The Club at SJC just doesn't live up to the other lounges around the county and world. Come here if you have passes that will expire or have a long layover.
Lounge has plenty of seating and restroom. The food selection for breakfast didn't have much of a selection. A little disappointing.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Jan 6, 2024Updated review
Passing through! A nice place to stop, relax and throw back a few if you've got the time.
Today I ordered the chicken teriyaki off of the Small Bites menu. It's enough to put something in your stomach while here. Had a Jim Beam and Diet Coke to wash it all down. Service was prompt and friendly as usual.
I'm sure I'll be back again soon!! See you then!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0Aug 1, 2022Previous reviewBack again, real quiet today. Pretty relaxing as it should be! No issues checking in, as usual show your boarding pass and membership card. They didn't ask for my ID today.
Staff here are always helpful and friendly. One of my top 5 lounges when I'm passing through Northern California. Food choices included avocado hummus, cheese cup, turkey, avocado & cheese slider, broccoli soup and meatballs to make a few. Had my usual Skyy and cran!May 13, 2022Previous reviewFirst time at a Priority Pass lounge and it was better than expected. This one is located in Terminal A and is upstairs, but there's an elevator too. The airport was super slow that day, stores were closed and others had limited hours. The airport seemed to be undergoing renovation but I was happy how uncrowded it was.
I had a 2+ hour layover so I wanted to stop by. The staff at the desk was very friendly and welcoming. I noticed right away how large and spacious this lounge was compared to some other ones I have frequented. There were multiple seating areas, some equipped with TVS, a bar, clean restrooms and a business-desk area. They had ample seating for groups of every size - I thought the layout was well-thought-out. They had big comfy chairs with tables and lots of outlets to charge your devices. All I can say is how much these lounges make layovers completely worth it!
I was able to grab a bite and relax with a drink. The bartender was helpful and the wait staff was pleasant. They had a self-serve area for water and coffee/tea, complete with pastries. I regret not trying the chunky chocolate brownie, but I guess I can save that for the next time I pass through San Jose! - Mar 17, 20241 check-in
The SJC club lounge is near gate 15, and it's spacious inside, divided into two sections, the smaller side is facing airport runways and the other side has full bar and TV setup. There's complementary snacks and drinks, and small bites available to order online as well. I'm surprised with the alcoholic drinks options.
Food & Drink:
Masala Chickpea Rice Bowl - *** Curry Tikka Masala Chickpeas Served over Rice
Smoked Ham and Monterey Jack Slider - *** Served on a Hawaiian Roll with Mayonnaise
Sweet and Sour Meatballs - *** Served over Rice and Topped with Chopped Scallions, very sweet
Loaded Bloody Mary - ** New Amsterdam Vodka, Zesty Tomato, Edible Garnishes
Blood Orange Mimosa - **** Sparkling Wine, Dash of Blood Orange, OJ, recommend
Club Margarita - *** Sauza Silver, Fresh Citrus BlendHelpful 6Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - Mar 15, 20241 check-in
It's decent, used to be a lot better way back when. Breakfast menu items are pretty lackluster, it's still a great place to "pre-game" with all the alcohol choices they have. Kinda wish they'd open another one closer to SWA, as it can be a bit of a walk for A20 or beyond.
The staff are all amazing and service was wonderful.
Some of the patrons are the sussy ones, however. At one point in the morning, at least 5 people over at the self serve counter just started coughing all over the food and drink. No masks on, no gestures to cover their coughs.
Some people are disgusting.
Anyways, don't forget to tip the staff!Helpful 6Thanks 0Love this 5Oh no 0 - 6894283167Feb 14, 20241 check-in
Nice separate place to relax instead of gate but leaves ALOT to be desired when it comes to bites...really cheap tbh - carrots, celery, sad soup and gross sliders. That's it
Alcohol choices for those drinkers but I'd be REALLY disappointed if I paid for access to this airport "lounge" (I get it through my cc)Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Oct 3, 2023
A nice lounge to kickback and relax while waiting for flights! I have Priority Pass, and I frequent the lounge near gate A16 when passing through SJC for my business trips. I mainly come here during the middle of the week, so I've never had issues with walking in or any wait times.
