I called because my garbage disposal began to leak water from the bottom (Not repairable) late in the afternoon.  I called Family Plumber who I have used in the past.  The tech (Steve) came out within 1/2 an hour gave me the estimate to the replace the disposal which I agreed to. I'm not a weekend plumber and it would've taken me forever to figure out how to replace. Steve had the disposal replaced within 45 minutes and did some minor adjustments to the drain lines to fit the larger disposal.  Very satisfied with the work and would use them again.

That was the best experience that we have ever had with a plumber and plumbing company. We called and Vicky quoted us a time for later that afternoon, and within 5 minutes called back and said someone could be there within 15 minutes.  Josh was great as he quickly assessed the situation, told us the price and fixed the issue.  When we redo the kitchen, this will be our first call!! Thanks Josh!

All we can say is FANTASTIC.  Our water line from the street broke and the line was under a mess of concrete, walkways, and fruit trees.  The guys worked two days and solved the problem replacing the entire run with Type L one inch copper pipe.  They replaced the old line and solved two other problems at the same time (making the shut-off easier to get to and replacing a hose bib that was on PVC).

No cussing or fussing... They cleaned up after every days work and marked the holes in the ground for safety purposes.  Polite young men (we are in our 70's so most men are young).  Robbie (a new employee) and Josh were terrific!  

They kept us informed as to where they were in the process.  The job was done in two days and cleaned up beautifully... Could not hardly tell that they had been there except the water meter stopped running!

Better than that, the bill came in well under their original estimate (about $2300 instead of an expected $2550).

First class operation!  We have used them for years but for nothing this big!  We will continue staying with them!

Had a water leak from upstairs ceiling, called at 8am, owner arrived before 11am as promised.  Within 10 minutes identified problem not to be plumbing but A/C.  Referred me to a good A/C guy, checked all my plumbing fixtures, did not even charge a service fee.  Will use Family Plumbing for all future needs.

Anthony recently installed a kitchen faucet and did so quickly and efficiently. I am completely happy with his work. He is a pleasant person and I'm happy to have him do some more work for me.  The price seems reasonable to me for the installation. Next stop, bathroom faucets.

We just moved to our new house and of course you never really know the people who lived there before. Our sink clogged last night and we have a house warming party tomorrow. I had such a wonderful experience with this company from the moment I called the lady was super nice and assured me someone would be at my house in ONE hour! I was shocked it would be so fast. Anthony was the guy who came. He said He needed to snake it. Once he was done he cleaned everything up and the sink works perfect :) Such a good experience that I asked him to give me a quote for another project. Needless to say I will be using them again! Happy customer. Thank you life saver!

Anthony from FP  was excellent.  Had a overflow in bathroom.  He explained what needed to be done, and fixed the problem in less than 2 hours.  He was on time, very fairly priced, and a very pleasant man to boot.

I would highly recommend this business!!!

This was an AWESOME experience.  Robbie was our technician and arrived early (don't worry- we were notified in advance).  He was efficient yet personable.  He was quick to provide options (as well as the reasons for each).  He made sure to leave the space looking better than what it was.  Overall we were so satisfied that we plan on using them again for some kitchen sink maintenance.

These folks are the best! Here is my experience....I have hired many different companies to perform work at our home. I usually find it a stressful experience. I had an emergency plumbing situation and had no choice but to have the main water supply turned off. I asked a neighbor for a recommendation and The Family Plumber came highly recommended on Nextdoor and Yelp. I was not in a situation to shop around so I made the call. I spoke with Vicky to explain my situation and Mike, the President/Found came to assess the situation in under 90 minutes. Mike explained my options and provided options based on price and what made sense. I quickly felt he was not there to take advantage of my dilemma. He provided a quote promptly as promised the next morning and had folks on site the next day so we could have water.

Steven and Brendan spent two long days carefully tearing up my lawn and running copper piping. They could tell I love my plants and took extra care while displacing them. They left me with a clean worksite each day and when they were done they put my grass back and even helped me relocate one of my large palms to a better location. They were always smiling and didn't mind me checking on the progress often. They even created two shut off points in case I have a future need to work on my sprinkler system.

