So I went in to look and found that they offer quite a variety of flavors. AND you can sample any of them - just ask. I sampled quite a few and my favorite by far was their S'moreo. Yup. S'mores and Oreos together in perfect harmony.

Each little piece is already individually wrapped and sells for $9. Buy four and get the fifth free. And if you give them your phone number, you get a free bag of taffy.

I was looking for a gift to bring back to my family- I had ditched my sons and husband to come to Maui! The Hawaii Fudge company was just the ticket.

They offer at least 15 different varieties of fudge, many of them creative and unique, like S'mOreo. For an indecisive person like me, that could have been bad. But the shop kindly lets you sample all the flavors you want. Woot! I found each of them to be creamy and delicious.

At first, I felt like the prices seemed a little steep, but when you buy four pieces, they give you a cute gift box: pretty, and also perfect for protecting the fudge on the flight home. But there's more! They have a basket of extra pieces. They're not wrapped and cut nicely like the others, but you get to grab one freebie of your choice, packaged in a resealable plastic tub. It really helps you justify what you spent on the other pieces. Plus, you get to try yet another flavor. The employees were extremely nice, and I would come back here in a heartbeat.

Well I saw this gem while I was putting together my weekly Yelp (thanks Heather!) and life was never the same. The next day I happened to be going to the west side and I was on a mission to find me some fudge.

I was walking on the mauka side of front street and couldn't find it so I pulled it up on Yelp and gave a call. The gentleman was so helpful and got me to the right side of the street and some landmarks to find this venue.

As you approach, keep eyes peeled. It's small and easy to miss by looking ... But you can smell the sweet fudge. Yum.

The fudge is showcased beautifully and deliciously. There's probably 10-12 different kinds? He offered me to try a few (who can say no to that!?).. They were so delicious. It's been awhile since I've had fudge. The lava flow... Bomb diggity. Coffee + fudge = yes please.

They were buy three, get one free. They come in a little plastic container with a little taster spoon.

On my way out, I noticed taffy and other candies for sale as well. He gave me a few flavors of taffy to hand out to my kids.

This place is great! I recommend getting a few flavors and keeping it in the fridge for a cool summer day snack. Haha. Back to my diet now....

We frequent the Hawaiian Fudge Company as they are my favorite spot to get gifts. Not only do they have many kinds of fudge & caramels, but they also have salt water taffy, and coconut candy among other things. It's easy to miss this place as you are walking along busy front street. After all it is almost the size of a walk in closet, but keep an eye out for the surf board fudge sign on the ocean side of the road near Ono Gelato.

My favorites are the coconut caramels, the "Road to Hana" fudge with marshmallows, caramel, and mac nuts, and the "Lava Flow" fudge with strawberry ribbons. The taffy is of course a must try as well. Ask for a free sample.

The only reason I give 4 out of 5 stars is sometimes when we come in the workers aren't that friendly, and other times they are totally full of aloha. Might just be that we have come on a few off days, but either way we will return for the yummy fudge, and I recommend stopping by.

This is a cute, colorful little store in Lahaina. When I visited Maui, the Hawaii Fudge Company was the perfect place to buy gifts to take home to family and friends. There are so many flavors to choose from, and the buy 4, get 1 free special was a great perk. I have received positive feedback from the recipients of the Road to Hana, raspberry chocolate, red velvet, and chocolate peanut butter flavors.
