Very very cute bar / lounge with live jazz music! We came by to see the carousel and ended up staying for the vibes, music, and a couple drinks. Despite how hectic and crazy it gets here on the weekends, the wait staff is still pretty attentive and organized which is nice.
The carousel itself is very pretty (and moves too)! Drinks here are pretty good, but definitely pricey. Very convenient location, right next to Bourbon street, but not in all the craziness.

Ambiance was pretty cool because of how you slowly went round and round.
Cocktails came out really great! Would definitely recommend and come back. They were very pricey drinks though

Very hyped up place but fell short from on many levels from service to drinks.
Impossible to get a seat here on some nights, people just hovering over tables and tables are close together near the restaurant and just uncomfortable just have a seat drink there. I ordered the Fleur de Lis ($18) and it was weak. Honestly, not worth it to drink here just for a picture at the bar with the carousel decor.

We apologize that your visit didn't quite live up to the hype. We take pride in our cocktail program, and we're sorry the Fleur de Lis wasn't as potent as you'd prefer.
While we aim to provide a fun and vibrant atmosphere, we understand the close table proximity might not have been ideal for a comfortable experience.

This was a bar landmark so I had to make my way to the actual Carousel. It was great fun. The drinks were great. The bartender was alittle cranky, maybe due to the many people swirling around him. The ambiance was way you might expect from bar landmark that did 360s. Good news was that the movement did not impact my ability to drink.

Super fun bar with really fabulous cocktails! Be lucky or fast enough to grab seats on the carousel. It takes about 20 minutes for a spin while sipping a lovely libation. Fun and unique way to drink in NOLA!

One of the coolest bars I've ever drank at.
Didn't realize the bartenders had to climb over the top of the bar to get in and out. My mind was blown by that realization.

210170859Feb 23, 20241 check-inThis was absolutely on my checklist for our New Orleans trip. We arrived at the hotel at 10 for the 11AM open and were 8th in line. This was perfect to get us a seat at the actual carousel and not one of the tables around. Score.
Drinks were great, service was fantastic. Our plan was to have a round of drinks, take the photos and then scoot off to the next thing, but the reality was we got hungry, so we ordered snacks, and then we started making friends with the people around us, and before we knew it, our afternoon got away from us. Whoops.
I had the carousel old-fashioned, which was quite delicious, and we ordered the crab beignets and mussels dish.

The bar is a repurposed carousel and it still rotates (subtly). My five friends and I sat at a table in the lounge. Finding seats will be hard, but we just joined two girls who already at a table and talked to them before they left.
I got the Pimm's Cup. I'm not the best with alcohol and I ALWAYS taste alcohol even if my friends hand me a drink saying," you can't even taste the alcohol in this drink!" But the Pimm's Cup was soooo good. Very light, fruity, and refreshing!

Fun to visit for a view but whoever thought spinning and drinking go together has a vivid imagination. Drinks are expensive yet strong and chairs don't move close or out from the bar. They put an extra charge on bill and when we asked they said it was for recycling?

We showed up early (about 30 minutes before opening on a Wednesday) to get seats at the carousel. We were first in line and loved the whole experience!
Yes, the whole concept is a bit of a gimmick, but it's a fun gimmick, the bartenders are friendly and efficient, and the drinks are yummy and strong. We stayed for a few rotations (about an hour) and had 2 drinks each. Definitely will stop in again next time we're in New Orleans.
