The Body Shop

I like this location a lot. The employees are very nice and the selection is good. However, whenever the holidays are around,they reduce inventory on a lot of items. For example, I went in to get my wife a new scrub glove around Thanksgiving and they didn't have any out. I was told they keep them in the back so they had to go & grab one for me. Sure, I was still able to get what I came in for, but it just seemed odd. That's an item that doesn't take up a lot of retail space, so why pull those?

But that's not a common occurrence. Other than that, you'll have a good experience here. The employees are always friendly & helpful and they're not going to try & up sell you all the time like other stores will.

The sales people at this location are always nice and friendly. They have great selection of body and facial products.

When I was walking through the mall this store peaked my interested so I walked in. The moment I walked in a lady was staring at me and was repeatedly asking me what I was looking for in a non friendly manner. I immediately left the store after feeling unwelcome and later visited to continue browsing and now there were three ladies staring at me so I asked if they were okay. After I did this, one became very aggressive with me then called security which I then left and not to return. If you are looking for a friendly and welcoming environment to shop. I would not recommend going here.

Extremely rude and racist staff. I have always been a huge fan of this brand and normally order online but recently stopped my in person to stock up. The whole time I was there the employees were following me around the store and wouldn't even let me hold the items in my basket and took them to the front register. Extremely disappointed with the service here if you are black do not shop at this location you would be better off online!

Honestly the sweetest staff EVER! I was assisted to get the skincare catered to my skin type and it was such an amazing experience. Learned a lot about my skin type and how I can take care of it a lot more effectively. You need to check this store out if you want really affordable, natural, and amazing skincare.

Wonderful customer service! I wish I could have caught a the women's name who helped me today because she provided top tier service. She helped me find exactly what I was looking for.

We are giving a 5-star review to the Canoga Park Body Shop because of one certain worker. Her name is Jody. We came to this store on Thursday, July 22, 2021. She was very helpful and understanding to our needs. At most places nowadays, you do not really find people who are so caring to consumers in the way Jody was to us. We really do hope that we see her again, that is if we come back to this store pretty soon. Other than that, that is all I have to say.

Love The Body Shop but honestly, sign up online and shop online to get better deals. Customer service is always pretty good at this location. I'd been wanting to try the tea tree oil skincare line and finally found the face wash, toner and moisturizer. I also bought some interesting banana shampoo and conditioner (smells amazing but doesn't do much for my hair). I also decided to try a different body butter. Vanilla Pumpkin! Just as awesome as all of their body butters.
Two days after my purchase, I got an email from The Body Shop and, no joke, 5 out of the 6 items I had just purchased were 40% off! I could have gotten the body butter for "free" with the savings. Oh well, sometimes you miss a sale!
I love the tea tree oil skincare products. They're really good and my skin looks and feels amazing.

Want to get ignored when trying to shop and you don't know what you want? Then I suggest you go to Sephora. Want pleasant attention and assistance as soon as you walk into the store? I suggest you go to The Body Shop. If you're lucky enough to encounter Noi and Sabana, then be assured you will be well taken care of. Not all middle aged guys are familiar with the myriad of products women like to slather their bodies with. These ladies will patiently advise and inform you. But again, if you wish to be treated like you are a leper with festering pustules, then go to Sephora. Get yourself into The Body Shop.
