Not bad but not great. I ordered the chicken katsu with all veggies and an order of chicken pot stickers.
The pot stickers were delicious although you can tell they were premade (probably frozen then fried). My issue with the chicken katsu was the veggies. It was 90% cabbage. Luckily I like cabbage but I had hoped that there would be more carrots and broccoli. I had this same issues when I ordered a to-go order a few months back.
The place itself was very quiet. I was the only one eating in there at 12:45pm. The only nose was the radio overhead and the owner's toddler (and her toddler was more quiet than mine ever is!).
If you're looking for a quiet place to grab lunch then I'd recommend this place. Just don't expect a meal exploding with flavor.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Richard H.Carmichael, CA3439003818Feb 19, 2018Updated review
Teriyaki Madness, Santa Barbara Blvd. Cape Coral, Fl. Here is my 2 cents on the food and chit chat.
I must say this food is consistently good. It healthy, made to order so always fresh, and reasonable price. A bowl will cost you from $8-12 bucks depending on what U get. From being a spicy carnivore
to a mild wimpy veggie head.
BUT with a coupon which seems to be out every month. Only $5 a bowl.
You can order a head and pick up at a drive thru or walk inside.
It always appear clean.
Staff is quick and friendly.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Oct 27, 2017Previous reviewTeriyaki Madness, Santa Barbara Ave, Cape Coral, FL, Here is my 2 cents on the food and chatter.
The food. A beef bowl with noodle & veggies. Extra spicy...Of course never extra spicy... But they had a sriracha on the table. This is a good and filling meal. I took over half the bowl home and dumped it on a dinner plate. It filled the plate. A good sign you get your money worth.
A modern chain for modern taste buds. One of the very few chain eateries I support.
Food is made to order...Staff was great.
One chain I will back go to...Having a coupon helpsMay 21, 2017Previous reviewTeriyaki Madness, Santa Barbara Blvd., Cape Coral, Fl., Here is my 2 cents on the food, rant & rave, plus chatter.
The food. I had the signature chicken teriyaki bowl with veggies, Plus the beef teriyaki plate with a side of macaroni. Overall very good for new chain eatery. I like them both. A medium sweet. Plus you can add hot sauce or extra soy sauce to change up your taste buds. The macaroni could use a bit more mayo but wonderful flavor.
Rant..I did not like that you had to pay extras for noodles or other items. It can jump up your price for a meal. Also pricey for a side of 2 oz. It's a buck fifty. :-(
Rave... Good to see a more diversity of food in the Cape...Plus a drive thru.
Chatter. With younger and more open minded folks coming here this is a excellent start for the Coma..The Cape. Service was wonderful. - Arianna D.Cape Coral, FL7663289Jul 14, 2018
Just ordered two meals for myself, my husband, and our 3 year old, for lunch today. We ordered 2 madness combos (noodles/rice plus two proteins, green or mac salad, and 24 oz. Drink. We also ordered 2 eggrolls (delicious). We ordered them to be delivered from the Yelp app--delivery provided by GrubHub, free delivery charge, and no minimum purchase.
He got fried rice, veggies, teriyaki chicken, and beef teriyaki. I got fried rice, veggies, orange chicken, chicken teriyaki. With our combos, I selected one mac salad and one green salad. Unfortunately, either the restaurant or driver forgot our mac and green salads.
Our bowls, on the other hand, were delicious! It tasted almost authentic with the fresh veggies. The bowl itself is huge, maybe 1.5-2" deep, and about 10" in diameter. It is filled halfway full with the rice/noodles you choose, then topped with plenty of veggies and meat.
The bowls were large enough to suffice for lunch AND dinner for all three of us. In summary, delicious food, fair price. Only reason doesn't receive 5 stars is because they forgot our mac and green salads. Will definitely eat here again.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Lisa G.Chicago, IL19939183May 24, 2018
Here's my 2 cents on the food and chatter..
so tonight was my first time at Teriyaki madness and I'm telling you now it WON'T be my last. Staff was extremely helpful, made suggestions on some of their most popular items. Decided to go with the Edamame (which tasted exactly like it should) and the Spicy chicken.
Saw a lot of comments on how you should order ahead due to the wait times but I didn't and my food came out very fast. My order was to go and I was actually surprised on how quickly it came out since I was prepared to wait. Food was hot, fast and most importantly FRESH! Glad we have this healthy option now here in the Cape. Keep doing what you're doing "Teriyaki Madness" thumbs up all the way. Do you franchise? I'd love to know more.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Dylan K.Cape Coral, FL05Aug 23, 2019
Great take out place better than your average Chinese food they specialize in teriyaki (go figure)
But they also have orange chicken which is my favorite and a few other things not a large menu at all but a great place for a quick lunch or pick up dinner night would recommendHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Maria H.Cape Coral, FL574Nov 4, 2017
This is good quick Chinese food. I got the orange chicken. It wasn't very orange flavor but it still was tasty and the chicken was nice and crispy. The veggies and rice were cooked perfect.
I also got the Crab Rangoon. They were good the sauce was different then what I have had at other places. It has apple notes in it. It was good just wasn't what I am use to.
Very clean restaurants and bathrooms.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Liz M.Cape Coral, FL24731Jul 1, 2019
I was super glad to see this location re-open with new ownership. I have to say I love the food here and it's so nice to find something deliciously vegetarian near my work. Today was my first visit and the tofu I ordered was delicious, also the mixed vegetables and white rice. Everything looks fresh and tasted great. I would have given it five stars except it certainly could use a good cleaning... the floors look filthy along with the bathroom. If I were the owner I would pay a cleaning crew a couple of hundred dollars to scrub that place from top to bottom and then make sure the employees keep it that way. Because it was so dirty I'm a little paranoid that I might be sick tonight, LOL. But if I'm not, I'll definitely come back for more.

Attempted to try Teriyaki Madness for the first time after a few people told me I should check it out. Upon arriving I was informed they were out of beef and chicken breast? They also had a very large order but could squeeze me in? Mind you there were only 2 people working and it was 30 mins after they opened....

This place was so nasty. I ordered an teriyaki chicken with veggies. The veggies were all old. You could see the mold on the bottom of the broccoli stems. My daughter got the yakisoba and she couldn't eat it because it tasted old. Nothing is fresh.

First time ordering, thru Bite Squad, very disappointed and I was so anxious to try once I saw the place was open again. Ordered a chicken breast bowl with fried rice, spicy...and a beef bowl with noodles, spicy. My order was accepted, then the phone call that the restaurant was out of chicken breast...so there goes half my order. I was not given the time through the delivery service to cancel the entire order, and I would've as my SO's neal was gone. The beef/noodle bowl & potstickers came...potstickers were nothing to brag about. The beef bowl was orded with noodles and claimed to come with veggies...there were 2 pieces of cucumber garnish on top, and 3 slivers of either bock choy or iceberg lettuce. That's it. The whole bowl had a mild chemical taste, so it was trashed. Doubt I'll be ordering again
