The food is great.... from their least to most expensive dishes.... they are all great. The staff is very friendly and helpful when ordering. I have to say one "little thing" that bothered me a bit.... it's very noisy and they don't have enough booths, for people with disabilities (who truly need it)
But, their dessert case is my FAVORITE PART!! ALL the cakes and desserts, are absolutely phenomenal!!! And it ends your evening perfectly! (I do wish the dessert prices were more reasonable.....)
But, I would definitely recommend The Diner, for semi dress up or casual!

The good was served hot and fresh. Server Lou was cheerful and helpful. We were in a large group but food was served quickly. The restaurant and bathrooms were clean.
The desserts looked amazing but very large. They had such a large variety. It would be nice if the could offer small portions with 3 or 4 picks to sample.
I intend to take my family soon.

We went for a later dinner at this diner on a weekday. It was fairly quiet. The service was virtually non-existent - it was almost as if they wanted as little to do with us as possible. While that may be true, it doesn't necessarily have to show.

The food was decent, a good middle of the road in terms of quality though the portion sizes were great. I ordered the asiago pasta while my girlfriend ordered the panini. We weren't too impressed coming here and we'll probably opt for other options nearby should we find ourselves contemplating where to eat. Though it was worth checking out being new to the area.

Never again will I go here!!
There were so many things wrong but I will list a few.
When I made this reservation a month ago I ask for a private room because there was going to be 16 of us coming from my husband's funeral, and the lady assured me that we would have a private room.
When we arrived, we had to wait at least 10 minutes for them to set up a table in the middle of the restaurant and no private dining room because it was taken. When I called to confirm the reservation on Thursday before our dinner on Saturday, the guy acted like I didn't have a reservation, but he took my name down , when we were seated, we were served our drinks slowly and the waitress finally took our order and the appetizers were wrong. My meal was supposed to come with fries. It came with onion rings, my grandson steak was supposed to be medium rare. It was well done. Other meals were completely wrong also. When I spoke to the manager, Eric, I explain to him lots of the items were wrong and the waitress was way overwhelmed. There should have been two people for that big of a table and he said he would adjust it. That was his words when I got the bill which was over $400 there was no adjustment, and when I asked him about the adjustment, he just shrugged his shoulders and said we ate the food and there was no adjustment, so I will never be back here again. It was a horrible experience at after a sad afternoon so in my expectation, the manager was not a very good manager to hear all the complaints and not adjust the bill at all.
Good luck if you go here especially with a large group.

I'm always looking for an opportunity to try new places and The Diner at Webb again was the lucky winner that day. They have lots of menu options to choose from breakfast, brunch and dinner. I decided to start with a simple breakfast offering. The pancakes, while filling, were missing something and I'm not sure what it was. This means I must try again. From what I understand, this place is under new management. So this means kinks have to be worked out. Above all, I would suggest stopping by and trying them out to see if they have something to suit your fancy.

So let's review the Diner at Web Gin. I'm going to try to be fair because I was visiting my sister in Atlanta and I had my taste buds set for my usual Atlanta breakfast spot Nana's but my sister didn't feel like driving the hour to Monroeville so her husband suggest Diner at Web Gin.

We were seated promptly, the waitress was attentive although it took a while for her to initially get to us. The restaurant is big and tastefully decorated. What I like about the south that is lacking up here in Maryland, is that they have to display their health department scores. This particular restaurant had a 99. Very nice.

The food was decent. I didn't order anything too hard ...chicken and waffles. Thankfully they allowed you to order chicken wings from another menu to go with the waffles other wise it would have been chicken tenders. I just don't understand why so many restaurants pick chicken tenders over a nice wing with the waffles.
I'll give this place a 4/5. Not my first choice but the food was decent.

I ordered the gyro sandwich and it was one of the worst gyros I've ever tried eating. The big chunks of meat that didn't have much taste, no tzatziki sauce on the sandwich. First time and last time eating there.

As we continue our exploration of our new city and it's surrounding restaurants, my hubby and I tried The Diner for lunch!

We recommend! The establishment was well taken cared of and clean. The service was friendly and attentive. The food continued the winning streak! We had the calamari for appetizers, which was good. I had the buffalo chicken wrap , the chicken is crispy (fried) which I must have missed but was good! My hubby had the classic signature hamburger, which he said was " one of the best I've had in a while"! Great food and good prices! Will be back for Wine Wednesday!

We also had a slice of the strawberry shortcake, which is the most popular and it lived up to expectation!

      Will be revisiting!

      Cheers!
