The fabulous Glendalia Boutique Hotel sits in the heart of Historic Glendale, which dates back to the 1850′s. The Glendalia is on an active train track so if you are wanting a taste of Americana this is the place. Please note that the trains do run through the night and blow the horns! Each elegantly appointed suite is like home, only better. Each features a King or Queen-size bed, living room, kitchen or kitchenette, and master bathroom with marble sinks and heated towel bars. Most have walk in showers. In-room complimentary breakfast created by the Glendalia Chefs, is included in our very affordable rates and is heated in your microwave to be eaten in your room at your convenience.

My wife and I just did the wine and demo night. We had an amazing night out and really enjoyed doing something a little different. The owner and chef were fantastic!
The night felt like a fancy get-together with old friends with hosts that just happened to be pro-chefs who enjoyed showing us cool cooking tricks and recipes over champagne and wine. I have eaten pork chops all over the world; my wife makes a mean pork chop herself, that said the pork chop that was served to us was literally, far and away the best pork chop either of us have ever had. Even the kale, which in my mind has always been a curse word, left me wanting more. For a fantastic night out and serious relationship brownie points, I strongly recommend an evening here! I hope to see them again soon for an in-depth cooking lesson.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Glenn S.Cincinnati, OH204Dec 2, 2018
We recently scheduled an interactive dinner here for a work event and the experience was nothing but fantastic! Melissa, Chef Maura, and the rest of the Glendalia crew provided outstanding ambiance and a delicious menu that allowed our team to celebrate and have fun in the process. We were allowed to bring in our own adult beverages and when we first arrived, were greeted with tasty appetizers. We then started the interactive part of dinner with all 6 couples retreating to a cooking station where we made different parts of our menu. We even competed for fun prizes. Afterwards, we were all able to enjoy our own food at a large dining room table. The entire process was amazing all while enjoying delicious food. Thanks Melissa, Chef Maura, and the rest of the team for a great evening!

The Glendalia now offers a culinary studio! It's so awesome! Rachel is such a helpful chef and I had a fantastic time at the class. It's BYOB too - so bring a bottle of hooch and cook with your friends! I came with a few friends and we had a great time. I can't wait to go back!

We came in to celebrate a birthday, stay the night and enjoy cooking in the studio. All I can say is that every part of the experience was much more than I expected. The room was spacious, clean and nicely decorated and the check in process was simple.
More than that though the experience down in the culinary studio was superb. We arrived for a cooking class on a cold winter night when no one else wanted to leave the house. Even though we were the only two to brave the icy rain Rachel and Corrine still made the evening a special one to remember. I think this speaks to their commitment to service. Not only did we get to learn all about their cooking techniques but we also got to socialize and enjoy their welcoming company. It turned out to be an excellent evening.
The food was absolutely delicious, the cooking was fun to watch, the space was nice and the wine they developed especially for the hotel was delicious. I would recommend a stay, a class or both at the Glendalia without hesitation. It's people who make a business what it is and Rachel and Corrine make this place amazing!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Teri H.Hamilton, OH02Apr 19, 2018
I visited the culinary studio on 4/17/18. I paid $96 for 2 people and upon arriving found the studio closed. I called a number that was taped to the door and a woman answered and said the class was cancelled. She said I received a call and email informing me of this but I did not. She seemed surprised when I asked for a refund and said I'd need to text her my credit card number to get my money back. Of course I would not do that. So I paid for a class that didn't happen and was beaten out of $96 for it. BUYER BEWARE!!! Avoid this place at all costs!!

Wonderful place, close to Cincinnati. Spent an evening there to celebrate our anniversary. Maybe. Melissa--the owner--was wonderful. Very helpful, responded to questions right away. There room was very nice. The only one available was a large suite, had a bedroom with a queen and another with two twins. Had a kitchen and very nice living room. She also provided a nice breakfast since the local bakery (where the included breakfast is provided) is closed on Sundays. Overall a wonderful B&B, we will definitely go back.

We stayed the night to celebrate a birthday and enjoyed dinner in the culinary studio. Rachel and Corrine took the experience over the top and made everything memorable and very special. The room we stayed in (#5) was huge! We had our own living room, full-size kitchen, large bedroom and updated bathroom. Very nice & quiet area with surrounding shops and restaurants. Highly recommend for any occasion!

We had a fantastic stay! My husband and I came to the Glendalia to celebrate Valentines Day and to get away for a few days. We could not be happier with our choice. The staff was kind and went the extra mile, the suite was lovely, breakfast was delicious (heart shaped pancakes!) and the town was a delight. There were roses when we entered, frosted cookies & chocolate covered strawberries, even rose petals on the bed. We absolutely recommend the Glendalia!

My husband and I stayed at the Glendalia Boutique on our wedding night. Although the room was lovely, the hotel staff was not very helpful and the organization was not good.
We made the reservation well in advance of our stay, and never received a confirmation email or telephone call. I brought a gift the day before our stay, which I wanted to be put in our room for my husband to find upon our arrival. When I got to the hotel (during office hours as indicated on the website) there was no one there and the door was locked. I call the hotel telephone number and a woman answered the phone and said she was out grocery shopping and would not return for at least 45 minutes. I told her about the reservation we had for the following evening and she said she couldn't remember if that reservation was on the books. . . that made me nervous! I ended up leaving the gift with the hair boutique next door at the request of the woman from The Glendalia (it did make it to the room).
Later in the day my husband called to confirm the reservation.
On the evening of our stay, the room was lovely and clean and the bed was cozy. A nice breakfast assortment had been left in the refrigerator in the room.
However, the next morning we awoke to only one towel in the bathroom for showers. I tried to call the front desk for more towels but couldn't get the telephone to work (not that it would have mattered because no one was working at the desk when we left anyway). My husband graciously allowed me to use the towel first and then he used the same one. . . no bath mat either.
Overall, the room was very nice, but the customer service and organization was lacking big time!!!!
Too bad because it's in a wonderful location and could be such a cute bed and breakfast!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Paul P.Cincinnati, OH026Dec 23, 2014
My daughter and I took a class there. It was only 4 total, but they still held the class. They treated us very well and let my daughter get involved in all the activities. We had a great time and look forward to the pasta class.
