Amber is the best!! I have been going to her for almost two years and love her work! She is so amazing for blondes and really takes the time to explain the process and make sure you are happy!

Amber is officially the best hair stylist I've ever had. I have very long and thick hair that can be challenging for some stylists, but Amber's mermaid cut was just what I needed. I've seen haircuts like this before online and I used to request it from past stylists, but no one could ever deliver and instead they'd give me a slightly bulkier cut. Amber's cut creates better volume and flow with my natural wave, and she does it beautifully and effortlessly.

I found Amber by accident one week before my wedding and it was a total blessing in disguise. I had an appointment at my usual salon for my wedding cut, and when I showed up, the salon had completely shut down and no one told me. I was in total shock to see the building completely empty through the window. My stylist was out of the country due to a family emergency, so the salon was supposed to communicate with clients on her behalf, but they didn't.

I was so upset, and this happened on a Sunday when many salons are closed. I desperately called around to other salons, including The Guest House, and Amber got back to me within just about 2 hours. She happened to have a cancellation the very next day so she got me in right away, and she truly gave me the best haircut I'd ever had. I am forever grateful to her for this, and now I am so happy to call her my permanent new hair stylist!

WOW! The reviews everyone gave Amber is spot on. I just came back from having my hair done by her and I have to say she is AMAZING. We had a phone consultation and the detail she went into during the consultation and at the salon is awesome. It's a beautiful salon. It's nice and bright. I highly recommend her to anyone who needs a new hairstylist.

After scrolling through Yelp on hair stylists for men in the Sherman Oaks area, I stumbled upon The Guest House and it's owner, Scott Cassettari. I decided to reach out to Scott via text and he immediately hit me back with a few availability dates and times. I met him on a weekday morning and he greeted me with a friendly welcome. The Guest House is located in a great area of Sherman Oaks, on Ventura. Plenty of metered street parking or residential parking nearby. The Guest House is clean, super bright and modern and plenty of space for many hair stylists and customers. Scott is an expert at cutting and styling, all with a wonderfully pleasant and friendly attitude. The Men's Cut was $75, which is on par for a cut of this quality. Love Scott and the Guest House. Will be back for my next cut and style.

Amber Jean did a wonderful job! She gave me a hair treatment and kept my length with her beautiful signature mermaid cut. 10/10 recommend her!

Scott was so skilled - quick and thorough. I have never been so happy! The hair feels fantastic and the color is exactly like my hair- I have gotten so many compliments and can't believe I actually am able
to have the length and body in my hair to have beautiful waves, braids and curls! If you want seriously beautiful long hair that actually looks like your own color I highly recommend Scott and his salon!

I came in knowing I wanted something subtle like peek-a-boo highlights but wasn't sure if it could be achieved with my short hair. But little did I know, Monica was a hair color magician!! She was confident in her skills and took the time to explain every foil placement to make sure there weren't any surprises. She collaborated with me on what I wanted but also gave me her professional honest opinion about what I could expect. Monica is not only a great hair stylist, but an awesome human being that's easy to talk to! I can tell she really cares about her work and will go above and beyond to make sure a satisfied customer leaves the guest house!! I am so glad I trusted Monica to give me the "new hair, new me" peek a boo highlights that I wanted for 2023! I left the salon feelin' myself like Beyoncé, ya feel me??? ‍
