We have been guests at The Bellmoor for over 10 years. We have stayed during all 4 seasons and truly have never been disappointed. This past weekend we arranged for 2 other couples to meet us there, it would have been 2 nights of great fun. However, the storm with high winds that hit the DC area we were the one couple that couldn't make it on Friday!
We finally arrived on Saturday morning!! They were kind enough to waive the 2 night min for us, considering the unfortunate weather conditions.
We were so delighted to walk in to the redecorated lobby and adjacent sitting rooms, so bright, cheery and still very welcoming!
The room we stayed in was also recently redone!
Thank you Rick for being so fabulous and see you soon!!!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mar 11, 20243 check-ins
"A beach is a place where a man can feel
He's the only soul in the world that's real"

The Bellmoor has so many fantastic features.
Their location is wonderful, just a few blocks from the beach, boardwalk, and maybe a hundred places to eat and shop.
Their lobby and library are so exquisitely decorated, you'd think of yourself as an extra in a Great Gatsby remake.
There is free parking in the street or in their lot. And if you happen to have an EV, no worries, they have an EV charger.
Their included breakfast was bountiful -baked goods, muffins, sticky buns, cut fruit, cereal, yogurt, granola, and plenty of hot choices like sausage, bacon, potatoes, scrambled eggs, and French Toast.
Behind the main hotel is a courtyard leading to smaller buildings with rooms. As you walk through the courtyard, you'll see their swimming pool and a Koi Pond. We were in a separate building with four units. The sleeping room was fine, the bathroom was fine but small. The TV and Wi-Fi worked well.
The only gripe we had was the HVAC Unit in our room (301) When the thermostat kicked on to call for heat the unit responded with a loud bang and a very loud roar that sounded like a convoy of trucks. We were watching the Oscars, and the heater literally drowned out the TV when it was running.
And of course, at night, it repeatedly woke us both up. Had we stayed for more than one night, I might have asked for a new room.
Overall, we had a very nice stay at the Bellmoor. Our rate was $142 after a trio of fees (Community Impact, Resort, & Destination Marketing) were added to the bill.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 7Oh no 0 - Corey R.Washington, DC2152Jan 22, 2024
I stayed at the Bellmoor Inn in January 2024. After looking at the website and reviews, I was excited about my stay. Here are the pros and cons based on my experience.
Pros: The lobby area is as pictured on the website. I happened to be visiting during a cold snap, so the fireplace provided a warm, cozy welcome. The front lobby area is spacious. The front desk was helpful and friendly during my check-in and throughout my stay. They also have a texting service you could use for any questions which was quick and convenient.
The complementary breakfast was great. There a large variety of options available. During the weekend, the dining area gets full but the staff was quick as clearing tables. In my opinion, this was one of the best perks of the hotel.
There are plenty of parking options, including a small underground parking lot. It can provide protection of the extreme heat and cold.
Cons: I was given Accessible Deluxe King room. I didn't need or request the ADA-compliant room. While I appreciate they have these rooms for those who need it, I would have preferred a standard room. The bathroom felt outdated, including the shower. One the positive side, the room was spacious and included a desk (I was here for a work trip).
A couple other notes: outside of breakfast, the hotel does not serve food for lunch or dinner. There are a lot of nearby restaurants around that are within walking distance. The hotel does have a small bar area. Also, I would have appreciated a gym. Given the size of the property, I think having a gym would be an added bonus. Since it was winter, I didn't have access to the pool and didn't use the hot tub. I also didn't use the spa.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Jul 10, 2023
One of my favorite places to come for a massage while vacationing is the Bellmoor with Randa. She always listens to my ailments and attacks the right spots! I come out feeling like a new person!
I appreciate her time, skills and helpful suggestions to help out my muscles between massages.
I'll be back-- see you in the fall!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Barb B.Washington, DC3323Sep 22, 2023Updated review
Another outstanding stay at the Bellmoor. Ed at the front desk was beyond wonderful. Looking forward to my next visit.

I have stayed in many hotels in Rehoboth over the years, and I probably walked by the Bellmoor 50 times -- never realizing how wonderful it is. There is a comfortable library just off the lobby, and a tranquil courtyard, where guests can eat breakfast, relax near the Koi pond, and enjoy the birdsong. The little touches (like coffee, and tea available all day) were terrific. My room with two queen beds was spacious, clean, and comfortable. It included a sink, a coffee station, and a fridge -- options I appreciate. Buffet breakfast was included in the price of the room. Everything was fresh and plentiful, and I lingered over my coffee in the pleasant courtyard. I am looking forward to my next visit -- maybe in January so I can take advantage of a 4th-floor room with a fireplace!

Very quaint hotel about 1/4 mile to the Rehoboth Beach boardwalk with its beautiful sunrise! There are also very nice restaurants near by walking distance. I've been coming to Rehoboth Beach for years doing day trips from DC. I've stayed once or twice but this was a lovely experience thanks to the kind staff. But the BIGGEST shout out to the chef who made my egg white spinach & tomato omelet with cheddar. The omelet was so good I didn't need any additional seasoning and the omelet made the breakfast potatoes taste good.
Hats off to chef Craig!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Apr 15, 2022
We have made the Bellmoor Inn a yearly pilgrimage. The service at the Inn is outstanding, from the kitchen staff to the front desk. The property is very well maintained. The rooms are quite, clean and comfortable. The morning breakfast is always a welcome start of our day. There just are just so many good things you could say about the Bellmoor.
See you next time!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Ali M.Carlsbad, CA204327241Mar 25, 2023
Came for a couples massage since our in laws bought us some as Christmas gifts and were very pleased from start to finish with the spa experience. Ashanti was a great masseuse and all of the staff were wonderful. It was very relaxing, felt top notch and they didn't skimp on anything. Would absolutely recommend. I didn't get to take more pictures because I was so relaxed but the hot tub area and whole spa floor is divine. Loved the library area as well and will return soon! Thank you for a great time!

I have mixed feelings about the Belmoor. The things we looked forward to at the Belmoor were not kept up. The adult floor we were on had kids screaming down the halls; the library with snacks was cleared out of water; the balcony was dirty; the hot tub had people actively drinking glass bottled beer; the hot tub was missing pieces and had no operating directions. The spa staff ignored the drunk glass drinkers and the water was not restocked for far too long. The jetted tub in our room had no directions but we figured it out but it only worked for a few minutes. For the $1200 we paid we expected for rules to be enforced and everything to work. Oh and the toilet handle and flapper thing both stuck in our room which was so annoying - everytime we used it one or the other had to be reset. And there was mildew all over the ceiling HVAC registers. Lack of caring, just a cheap remodel.

This was such a lovely inn to stay at in Rehoboth. The room was beautiful and charming. The common areas were cozy and welcoming. There is a sitting area near the entrance that looks like a library. The inn also has a spa and a jet tub available for guests which was very relaxing.
I was pleasantly surprised by the choices they had available for breakfast even during covid. They were taking necessary precautions which made me feel at ease staying there. The staff was also very helpful and accommodating and made it a very wonderful stay.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Keith C.Owings Mills, MD11230899Apr 27, 2023
Sadly this family run inn has been sold to a chain in NY and it shows. Our room had cracked windows and some of the tile look damaged as well. The breakfast has dropped in quality as the eggs were drenched in butter, the fried potatoes sat in oil, the bacon burnt and the sausage and cinnamon rolls undercooked. This may be because the staff is spread thin. The guy serving omelets was the same guy who helped unlock our safe for my wife when she forgot the combination. Hopefully the inn hires cooking staff soon. I would hate to see this very nice inn get worse.
