I'm so happy we found a dog boarding place we can trust! We live not to far from The Barkery so it's easy for us to get to. The staff is always friendly and kind, they keep the place clean and our dog always seems to have enjoyed himself when we go to pick him up. He used to stay at a place that had cages as the door to the kennel so he would rub his nose against it so much he would have a red mark on the top of his nose. When we pick him up from the Barkery he doesn't have that red mark.

Left our sweet little fur baby ,Stella, for her very first time when we went away on vacation at The Barkery Boarding in Lutz. Maria and her staff were very ,very sweet and made us feel so comfortable and assured us Stella would be taken very good care of for the duration of her stay. We got pictures and videos texted to us on a daily basis and text messages were answered right away when asked how she was doing :) Stella was placed with other dogs with the same temperament as her so there would be no issues. She was cared for very well and we were super thrilled !
Prices were very reasonable as well !
We will definitely be using them again for our girl and highly recommend The Barkery Boarding !

Just returned from six days of travel picked up my pups they were calm, shampooed well cared for and smelled great. The pups received an upgraded room that included two beds with their favorite blankets. I received pictures from the owner about my dogs and their well-being. There are no cameras in the sleeping areas but social media has updates of your animals. These owners love animals and it shows. No overcrowding and very caring facility. We will return the end of July.

This place is exactly what is needed to appropriately board dogs and nothing more. I truly mean that in the best way possible. You're not going to get some sort of luxury spa experience for your pet here and you're not going to pay a luxury spa kind of price. I brought my corgi puppy here and he had a great time. They seem to have a large focus on outside play which is really important to us. The couple that owns the place is super nice and friendly. They really care about their clients. I'm really glad we found this place. We'll definitely be back!

My dog is happy there. The owners are very involved and just nice people. They text with pictures and updates. I've never had a bad experience, and my dog has stayed probably a dozen times.

I totally love when dog daycare/ boarding places are out of house so its more comfy and homey for your pets but this place I can not put into words. As soon as you walk in the place is a mess. The area they have for the cats is as tiny as a closet. The backyard made my jaw drop. There is rusty old fences, a hug mud hole filled with water right in the middle of the yard where the dogs are suppose to "play". There is just things laying everywhere in the outside yard in the back, no where for dogs to lay down or sit without dirt or mud puddles, rocks, etc. The backyard area is very small. They combine the super small dogs with the large dogs and when I was watching the dogs outside it seemed like no one was even watching them because the same big dog kept trying to hump and go after a smaller dog over and over and no one did anything. The areas where they board your animals is basically a closet with tile and a window and you have to bring a bed and everything else. The owners wife was all over the place when I was trying to talk to her and barely understood me. I tried talking to her about my dog and she could barely stand there for one minute to talk to me. I totally support family owned businesses but this place shouldn't even be considered a doggy care/ boarding facility. I would 0/10 ever recommend this place.