I figured while this was going on I would have the water heater replaced. Anthony did a great job at replacing my heater, added new piping and was able to think out of the box for me. I wanted to move the flame exhaust vent so it would not be in the way of new gutters. He verified the various options in his code book and came up with a perfect solution. Even the gutter folks commented on how secure the bracketing work was done. Anthony noticed I was hoping for a higher water shut off out front so I would not have to bend down too far. He said no problem and promptly welded the copper piping to a higher level for me.  The next day I asked about some leaking water at my sprinkler controller. He came by after work to take a look and said the unit was older and the bladder needed some purging. He did a temporary fix for me and ended up coming back a few days later and installed brand new controllers. This time they look much more professional than the last time I had the work done.

I am so happy I found a professional and courteous team for future plumbing needs. They came fully prepared with professional trucks that are easily identifiable and were loaded with all sorts of supplies. The employees are courteous and thoughtful. They treated me and my property with respect. They gave me a time they would arrive and they were there on time. They were not rushing the job near the end of the day. It was crazy hot out and they still had a smile all day long. They must really love what they do. They put in the time and effort to perform outstanding work. I will use them anytime I need plumbing work in the future and highly recommend them based on the quality of work and the level of professionalism. Thank you for doing everything so perfectly!

Another place I forgot to review after a couple of services. Major pipe issues fixed a couple years back, this year we called up for a hot water heater replacement AM appointment- showed up on time, two guys in and out with no mess left and we have a hot water heater that doesn't whistle and hum from an ailing thermocouple (google that word) it a long word for something I can't repair. For the Los Al, Long Beach area I am not sure why you would choose anyone else?

I've been a homeowner since '83 and Robbie from Family Plumber was the most professional plumber we've ever used.  He knew what he was doing and worked fast to clear the main line.  I'd highly recommend this company.

The Family Plumber was Great!!! Josh, Robbie and Stephen, really did a great job! They repaired some piping, replaced my water heater, installed a toilet, and installed washer and refrigerator hook ups for me. I called three different plumbers and this company sent Josh to give me a bid. He was the only one that took his time to provide me with a thorough and competitive bid. Once the work started, they were all friendly, had positive 'can do' attitudes, and were contentious to clean up after themselves. It was clear that they take a lot of pride in their work and keep the best interest of the customer in mind. I would highly recommend this company to anybody needing plumbing repairs. They really do stand out compared to their competitors.

Looked at Yelp to get these guys and their work was fine but you had better not be looking for a reasonable price.  Guy looked under the sinks for a minute and said $615.  At this stage they were here and I needed the job doing so I said OK.   This was for removing and installing 2 bathroom sink faucet sets and supply valves.  Took 2 people 2.5 hours.  No breakdown of charges on the final bill which was $614.
Asked for a quote on the removal, installation and purchase of a new 50 gallon water heater was given a lump sum of $1485.  No breakdown again and no discussion of what sort of water heater, where alone there could be at least a $200 difference between a pilot light and an electronic ignition.  Looks like they price on what they can get away with!?

What a class act Company.  I needed someone who specializes in Pex.  Recommended by a friend who is a plumber.  Vicki the secretary is a sweetheart and I love the way she always ended the call with "have a blessed day."  Josh the plumber showed up on time and was very informative and kind.  Finished in less time than expected and Dropped my original quote nearly $100 and guaranteed the work for 1 year.  Would recommend to anyone.

I called The Family Plummer around 1130am. A nice lady gave us a arrival time between 4-5pm. Michael arrived around 215pm and was done before 3pm. We had a shower drain
with no flow a complete clog. Snaked the drain, cleared the clog!  Yay!! Job done. Fast and efficient. Professional, super friendly. Highly recommend! Good and fair price.

These guys came over and capped a couple water lines that would be cemented over. So to prevent a leak in a spot that could no longer accessed the job had to be done absolutely right. What was weird is that 2 plumbers came. They were nice enough and did the original job well and courteously. What I realized later was one guy was more of a salesman. He started offering other services. Just be sure to get multiple estimates from licensed plumbers.

We needed a new faucet installed and a dishwasher hooked up. Had a fantastic experience with the Family Plumber. The dispatcher was really friendly and the technicians were just as nice. Came to do my job in less than 2 days. Customer for life. Thank you

Called them for second opinion after Rotor Hero tried to snake the main line and said something was blocking the snake and would cost $4000-180000 to fix.  Called The Family Plumber and they snaked it and were a fair price, not much more than Rotor Hero.  Wish I had called them first.  Also, Rotor Hero left my toilet off, I asked Family Plumber and he told me how to do it instead of charging me to do it.  I did it based off his directions and Youtube in less than an hour.  They are the best.
