I want to say something about a woman who works in the office named Joy. Anytime there was an issue, we had a question or concern, Joy has helped us! She doesn't just help, but she's actually a pleasure to talk to. That makes a big difference. It makes you feel safe, knowing there's someone in the office who in knowledgeable, informative and kind.

The benefits are: a consistently well-maintained open pool with lifeguards and seating area in the shade and under the sun during the summer, a fire pit area with chairs, a grill area if you were to like barbecues, a playground, the convenient washer/dryer and washing machine in the apartment, a relatively affordable lease compared to their local competition, a safe community, a free parking, a short driving commute to local businesses such as an Asian grocery store, a CVS, a Planet Fitness, dry cleaners, the AYCE restaurant Ichiban sushi, a park with a larger playground, no pests in their apartments, enjoyable balconies to have meals and drinks outside during warm months, walking paths throughout the community with flowers and you will spot adorable chipmunks, rabbits, and squirrels, etc.
The points of improvement are: excruciating long time to get maintenance repairs done in your apartment (i.e.: over two week wait to have a broken shower push button repaired causing a leaking faucet in the bathtub and water leak behind the bathroom wall fixed despite a maintenance request put on their website, two e-mails sent to the unresponsive front office, and a phone call to the uncaring management office...and the repairs needed to prevent mold in the bathroom are still not done.), your rent will go up every year, your lease states you will have to pay for any repair to the sliding door to access your balcony even if the repairs were due to normal wear and tear, etc.
Moreover, if your lease were to be less than six month, your monthly rent will be truly over-priced. I know this first hand as I am in the process of moving out of this community...Helpful 19Thanks 0Love this 14Oh no 0 - Kristina C.The Colony, TX3713May 19, 2018
Don't waste your time and money on this place or your health! Our family has been living at the Crest with a leaky roof and ceiling turned moldy. Every time it rains, pools of water collect on our ceiling leaving behind massive water stains, mold, and sheetrock starting to crack and cave. We have sent service requests, called the office, sent emails, and spoken to the office staff directly in person about this issue and STILL it has not been resolved for months! The staffs incompetency is costly as it is making our family sick from the mold exposure. We have two very young children so it especially makes us angry that they are exposed to this. Do not rent here!!!

One of the best Apartments Complexes I have ever lived in! I have been at The Crest for 3+ years now and I love it. The community is quiet and peaceful. Having a washer and dryer in the unit is a HUGE plus! The pool is huge and open everyday until 8pm. I would definitely recommend moving here.

I just moved into the crest in May and it is an absolutely beautiful community. So far we are extremely happy with the people and area. The renovations done on the apartments are beautiful as well. Would recommend!

My girlfriend and I recently moved into The Crest. Jerren from the leasing office has been extremely helpful every step of the way. He has accommodated our every request and helped us find an apartment in short notice. Jerren is still helping us as current residences.

TERRIBLE! Changed our apt 3 times the day before NYE and then failed inspection and were forced to move to a neighboring condo. Management is incompetent and didn't work with us what so ever. I cant say enough bad things about them.

The staff at the Crest is unconscionably uncaring, unknowledgeable, and altogether unhelpful. We have had a number of maintenance issues during our stay here, very few of which have been taken care of promptly. When the front office is notified by us they claim they are unable to get in touch with their maintenance staff. This is absurd. Currently our toilet has been broken for over 24 hours and we have received the same answer from the office. The bathroom sink clogs regularly, the front closet has been broken since January 21 and maintenance has still not come by.
We frequently experience mold in the apartment around the window and door frames as well as constant mildew in the bathroom from poor ventilation (although the fan sounds like a jet engine it actually does nothing to pull moisture out of the space).
We have had the grill area closed off without warning and without reasonable explanation. The advertising on the website that discusses a cyber cafe and business center is a flat out lie. They do not exist in this complex.
We are frequently kicked out of our parking lot for "maintenance" activities and yet there are broken outdoor light fixtures that are lolling to the side and laying on the ground and have been so for months.
The office closes without warning and we often have less than 24 hours warning when things like the sliding doors and windows are being replaced, or the parking lot is being repaved. When contacted with questions the front office does not have answers about time lines nor will they give you direct access to supervisors.
Though this complex is advertised and priced as "luxury" the buildings are old and poorly maintained. I strongly recommend choosing somewhere else to live. It is absolutely ludicrous how little this company cares about their residents and buildings.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Racheal T.North Brunswick Township, NJ1513Jun 29, 2019

It has been such a pleasant experience living at The Crest. My husband and I moved here last winter and the staff has been super helpful and accommodating. We definitely plan to renew our lease when the time comes. We love the atmosphere and scenery. The property stays well maintained. We are especially enjoying the summertime amenities of the pool with comfy cabanas, grilling and fire pit area, and the tennis courts.
