This is my favorite place to go to get used books! It is such a hidden gem. Everything is $1 or less and there is always something for everyone. It definitely takes a lot of searching to find something that you will love, but that's the best part. There have been times that I have walked away with stacks of amazing finds. I try to go every Saturday that I am home and free! I definitely recommend visiting if you love books!

Where have I been all this time?!? I guess I should just be happy to finally have found this book lover's paradise. So many books, such a wonderful location, a gold mine for those who love being surrounded by old books and people who love them. Books are even cheaper than at most used book stores or thrift shops. Love it!

One of the best bookstores I've been to! They have a wide variety of books, cds and movies. Friendly and helpful staff. I will definitely be coming back here!

A gold mine is to gold as this book cellar is to books.

Huge selection of used books, including paperback, hardcover, children's, adults and even CD's are available for very reasonable prices.

Only open on Saturday's, ample parking with friendly staff, what else could one ask for??

Oh, and they gladly accept donations of used books, too!

OMG.... I've been visiting here for over a decade and found countless treasures. Folks are super nice and usually free Oreos or cookies can be had.

Awww why 5 awesome stars? Because it's just fabulous here!

My favorite book store. All the volunteers make this "cellar" a fun place to visit. It's organized like any other place of its size and caliber. I've been shopping here for more than ten years and always find gems.
I've gotten classics my kids need for school, cook books that I wouldn't have otherwise tried, and I've heard people talking about interesting books that spark my interest.
I like this store and keep visiting and supporting the Friends of the Library. Keep up to good work.

Amazing bookstore. I came here for Stephen King books and found like new hardcovers for only $1. Very easy to browse. The volunteers, Tom and his wife, were very helpful. Cash only! I will definitely be back here!

A truly exceptional and a gem find. Diane and her volunteers are the most knowledgeable and instill a welcoming place to purchase used books. Clearly the book cellar has the best selection with ample turnover of new books are being circulated into the main area. If you are in the Agoura Hills area and want to experience a lively used book store. Pop in on a Saturday! I will continue to shop and donate my books! Thank you for being exceptional in everyway.

Great people who are knowledgable and friendly. I donated a thousand books to them from my personal library after discovering that all of them are volunteers and whatever money they generate from the resale of my donation is used to support functions of the public library. 100%. That's amazing. People need to support the libraries.

The Book Cellar, in Agoura Hills, is a rare find. Located in the lower parking lot of the Agoura Hills Library, this used book seller is open every Saturday for those of us that need to feel the pages of a book in our hands, turn the pages to find out what happens next, or to just run into old friends or the lovely volunteers that give up their Saturday to help the library raise funds for the programs they have or to purchase new books. One such person is Diane. I don't know if she has a photographic memory or not but ask her a question about a particular book you are looking for and she can tell you if she has seen it, sold it, or secured it in the back room (really for Diane and her volunteers).

Thank you to The Book Cellar for making my Saturday's start off headed in the right direction.
