      Yesterday, I had an appointment between 2 and 4, for my yearly termite inspection, that I had paid a year in advance, 185 dollars. NOBODY came and No communications or apologies. Called and got somebody from Arizona, after 28 minutes on hold. He confirmed my appointment, try to call Troy, the guy that was scheduled to come, tried the office in San Diego, try the supervisors. NO ANSWER! Left messages with everybody to call me. Well, after 26 hours, still no calls. I am mad, no way to treat a customer of 20 years. Still waiting....
      The management of the San Diego office is awful. They never answer their phone and the call go somewhere else in the states. I had to go few times, in the past, to their office for any kind of results.
      One star is a star to many!.....

      Horrible horrible horrible experience.

      Your establishment needs business coaching because of you're lack of professionalism, follow through and stress as a result of your horrible service, I choose to cut ties and search for better service for my large accounts with your establishment! Im done!

      WARNING: do not use Terminix. Unreliable employees who do follow-up when there is a big concerning problem relating to their services. They will lie and tell you they have resolved your issue so they can cover their mistake.
      Felipe--the salesman, complete bullshit. Only cares to make his sales than go throughly and do his job.
      Then you have higher up's, Jim & Chris who are complete liars. WARNING: Terminix subcontracts third parties to do the actual termite service. They damaged our security cameras, and brand new carpet... Chris & Jim lied they will be reimbursing us. We are considering taking this further because we have not heard from anyone!
      Big mistake: we agreed to do a 5 year term with them. This is unfortunate.

      On October 19th, 2023 I signed the contract with Victor Maquez in Terminix to have Fumigation service with Tent Defend System, Contract #: 93704-101923232611-7583. He withdrawed my money $340 for deposit. The timeline of Fumigation was planned on November 24th - 27th.
      On November 22nd, 2023, Victor came to my house to go over the fumigation preparation check list and said everything was ready. In the afternoon that day one Terminix member called and let me know the plan for Fumigation will be from 2-5PM on November 24th.
      On November 24th one technician from SDG&E came to my house to shut off gas valve at 8:30AM. She told me the gas has been turned off and scheduled to turn on November 27th. I called Victor at 9AM and let him know the SDG&E already turned off the gas, everything was ready for fumigation and I will stay in the hotel during this time. I told him to let me know when the tent was taken down so I could leave the hotel and re-entered the home waiting for SDG&E to restore the gas. He said everything as planned.
      At 6PM on November 24th I checked cameras and hadn't seen any work of fumigation. I called Victor and his manager Christiaan Van Luit to ask them the reason. No one picked up the phone, then I left them the messages.
      At 10 AM on November 25th, I double checked and haven't seen any sign of service. I called Victor and Christiaan again. Christiaan picked up the phone and told me the service has been cancelled. I told him I haven't got any notice of cancellation by email or by phone, and on the phone conversation with Victor on November 24 morning, he didn't tell me any about the cancellation at all. I also asked Christiaan to have responsible for hotel expense due to cancellation without notice. He said they didn't plan to reimburse.
      I called local branch manager Dave regarding about the deposit and hotel reimburse. He said his company might return deposit, but not for hotel expense.
      I was still not receive any refund from Terminix. On March 9th, 2024, I sent email to terminixcares to ask them for deposit reimburse. But I didn't get any response from terminix.
      It has been 6 months since I signed the contract with Terminix, but the service has been cancelled without notify to the customer. They don't refund me any money for deposit at all.

      I was a loyal customer for over 10 years. I paid my bills on time because I had autopay. The technicians were great until I got Juan Saldana. He decided not to do his job the first time he went to my property but I was still charged. I let it slide. Then my tech Stacy got promoted. This is when the trouble started. I got Juan Saldana. His first visit to my property he texted that he did not perform the service. He did not tell management that he did not perform the service apparently. I was charged. Then this morning, before 8am, he called me (did not text) that he was on the way to my home. His cell phone said D VAZQUEZ not Juan Saldana and not Terminix. Very shady. My former tech Stacy's phone always had Stacy's name on it. Also Juan was rude to me and talked over me. Not professional. I called Mario the regional supervisor. He apologized and was professional. I would have been okay if it had stopped there. Unfortunately, Jiuan's direct supervisor called me and gaslit me, telling me it was my problem not his. Well it has always been his problem. Now it is Mario's problem because I have canceled my account, made a formal complaint with Terminix naming names, reported the false charge on my credit card to the fraud department at my bank, and canceled my account. If anyone ever asks me why I no longer use Terminix, I will repeat what is written here.

      Full disclosure; I didn't get a chance to experience the quality of work thanks to the Terminix representative who arrived at my house.

      I received a text from this gentlemen about 90 minutes prior to my appointment window stating he will arrive within 30 minutes. I respond with my disagreement to the schedule change due to having an appointment from 4-4:45 (my kids swim lesson). I got no text response from the driver.

      At 3:50pm, my doorbell rings and it is Terminix completely disregarding my objection to the last-minute change to the plan. He stated that I was the last appointment for the day. I can only assume he wants to get home himself. I told him (again) that I cannot shift my schedule with 90-minutes notice.

      As I leave for my kids swim lesson, dude creeps us all out staying parked in front of our house.

      I can't say enough to convince anyone to never, ever call Terminix! I had field mice in my home and stupidly signed a contract for over $900 for them to get rid of the mice. They came out and put sticky traps all over and said they'd be back in a couple of days. I told them not to use sticky traps and they did anyway. Then after there was a mouse on the trap, I had to take the moving mouse out myself. Now I have another one and no one has ever come back to get the traps. The poor mouse is still moving on the trap and again I have to remove it

      This company has no follow up, and I would not use them ever again!

      It was easy to book an appointment to get an evaluation for termites. I did not have termites, but it was helpful that they determined that there was no bugs in my home. I appreciate that they came out to look quickly and for free!

      Scheduled a one time treatment for 10am-12pm slot. 12:05 I haven't received a call so I reach out to the number on my email confirmation. I'm told they are reaching out to the driver but no response. I call again at 12:45 for another status and again no response from driver. I call again at 1:30 to cancel the service. The cancellation process is a nightmare. I'm told I can't simply get a refund but instead have to wait for the local branch to reach out several days from now to issue a refund for services not rendered. I ask for a direct number for them and told that they don't have one and that everything goes through the National number. Not only that but they don't give any sort of confirmation of the cancellation request. So now I am waiting for a company who doesn't keep communication to call me to communicate a refund is happening. What the actual hell is this scheme?

      Felipe was super helpful in the free inspection and gave a lot of good advice. Very kind and helpful and a good worker. He also had shoe coverings! Would have scheduled if HOA didn't cover costs of termite extermination. Very grateful. Thank you!

      A Terminix employee got a bag of used rat traps out of his truck and threw them into our home's trash container. When I asked him to remove them, he responded, "They're in a bag.". After asking him again, he glared and then removed them. It was by chance I saw him do it. How many other unsuspecting residents are unknowingly being used as Terminix's hazardous waste disposal sites?
