I've walked by here a few times and finally had a chance to stop in for coffee. They serve Contour coffee which I've been excited about trying ever since I noticed that its roasted and packaged right on Westlake.

The man who made our drinks was super nice and the coffee was great too. There are covered tables and chairs out front which is a great place to escape from the sun and watch the lake while sipping on your cool icy caffeinated beverage.

Nice spot to stop for a quick, delicious, cheap breakfast with a nice view. I had a great time kickin back, looking at the water, watching the joggers go by with their happy dogs. I was amazed by how cheap the breakfast was! Breakfast sandwich for less than $6, score! Oh yeah, the woman working there was extremely friendly. Will definitely go back.

Great view and great espresso. They use Conduit coffee roared in Fremont. Had a panini and espresso and sat on the patio and enjoyed the wonderful view of Lake Union.

Good coffee and food, but service is really slow. REALLY slow. I work just a block away and would be a good customer if it didn't take so long to get my food/coffee. I'm all for building community, but come on. If I have time to chat I'll stick around AFTER you make my coffee. Maybe they need to reconfigure their kitchen, because the last time I got a sandwich they made it from scratch (didn't have any prepped to throw on the panini press when ordered) and basically pulled out one ingredient from the fridge, used it, put it back and got out the next ingredient. If you are looking for speed, this is not the place for you.

Stopped in for breakfast and had an awesome yogurt parfait and a hot tea. The two women were so friendly and helpful. My husband and kids had sandwiches (one was a smoked duck which my son really enjoyed). i would stop here again.

I just had a salad today from the electric boat cafe. The salad was tasty but really small. Like tiny. Ridiculously tiny actually. I paid first--which was the mistake. For an $11 salad, I received the equivalent of a side salad with chicken. In fact, I've received bigger side salads than what I received as my full size portion. I was literally still hungry after the tiny tiny lunch that I had--and I'm not a big person 5'2" and around 100lbs. The cafe needs to work on portion sizes. The woman who served me said that they've been open since April(?) If that's the case then please please make sure that you right size the portions and I'll make an exception since you are new.
