Came to try the buffet lunch special! Costs $20 per person. It looks small but was VERY filling after finishing 3 of the portions. There is a mix of different curry. I am unsure if it is the same every day. My favorite was the vegetable dumplings which is the creamy mustard selection next to the red chicken and chicken tikka masala. Everything else was very flavorful and delicious. It came with plain naan. The service was great. Personally, for me the mix of different flavors was a little too much for me so I will be ordering a single item next time but, I encourage everyone to try it since it gives you a taste of so many different dishes. You might find a new favorite!

Came by the other night because I was craving Indian food. I hadn't ever been here before and have been wanting to try it out for a while.
We called to place an order for pick up since they were about to close in an hour. I'm so glad I did because the food was delicious! So delish that I forgot to take a picture of the damn food! Ugh!
Here's what we ordered:
- 2 Chicken Tikka masala -
Boneless chicken simmered in a creamy tomato gravy with a succulent flavor of funugreek
- 2 orders of naan
- coconut rice
All packed with spices and flavor. I'll be sure to be back to try other things on their menu....and to take pics of their food.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jake O.Long Island, NY12289Aug 19, 2021
A great, unique place to eat.
We were greeted by a man who was kind and gave us a smile. He showed us to the dining area which had nice decor that was authentic. It was cool how one wall is actually part of a bus; it was classy, modern and authentic all at the same time.
The service was wonderful. I drink a lot of water and waiters and waitress' are constantly watching to help your needs. I love that.
Finally the food. The food was fantastic. Everything came out piping hot, and tasted great. Indian food has such a unique flavor with new and refreshing spices that I have never tasted before. Many of these dishes perfectly balance sweet and savory.
I absolutely would come back and am looking forward to coming back!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Dec 30, 2019
A small parking lot, but the interior is big and beautifully decorated. I came here with a group to enjoy their lunch buffet. I haven't tried a ton of Indian food and don't know most of their names...so here we go.
I had low expectations going in because of the mixed Yelp reviews, but ohhhhboy I was so surprised at how good the food was. Their dal Makhan was my favorite. I dipped the fennel seed crackers into that and their goat curry. I wish there were 1-2 more options of rice to go with the many dishes. The naan bread was very dry, so I didn't feel like there was a delicious carb to pair with the various dishes. There was also a white sauce near the salad bar that I really liked. They have a live dosa making station where a guy makes delicious dosas for each table. The red sauce that came with it was very good. They also had bready ginger balls in a syrup(all the way on the left of one of my photos) that I enjoyed. Wish I had more stomach space for this buffet. If you haven't tried
much Indian food, my advice is to go in with an open mind. Don't be afraid to try new things.Delicious food! I will be back.Helpful 35Thanks 0Love this 31Oh no 0 - Al L.Brooklyn, NY049113Nov 11, 2020

Went to the curry club for lunch recently. Upon entering the service is nice and the restaurant is clean, nicely decorated, with a great ambiance. There is even a room inside of a train car!!! There was a man cooking appetizers in the entrance and he brought then to our table once we were seated. I got the lunch buffet and was soo impressed! I am not the biggest meat eater so I was extremely happy to see all of the vegetarian options. The masala was my favorite; however, everything I ate was extremely tastey!!! I will 100% be back here soon. I had such a great time and I think this might be my new favorite restaurant

The love and hate expressed in the reviews for this place is unnerving before dining here. I put that all aside and dove in with an open mind as I don't like to carry a baseless bias going into things.
It's rare to find a place that sits on both, complete opposite sides of a spectrum... but, I think I get the divide.
When driving up and realizing the place shares a building with the velvet lounge and another restaurant, I wasn't expecting a lot to be quite honest; it wasn't for this reason it was just a gut feeling that this meal wasn't going to "wow me."
Upon walking in around 9pm (an hour before closing) there was no one at the counter, never being there before, I was glad to have gone with someone who was because I would have either left or mosied along up the stairs with my impatient attitude.
Someone came down to get us shortly; as we sat the restaurant was full and a good sign of what's to come was that the tables were full of predominately people of Indian decent (that's about as PC as I know how to be, I like seeing hispanics in Mexican or Spanish restaurants, polish in polish restaurants, you get the idea) the place was nice the people... hit or miss.
I don't understand why servers anytime ever think it's a good idea to be rude or unfriendly, they immediately rushed us but at least I can say this was done in the friendliest manner possible. A few of the gentleman working weren't at all friendly until the end of the meal, one gentleman smiled and helped us out a bit more.
Switching focus from the mixed service and onto my own mixes feeling on the food, let's talk about it:
We ordered a couple beers, and with it they put some complimentary papadam on the table with a couple tasty sauces. This was a nice lil freebie so to speak.
The rest of the meal was good but not spectacular. I love the coconut rice and since they make you pay for rice (weird) you might as well buy this wonderfully cooked rice with the addition of shredded coconut.
The korma was nice and nutty with the sweet raisin
The tika masala was fine as well but both dishes lacked a bit of depth to me. The big chunks of chicken weren't as tender as I'm accustomed to in either dish and that's sorta where my negative mood about the place really comes in.
The flavors are there to an extent but the price of all this was a bit high for what you get.
I wasn't disappointed with the Curry Club but I wasn't thrilled either; let's just say if this was an actual club, I don't think the membership fee would be quite worth it for me.
Oh!
PS- the garlic naan was good, and the simosa chat was nice as well!Helpful 10Thanks 0Love this 9Oh no 0 - Mar 19, 2020
Ordered delivery from here today. The lunch special was $13.00 and there was so much food. Definitely worth the price and the driver very nice. I enjoyed it and it wasn't too spicy for me. I ordered the non vegetarian lunch box. Unfortunately there was no dessert like the details said. The packaging was nice and neat. Containers were wrapped in plastic wrap to prevent spilling . And the Naan was nice and warm in foil.

Always so impressed with whatever I order from the Curry Club. We ordered for delivery and they were quick and very accommodating to multiple allergies including dairy and nuts. The Biryani Rice is always my go to and we tried the Saag Chicken Curry that was amazing. We also got the Lamb Achari (i think that's what it is called) and Beef Curry. So good!
If you're ordering and have no idea what to get just know everything will exceed your expectations, I told everyone in my family that and they said I was right!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jessenia P.Kings Park, NY723360Apr 2, 2021
