Texas Reds and Whites Tasting Room

Not impressed. So disappointed. However, my flight of 3 wines were actually really good. My company didn't care too much for theirs. Really excited to find a wine tasting amongst a beer city.

Location- perfect. Between Rainey and 6th/congress area. We were staying in Rainey and it's totally walkable.

Atmosphere/service- torn. Different types of tables and games available to play, I'm guessing while you wait... because we ordered 2 flights, and 1 tasting and it was over 20 minutes before wine was in front of us. In fact a couple who came in after us had waters and oyster crackers in front of them before we did.

They give you a red solo cup of water?? Major turnoff. Not only in the presentation but the impact on the environment. Please serve your water in regular glasses.

Our flights and tastings came out well done and they were correct. I thoroughly enjoyed that they were all Texas wines! Mine were great. Order a glass of the Tempranillo and you can't go wrong.

Y'all. This place is so cute! We stumbled into Texas Reds and Whites just by chance. The owner was so incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home! She explained their menu of exclusively Texas wines, and she let us sample some she thought we may like.

We decided to share two bottles between our group of six- one Cabernet Sauvignon and one Pinot Grigio. The space has a variety of cozy spots to sit back and relax while sipping wine with friends. I especially liked their huge wall art! It was the perfect spot to take a fun picture with friends.

Definitely a great spot to try out some Texas wines, and the prices were incredibly reasonable. I would recommend this place for any wine lover wanting a fun tasting experience!

Super friendly service from the moment you walk in. Great prices on flights and tastings. Beautiful tasting display. Wonderful bottle and glass selection. Nice cheese plate.
Definitely worth a pop in if you're out and about downtown.

Like it a lot! Don't let the outside fool you, it is very charming on the inside. My wife enjoyed her flight and I enjoyed the Saddlehorn moscato.

Good service and great atmosphere. I'll definitely be back on my next trip to Austin.

This place is so cute! We stopped in here after doing the Escape room a couple doors down. They had a variety of whites, bubbles and reds to choose from. The lady who was working there was incredibly helpful. We all chose 6 wines to taste as well as got the cheese and crackers. They had this one bubbly wine that was strawberry and we all tasted it thinking it tasted like strawberry Fanta. Talk about a pool pounder! Loved this little location

This place was disappointing. I was with a group of girls on a trip to Austin. Knowing that Texas has several wineries we were looking for a place in town to try some wines. This place popped up highly reviewed on Yelp and was right in town.

Upon entering this place was empty. It was an afternoon offseason, so we didn't think much. The woman working was nice and told us about the tasting vs sample (5 vs 3) with a price of $20. The price was high, but we were still blinded and thought for $20 we'd be feeling pretty good after some decent pours... WRONG!!

For $20 I was given 3 "tastes" of wine that were about 3-4 sips each. It was not even one full glass of wine for $20!!! We could have gone into a restaurant and had 2 full glasses for the same price. It wasn't even like the atmosphere was something to make up for the steep.

In short, pass!! Don't let the reviews fool you!

Great place to drink some Texas wines without driving all over Texas to get them. This place has a relaxed atmosphere, so a great place to meet up with friends to enjoy a glass or a full tasting. The staff is very friendly and helpful. If you are in the area definitely check them out.

We stumbled into this place because my boyfriend is a huge wine lover. The tasting room is spacious and the decor is super cute and very Texas. Every wine on the menu is from Texas. For those of you who might be skeptical of Texas wine, don't fret; the wines are delicious by any standard. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the wines we tried, which might as well have been from southern France or Spain.

Our server was delightful and knew everything about the wines. She obviously has a passion for her product. Her service was impeccable and we'll definitely come by this spot again next time we're in Austin. We highly recommend the off-dry Spumante and Tempranillo! Cheers, y'all!

Went here on a Wednesday night, so it wasn't crowded at all. The lady who was serving us was very kind and patient with our group of 7 people who all wanted to do tastings of different wines. The inside is bright and clean and there's lots to choose from. I really love that it's just Texas wines. I would've given 5 stars, but I wasn't really blown away by the wines I picked. Overall, a good place to go if you want to do a wine tasting without having to make the trek out to the Hill County.

Awesome selection and wonderful owners. I'm a bit of a wine snob but tasted a few that could rival the reds in California. Recommend you stop by.