Overall, the food is decent for the lounge. As someone who's been here during breakfast and non-breakfast times, I personally like the non-breakfast assortment better (but I'm also more of a non-breakfast person in general, so I could be biased). The alcohol selection is pretty generous, with my favorite being the Passionfruit sangria. Food comes out in a timely manner, there's ample seating throughout the lounge, bathrooms within the lounge space, and lounge-dedicated WiFi that's separate from the general airport WiFi.
Probably not worth paying out of pocket for a lounge visit if you don't already have Priority Pass or status through an airline, but nice to stop by if you're able to enter for free.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Andy K.Culver City, CA19641Mar 23, 2024
Terrible service, mediocre food, and rude staff/manager.
I ordered many food items to try, and when the food arrived, the fork included had lipstick on it. When I asked a staff member for a new fork, she just pointed in the direction of the utensils without a word, making me feel like I was troubling her.
Additionally, when I ordered a drink, a separate waitress brought my drink out and she was wearing headphones. I asked her to confirm if this was the correct drink and she flatly said, "that's what I said". I decided to move seats, and she seemed to follow me with her eyes and stare at me. She was unprofessional providing service with headphones on and very hostile and uncomfortable in the way she was treating me.
I only decided to try out this place because my credit card reimburses for airport lounges, BUT The Club lists itself as travel agency on the merchant description. Now my bank is refusing to reimburse me for the airport lounge fee. I called The Club to correct the problem and the manager was unhelpful said the money gets sent directly to the bank for corporate. Very shady. Now I have been on the phone with my bank to correct this charge for 2+ hours.
Overall, this has been a horrible experience, and was not worth any of this hassle. Would definitely have not spent my own money here.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 951037550Jan 14, 2024Updated review5 check-ins
The food quality is terrible, and their online menu bears zero resemblance to what's actually available. The tuna salad sliders are soggy and gross, and the teriyaki chicken is just plain weird (it's more like chili, and not at all pleasant). It's really quite embarrassing that The Club keeps getting worse and worse, yet charges a lot to enter. At least it wasn't crowded today.
Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 1Jul 8, 2023Previous reviewDisappointing - their web site says breakfast until 11am, but that's false - it ends at 10:30 and you can't order anything (even lunch) after that time until "around 11:30" according to the staffer I just asked.
Dec 12, 2022Previous reviewCame here after checking out the other location at gate 8 - this location is much bigger and nicer. However, it was PACKED - almost every seat taken and lots of people milling about because there were no two-seats together. Food came out quickly here too, but they ran out of several things that had been available at the other location. Staff was friendly, but this was nowhere near as relaxing as the gate 8 location. Food still really needs an upgrade (and stop putting mayo on sandwiches!)

A nice place to wait before boarding, spacious and comfy.
Food is terrible, you order there app , it looks good but when they bring it to you, it is the opposites. You look at the meatballs it had 4 but they give you 2. Cocktails, spirits and wine are decentHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 2044811752May 12, 2023
The lounge was pretty full but were able to find a spot for 4 of us. We didn't know we could order from the QR code until we got to the bar and ordered directly with the staff. They were quick and prepared our drinks on the spot.
I loved that they offered a sparkling wine b/c I don't do beers, or red wines. On our next order we did order from the QR code and they're supposed to bring it to you. But our drinks were taking way too long, so we went up to the bar to just place the order there, which they happened to start working on.
For food, they had just finished breakfast and were getting ready to put out lunch. My cheddar broccoli soup was tasty! I didn't order food from the QR code but did see others who opted for the QR food items.
The restrooms seemed cleaned and I appreciated that they were located inside the lounge vs outside.Helpful 2Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - Dec 2, 2023
I had an opportunity to join my son at this lounge with his Priority Pass. It was quite a walk from Terminal B Gate 23. It was located in the international flight's section. Once we arrived at the international terminal, we took an elevator to the lounge and found it was quite empty. We ordered food by scanning the code on our table. Our food arrived shortly. They also had a spread of food and drinks, including veggie sticks and hummus, salad, soup, chips, sodas, and coffee machine. I liked everything except the soup that tasted a little burnt.
