After enjoying glasses of chardonnay at nearby Luna Lounge (please reference my review if interested), my wife and I headed to The Blind Pig to enjoy a few cocktails. Upon entering, we were greeted by a friendly bartender by the name of Ronny. Our first round consisted of two dirty martinis (my new drink of choice), which Ronny put his fist (that's a good thing) into making. One of the things that I love about dive bars is the various demographics that usually frequent them (along with their interesting conversations).
For our second round we ordered a "Manmosa (yes I know that sounds ridiculously machismo in 2024)" that Ronny insisted on putting a fruity spin on. Not only were we thankful for his suggestion, but his version was GOOD! In real dive bar-like fashion, Ronny provided us both with an extra cup to house the remainder of the Manmosa that could not fit into our glasses (another dive bar perk). As we sat at the bar, my wife and chatted while lightly watching the movie Step Brothers on one of the televisions.
Although it was a fairly slow Saturday afternoon, I can imagine that this place gets pretty lively in the latter part of the night though. We observed lots of seating, games, and an area for karaoke (toasted karaoke is the best!). I highly recommend The Blind Pig if you're looking to have deliciously strong drinks at a price that won't have you waking up the next morning rethinking the decisions that you made the previous night!Helpful 2Thanks 1Love this 3Oh no 0 - 44231601Aug 31, 2023

The best little dive bar in Carmichael. Strong drinks, wonderful bartenders, and locals galore. Come to trivia on Tuesdays for a truly awesome experience with Ronny. He's my favorite bartender- probably of all time. Just can't say enough good things about this place.

Darts, pinball, and a hunting game inside but I've been there once a week for the last 6 months and never found a shuffleboard- so just a bit of a heads up there. Cheap, stiff drinks, awesome crowd.

Best Swanky Dive Bar in Town. Friendly staff and good pours. The Blind Pig offers a number of great up to date taps and plenty of yesterday and today's best liquors. The crowd is local during the afternoon and 20 to 40 something's at night. Great atmosphere and a good time for all.

Great little bar! I stopped in on a Friday and felt right at home. Good crowd friendly staff! I believe Matt was working and really made me feel welcome. This is a place I will visit again when in the neighborhood. Perfect example of a dive bar that isn't a dive. It was clean and comfortable!

Hankering for a stuff drink and want to make that dollar stretch? Enjoy soft tip darts? Love a stellar giant flat screen television for sports? The Blind Pig is a great dive bar to satisfy all of these points. Outside looks odd for a bar, but don't be put off.
There's also a pinball machine and a hunting video game. Which reminds me, on the Friday night we made it in, there was a security guy keeping things peaceful. That was appreciated.
Eclectic mixed crowd as any dive bar draws. But every single one of them had a good attitude. It sure was nice they all kept telling my date that I was going to win at darts. Hahaha! And I did! Although he snapped up the game two win. Doh!
And if you're hungry, the Mexican restaurant next door will deliver. They prefer to receive cash payment for Mexican food delivery.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Dana B.Pacifica, CA112Jun 13, 2022
